10 Shake Rebrands To The Nickelodeon Channel From Tuesday, 1 August.

Premium Dedicated Nickelodeon Service Available Free, For The First Time Ever On Free-To-Air Television.


Australia - From Tuesday, 1 August Paramount Australia and New Zealand’s (ANZ) multichannel 10 Shake (Channel 13) will rebrand to the Nickelodeon channel, offering a free, dedicated and premium suite of Nickelodeon content for the first time on free-to-air linear television.

After a long and successful partnership in Australia with subscription television service provider Foxtel, Nickelodeon content will move in-house within Paramount ANZ’s extensive content portfolio across free-to-air channel Nickelodeon, BVOD service 10 Play and SVOD service Paramount+.

From 1 August, the dedicated Nickelodeon channel will deliver audiences a comprehensive program line-up, providing more Nick content for free across daytime and night-time viewing, offering something for everyone.

Nick Jr.’s family favourites will kick-off the daytime slate, with our heroic rescue pups from powerhouse preschool series PAW Patrol, leading mighty missions for the morning run. Joining the paw-some pups will be much-loved preschool properties including Blue’s Clues & You!, Baby Shark’s Big Show!, Santiago Of The Seas, Bubble Guppies and Blaze and the Monster Machines. The exciting channel refresh will also welcome preschool series Bossy Bear and season three of Ryan’s Mystery Playdate for their free-to-air debut.

For the afternoon kick-back, Nickelodeon's loveable SpongeBob SquarePants will be back for more under the sea adventures, while audiences will be delighted with more comedy and action-adventures from household titles such as The Loud House, The Thundermans, the original iCarly, The Casagrandes and Danger Force.

Plus, the Nickelodeon channel will showcase all-new animated comedy series for the first time on free-to-air including Middlemost Post, The Smurfs, Monster High and Transformers: EarthSpark.

Into the evenings, the Nickelodeon channel transforms into Nick@Nite offering premium content for mature audiences. The primetime Nick@Nite format will feature The Graham Norton Show, Gogglebox UK, The Middle and an assortment of movies from Paramount’s library of entertainment including franchises Mission Impossible, Star Trek, Sherlock Holmes and Transformers.

Mark your calendars because from next Tuesday, 1 August your TV viewing is about to get a whole lot more fun with the launch of Australia’s first Nickelodeon premium free-to-air channel.

Whether you fancy a deep dive to the Bikini Bottom for some nautical nonsense, a heroic rescue mission with our mighty paw-some pups, indulge in some Nick@Nite nostalgia with 90’s retro classics – Nickelodeon is bringing you more of the content you know and love – all for free, from Tuesday, 1 August.

The dedicated Nickelodeon channel will deliver audiences a comprehensive program line-up, providing more Nick content across daytime and night-time viewing, offering something for everyone.

The Nick Jr. preschool favourites will delight and surprise for launch week with beloved properties providing hours of entertainment across the morning run including PAW Patrol, Blaze And The Monster Machines, Blue’s Clues & You!, Baby Shark’s Big Show!, Bubble Guppies, Team Umizoomi, Ready Set Dance, Corn & Peg, Santiago Of The Seas, plus catch the free-to-air premiere of Ryan’s Mystery Play Date Season Three weekdays from 10.30am.

Over into afternoons, from August 1 the Nickelodeon channel will celebrate all-new content with the free-to-air debut of The Smurfs weekdays at 2.05pm, followed by Middlemost Post at 2.30pm, Season 12 of SpongeBob SquarePants from 3.50pm and The Casagrandes Season Two from 4.15pm, with Double Dare joining the weekend line-up at 2.30pm. Plus, enjoy episodes from other household titles including iCarly, The Thundermans, Danger Force, Henry Danger and Big Time Rush.

Launch week will also welcome Nick@Nite evening content for the young at heart, starting with retro 90’s classics across weekdays for the first time on free-to-air, including Ren & Stimpy, Angry Beavers, Rocko’s Modern Life, Aaahh!!! Real Monsters and Catdog.

And there will be lots of LOL’s, action and adventure to indulge in with late night movies across the week.

It all switches over on Tuesday, 1 August – free on Nickelodeon, Channel 13.
