Following launch, new episodes of Group Chat will continue to air weekdays at 11:40 Uhr in Deutschland and at 14:50 Uhr in Österreich and Schweiz.

Group Chat (15 episodes) is a new pop culture talk show. Each episode will also feature fan-favorite stars, as they talk about the hottest trend topics of the week based on what kids are currently discussing across social media, play games and compete in challenges--all via video chat.

The series is divided into two: Part one is hosted by Jules LeBlanc and Jayden Bartels, co-stars of Nickelodeon’s Side Hustle, with special appearances by Hayley LeBlanc (Mani). Part two is hosted by social media star Brent Rivera and Jayden Bartels.

Special guests include: Ben Simmons, Anna Cathcart, Alex Wassabi, Peyton List and Johnny Orlando, Iain Armitage (Young Sheldon), as well as cast members of The Kissing Booth 2 (Joel Courtney, Joey King, Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Taylor Zakhar Perez), Feel the Beat (Sofia Carson and Wolfgang Novogratz), and Hubie Halloween stars Lilimar (Bella and the Bulldogs, Knight Squad) and Paris Berelc, as well as Adam Sandler and Nickelodeon legend Kenan Thompson (All That, Good Burger, Kenan & Kel, SNL).

Commissioned by Nickelodeon as part of the network's effort to keep kids and families entertained with new content during the on-going COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, the first season of Group Chat debuted May 23 on Nickelodeon USA and ranked as the number-one unscripted live-action show on cable with kids 6-11 in the second quarter of 2020. The series was greenlit alongside Nickelodeon's Unfiltered.

Production of Group Chat for Nickelodeon is overseen by Ashley Kaplan, Senior Vice President, Digital Studios; Luke Wahl, Vice President, Digital Studios; and Paul J. Medford, Vice President, Unscripted Current Series. Brent Rivera also serves as executive producer on the second part of the series.
