Nickelodeon Presents All-New One-Hour Crossover Special “SpongeBob and Patrick’s Timeline Twist-up,” Premiering Friday, June 27 at 7:00 p.m. (ET/PT)
“SpongeBob’s Summer of F.U.N.” Kicks off Today, Treating Fans to Bikini Bottom Content on Nickelodeon and Paramount+ Throughout June

SpongeBob and Patrick get mixed up in a time traveling adventure in an all-new one-hour crossover special, “SpongeBob and Patrick’s Timeline Twist-up,” premiering Friday, June 27, at 7:00 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon. During the SpongeBob SquarePants and The Patrick Star Show crossover, when Patrick’s Time Closet goes on the fritz, SpongeBob’s history is re-written by time traveling interlopers.
In the special, characters from The Patrick Star Show--Squidina, Cecil, Bunny, and GrandPat-- embark on a time-traveling adventure through some of the most iconic SpongeBob SquarePants episodes, including “Rock Bottom,” “Ripped Pants,” “Neptune’s Spatula,” and “Help Wanted.” As they appear, it is up to SpongeBob and Patrick to restore the timeline and stop the madness. The special also features guest star John O’Hurley (Seinfeld) as the voice of King Neptune.
Kicking off today and running throughout June, “SpongeBob’s Summer of F.U.N.,” a campaign where fans can check out SpongeBob Universe content on Nickelodeon and Paramount+, leads up to the all-new special. Highlights include:
- New episodes of SpongeBob SquarePants premiering Friday nights on Nickelodeon.
- Coming to Paramount+ - SpongeBob SquarePants season 14 (6/4), the SpongeBob SquarePants: Snow Yellow special (6/4) and The Patrick Star Show season 3 (6/25). Paramount+ is the streaming home for SpongeBob fans with more Bikini Bottom content than any other streaming service, including SpongeBob SquarePants seasons 1-14; original spinoff series Kamp Koral; SpongeBob’s Under Years, and seasons 1-3 of The Patrick Star Show; theatrical films such as The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie; and more. - SpongeBob theatrical movies – The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water, and The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge on the Run airing Fridays on Nick-at-Nite and streaming on Paramount+.
- Nicktoons channel rebrands to Nick SpongeBob, bringing Bikini Bottom fans a lineup of non-stop SpongeBob SquarePants episodes.
SpongeBob SquarePants voice cast members include Tom Kenny (SpongeBob SquarePants), Bill Fagerbakke (Patrick Star), Rodger Bumpass (Squidward), Clancy Brown (Mr. Krabs), Carolyn Lawrence (Sandy Cheeks) and Mr. Lawrence (Plankton).
The Patrick Star Show stars Fagerbakke (Patrick Star), Tom Wilson (Cecil Star), Cree Summer (Bunny Star), Jill Talley (Squidina Star) and Dana Snyder (GrandPat). Cast members from SpongeBob SquarePants will continue to populate Patrick’s world.
