Nickelodeon Announces 'Kids’ Choice Awards 2022' Presenters, Unveils First Look at Stage

Nickelodeon will feature TikTok stars, recent Oscar winners and Grammy nominated artists at the 35th Annual Kids' Choice Awards, the channel announced on Thursday (April 7), Variety reports.

Peyton List, Xavier Woods, Ralph Macchio, Unspeakable, Charli D’Amelio, Dixie D’Amelio, Jordan Fisher, Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Samuel L. Jackson, Heidi Klum, Terry Crews, Sofia Vergara, Jace Norman, Charlie Puth, Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Isaiah Crews, Isla Fisher have all been announced as participants for the show, which honors achievements in television, film, music and sports, as voted on by viewers of Nickelodeon. The capacity in which the talent will be involved has yet to be disclosed.

Just Jared Jr. has also unveiled the Nickelodeon stars who will be making appearances at KCA 2022!

Ariana Molkara, Anton Starkman, Kate Godfrey and Christopher Martinez from Warped!, Alaya “That Girl Lay Lay” High and Gabrielle Nevaeh Green from That Girl Lay Lay, Luca Luhan, Havan Flores, Cooper Barnes, Michael D. Cohen, Dana Heath and Terrence Little Gardenhigh from Danger Force, Dylan “Young Dylan” Gilmer from Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan, Jayden Bartels and Jules LeBlanc from Side Hustle! and the cast of iCarly.

Athletes including Nikki Bella and Brie Bella will be joining the show alongside actors like Sofia Carson, Sabrina Carpenter and Josh Peck. MrBeast, Karl Jacobs, and Chance the Rapper are also expected to be part of the show in some way.

Additionally, Kids' Choice Awards 2022 will debut a first look trailer for the animated reimagining of Mel Brooks classic Blazing Saddles - which has been redubbed Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank. This will be followed by a full trailer on Monday, April 11.

The list of presenters follows the recent announcement that popular rappers Kid Cudi and Jack Harlow will be performing during the ceremony. Cudi will perform a melody of his singles “Stars in the Sky,” from the upcoming blockbuster film Sonic the Hedgehog 2, as well as “Pursuit of Happiness.” Harlow’s setlist for his performance has yet to be announced. Other entertainment expected for the night include Metaverse components of the ceremony, as well as the iconic slime stunts, including 1,000 slimes.

The 2022 Kids' Choice Awards will air on Saturday, April 9, at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT on Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., TeenNick and Nicktoons. Following it's U.S. debut, the special will roll out onto Nickelodeon channels internationally.

Fans can cast votes on the official Kids’ Choice Awards website,, and through the Screens Up app on supported iPad, iPhone and Android devices in the U.S. International fans can cast votes via the web at KCA.NICKELODEON.TV.

iCarly star Miranda Cosgrove and four-time Super Bowl champion Rob Gronkowski host the ceremony, which will take place at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Calif. The show will also be available to stream online, through Nickelodeon’s apps and websites.

The Kids' Choice Awards 2022 ceremony is directed by Glenn Weiss and executive produced by Michael Dempsey, with Magda Liolis, Andria Parides, Kathryn Rickey and Greg Sills serving as co-executive producers. Nickelodeon Production produces.
