Paramount+ today announced that Asa Germann (The Boys: Gen V), Kai Caster (Spider-Noir), Lilah Pate (Outer Banks) and Savanna Gann (English Teacher) will join previously announced series lead, executive producer and Oscar® nominee Samuel L. Jackson in the new original series FRISCO KING, the highly anticipated extension of the TULSA KING universe from Oscar® nominee Taylor Sheridan.
Long-time Sheridan collaborators Christina Alexandra Voros and Michael Friedman join the series as directors. Both Voros and Friedman will direct multiple episodes with Voros directing the pilot.
Jackson’s character, Russell Lee Washington Jr., was first introduced in the third season of TULSA KING, which premiered in September exclusively on Paramount+.
FRISCO KING, begins production later this month in Fort Worth, TX. As previously announced, Sheridan will pen all eight episodes of the series’ first season.
Character Descriptions:
Asa Germann will play Teddy, a sharp, savvy, entrepreneurial college dropout who gets Lee’s attention.
Kai Caster will play Keith, a polite valet at the local Sandman Hotel.
Lilah Pate will play London, a local cheerleading goddess recruited by Lee, who’s not afraid to use her good looks to get what she wants.
Savanna Gann will play Avery, a fellow cheerleader and friend of London’s who’s also recruited to join Lee’s crew.

Asa Germann also stars in the hit series The Boys: Gen V and can currently be seen in season 2. He will next be seen in Scream 7 for Paramount Pictures and recently finished shooting a lead role in the independent feature Callback. Germann is currently in production for the feature film New England Toys alongside Willa Fitzgerald, Ruby Cruz, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Paul Sparks. Germann can also be seen in Ryan Murphy & Ian Brennan’s, Dahmer. He is also featured in Variety‘s 2025 Young Hollywood Impact Report.
Kai Caster will next be seen in the highly anticipated series, Spider-Noir opposite Nicolas Cage and Brendan Gleeson. He will also be starring in the lead role in the horror feature film Halloween Store, executive produced by Kenan Thompson, starring opposite Simon Rex, Nicholas Hamilton and Natalie Lind. Additionally, Caster stars as the villain in the thriller Do Not Enter based on the New York Times Bestseller by David Morrell. Previously, Caster heavily recured on Season 5 of Taylor Sheridan's hit show, Yellowstone, playing the rough-and-ready cowboy ‘Rowdy.' Some of Kai’s other television roles include Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story: Apocalypse, New Girl, Shameless, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as well as House of Lies.
Lilah Pate recently starred in the young-adult series The Runarounds. Pate’s television credits also include roles in the massive streaming hits Outer Banks and The Summer I Turned Pretty. Pate can next be seen in Rebel Wilson’s comedy Girl Group alongside Wilson and Jennifer Coolidge. Previously, she starred in the all-star indie feature Driver’s Ed opposite Molly Shannon and Sam Nivola, which premiered at the Toronto Film Festival.
Savanna Gann was most recently seen recurring in both seasons of the comedy series English Teacher. She will next be seen in the Jay Duplass directed dramedy feature See You When I See You, which made its world premiere at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival. Previously, she had a supporting role in Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire and Part Two: The Scargiver. Additional credits include The Family Plan and Tell Me Lies.

The series ANDERSON SPIDER SILVA, nominated for an International Emmy Award in the Best Miniseries category, is now available on the premium streaming platform across Latin America, including Brazil, and all other markets where the service operates, with availability in the United States beginning on March 7.
The launch reinforces Paramount+ as the home of the UFC while showcasing the streaming service’s unique ability to connect premium entertainment with world sports content. By integrating sports and storytelling, ANDERSON SPIDER SILVA strengthens Paramount+’s position as a destination for high-impact sports narratives that resonate with global audiences seeking authentic, inspiring stories.
The series chronicles Anderson’s path to becoming one of the most important athletes in the sport of MMA. Born in São Paulo and raised by his aunt and uncle on the outskirts of Curitiba, Anderson faced a challenging childhood and found in martial arts a transformative path. From an early age, he practiced Taekwondo, Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai, disciplines in which he earned black belts.
The series stars William Nascimento, Bruno Vinicius, and Caetano Vieira portraying Anderson Silva in his adult, teenage, and childhood phases, respectively. The renowned singer and actor Seu Jorge plays the fighter’s uncle, while Tatiana Tiburcio portrays Anderson’s aunt, both responsible for his upbringing. The cast also includes Douglas Silva, Jean Paulo Campos, Jeniffer Dias, Larissa Nunes, Milhem Cortaz, and Vaneza Oliveira.

Nicktoons Global is set to premiere Pinky Malinky on Monday 20th April 2026, our friends over at Insidus are reporting! The series will air weekdays at 14:30 CET, with same day replays at 19:00 CET.

Pinky Malinky is a fly-on-the-wall reality show that follows the everyday life of Pinky, an infectiously positive hot dog living in a human world. With his best friends Babs and JJ by his side, Pinky reaches for the stars in the small town of Sackenhack. Through his good spirits and sausage sensibilities, Pinky proves that a "wiener" is only one small letter away from being a "WINNER!"
The show's official synopsis reads:
In this social media-influenced mockumentary, we follow infectiously positive hotdog Pinky as he and two best friends navigate school life and prove that "wiener" is only one letter away from "WINNER!".
Unfortunately, due to content restrictions, Nicktoons Global won't be able to air the series premiere episode, "Snacks," which, according to Netflix, has scenes of a 'sexual nature' in it. Instead, the first episode Nicktoons will air will be "Pet."
Produced by Nickelodeon, the series was originally greenlit for its linear channels, however, Nickelodeon sold the rights to Netflix in 2018 as part of Paramount's (then called Viacom) initiate to identify intellectual property within it vaults that could be an ideal fit for a digital or linear programmer outside of the company. The series then premiered as a Netflix Original (although still carrying the Nickelodeon branding), with Part One being released on Tuesday, January 1, 2019, followed by Part Two on April 22, 2019, and Part Three on July 17, 2019. As part of the Netflix partnership, the streamer has bowed several Nickelodeon series and movies, including Glitch Techs, Rocko's Modern Life: Static Cling, and Invader ZIM: Enter the Florpus.
However all three Parts of Pinky Malinky are set to leave Netflix on Friday, July 17, 2026.
Using the tropes of a mockumentary and reality show format, Pinky and his friends will talk directly to the camera and the audience to share their absurd and silly take on real life. At times, all children feel like they don't fit in and Pinky's undeniably unique point of view as a literal wiener amongst humans will allow kids to laugh at his familiar struggles and enjoy his unusual perspective on the challenges of being a school-aged kid. By always reaching for the stars, Pinky pushes himself further than anyone could imagine. Pinky and his friends' humorous experiences will also be shared across social media and Nickelodeon's digital platforms.
Co-created and co-executive produced by Chris Garbutt and Rikke Asbjoern (The Amazing World of Gumball) and executive produced by Scott Kreamer (Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness), the trio were part of the Artist Collective, an internal diverse group of experienced creators who mentored and supported up-and-coming talent while also collaborating to cultivate, challenge and inspire Nickelodeon's development pipeline.
Under the deal with Netflix, Nickelodeon produced two seasons — 59 episodes — of Pinky Malinky for the streaming service.
The news follows Sharkdog, which, produced Paramount for Netflix, also airs on Nickelodeon's international channels. Oddly, Pinky Malinky did have a small premiere on Nickelodeon, when it randomly started airing on Nickelodeon in Spain in December 2023.

The theme park will open in 2026 in Frisco, Texas.
Universal Kids Resort will feature seven themed lands including DreamWorks’ Shrek’s Swamp, Jurassic World Adventure Camp, Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants Bikini Bottom, Illumination’s Minions vs. Minions: Bello Bay Club, DreamWorks’ TrollsFest, DreamWorks’ Puss in Boots Del Mar and the Isle of Curiosity.

Jurassic World Adventure Camp
At Jurassic World Adventure Camp, the curious Ankylosaurus, Bumpy, has gone missing, so families will zoom through twists, turns, peaks and valleys on Jurassic World: Cretaceous Coaster to help find her. Mr. DNA’s Double Helix Spin will take families on a twisting and turning journey. Kids and their grown-ups can also enjoy the Pteranodrop, an exciting ride that gives brave adventurers a bird’s eye view of the park from high above.
The Jurassic World Canteen will help tame T. rex-sized appetites for carnivores and herbivores alike. Jurassic World Outfitters will offer families the chance to gear up for some dinosaur-sized adventures with toys, accessories and more. From meeting a newly hatched baby dinosaur to climbing up the Jurassic World Lookout Towers play area or having fun at Paddock Play, kids and their grown-ups will have many ways to explore.
Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants Bikini Bottom
Jellyfish Fields Jamboree will be a vibrant attraction where kids and their families hop aboard their very own Jelly Angler to bounce around with the one and only SpongeBob SquarePants. Barnacle Bus will showcase Bikini Bottom’s sights and residents while Bobbing Barrels will feature water cannons for families to blast water at each other as they spin around. Of course, no day would be complete in Bikini Bottom without a boating lesson, so Mrs. Puff’s Boating School will have the class taking a spin through her specially designed course.
Then for hungry Bikini Bottom visitors, Goofy Goober’s will offer guests chicken sandwiches, salads, hot dogs and sky-high sundaes. A sunken wooden treasure chest will be the home of Barg’N-Mart for all the nautical nonsense anyone could wish for, including sunny day apparel, toys, plush and more. With opportunities to meet SpongeBob SquarePants, Patrick Star and Sandy Cheeks, explore Mussel Beach for some rest and more, it’ll be the best day ever.
DreamWorks’ Shrek’s Swamp
The attraction Shrek & Fiona’s Happily Ogre After will take kids and their families on a special ride through the story of how Shrek met Fiona. Built by Shrek for their triplets, families will ride along to relive the quest to rescue Princess Fiona, with help from Donkey of course.
For ogre-sized appetites, Shrek’s triplets’ favorite eats will be served at Swamp Snacks including the Shrekzel. For swamp apparel, accessories and plush for the whole family, Triplets Treasures will allow parents to shop for themselves along with matching and complementary outfits for their growing ogres. Kids and their grown-ups will also have a chance to meet Shrek and Fiona. Two interactive play areas, Shrek’s Swamp Rompin’ Stomp and Shrek’s Swamp Splash & Smash, will allow kids to stomp and/or splash away.
Illumination’s Minions vs. Minions: Bello Bay Club
Next, guests step into the mayhem of a spirited water battle, full of unexpected surprises that only Illumination’s iconic Minions can deliver. Grab a water blaster and join the action.
A game of golf and a boat cruise are far from relaxing at the Minions Bello Bay Club. Find yourself in the splash zone on the Bello Bay Cruise as you witness the antics between the Yellow Minions and their Purple counterparts.
Then, take the wheel and hold on tight as the competition spins out of control at the Bello Bay Golf Cart Derby.
Choose your side with pride by visiting Bello Bay Boutique and fashion yourself with Team Yellow, Team Purple, and other themed merchandise. And after all that mischief, you can recharge at Bello Bay Bites with some tasty Minion-themed snacks. Capture the fun with photos at the Minion meet and greet, discover playful Minion moments, and experience surprising water features at Illumination’s Minions vs. Minions: Bello Bay Club.
DreamWorks’ TrollsFest
For even more fun, kids and their families can move, giggle and groove at King Trollex Techno Dance Party, an indoor interactive experience, or lead sound check and learn dance moves at a Trolls-themed amphitheater stage show. They can also hop on board Rhonda’s TrollsFest Express to twist and turn through the festival grounds on an armadillo bus ride, and they can soar above TrollsFest on the colorful ride Hair in the Clouds, featuring a mix of flower-faced balloons.
Then for TrollsFest food, Trolls Eatz! will serve up a symphony of flavors in family-approved bites. BroZone Cones will offer ice cream from TrollsFest’s coolest boy band. To get ready to take center stage, Sparkle Shine Glitter Glow will offer the unique Troll-ify Me! experience, the ultimate Trolls makeover for kids’ and grown-ups’ hair to be in the clouds and their sparkles to be loud via headbands, apparel, make-up and more. For those looking for a more subtle look, Mr. Dinkles’ Market will feature colorful, concert-ready t-shirts, souvenirs and more. Families can also meet Poppy, Branch and the rest of the DreamWorks’ Trolls gang, and two interactive play areas, Poppy’s Playland and Trolls Critter Crawl, will offer good Trolls-fashioned fun.
DreamWorks’ Puss in Boots Del Mar
Small heroes unite at DreamWorks’ Puss in Boots Del Mar where Swings Over Del Mar will have guests flying high. Kids and their families can also enjoy Mama Luna’s Adopt a Kitty Day! where they’ll be able to see Puss in Boots in his greatest adventure yet as he returns to the village of Del Mar for a spectacularly silly puppet performance.
For small heroes’ appetites, Comidas y Leche will serve up Puss in Boots’ approved eats. Then, purr-fect apparel awaits in Mercado de Perrito while candies and treats will make Tienda de Dulces the sweetest spot in Del Mar. Families can also meet the fearless hero himself along with Mama Luna, Perrito and friends. In addition to the park’s many play areas, Universal Kids Resort will feature multiple sensory gardens designed to give children and families opportunities to pause, reset, and connect.
Isle of Curiosity
The Isle of Curiosity will serve as the gateway to the other themed lands at Universal Kids Resort. Gabby’s Cat-Tastic Dance Party! will allow kids and their families to boogie with Gabby from DreamWorks’ Gabby’s Dollhouse. Cakey’s Cupcakes will serve up a variety of cupcakes in chocolate, vanilla and rainbow while the Universal Kids Resort Café will be a colorful spot to fuel up whether it’s sitting down and relaxing or grabbing bites for the road. The flagship Universal Kids Resort Store will be the one-stop-shop for gearing up for the day or finding best-of-the best from each themed land and a variety of merch inspired by Gabby’s Dollhouse to dress the part for their meow-zing adventures ahead.

Universal Kids Resort Hotel
As a place to stay and relax just steps away from the park, Universal Kids Resort Hotel was designed with families in mind. Rooms will sleep up to five or six guests. Standard Queen, Deluxe Queen and Signature Queen rooms will each offer a twin-over-full bunk bed and a queen bed. Family suites will offer a king bed in a separate bedroom, a queen pullout sofa and a twin-over-twin bunk bed along with an eating area.
Curiosity Café will be a quick service restaurant offering hotel guests meals throughout the day. A full-service bar, outdoor pool, fitness room and a game room will round out the hotel amenities.

Universal Kids Resort is Coming in 2026 to Frisco, Texas
Universal Kids Resort is a brand-new children-focused theme park and entertainment resort currently under construction in Frisco, Texas. Scheduled to open in May 2026, this 32-acre destination will become the sixth Universal resort worldwide and the third in the United States.
Designed specifically for families with young children, Universal Kids Resort will feature immersive lands inspired by some of Universal’s most popular franchises, including Gabby’s Dollhouse, Trolls, Shrek and Puss in Boots, Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous, SpongeBob SquarePants, and Despicable Me. The resort will also include a five-story, 300-room on-site hotel.
The project was first announced on January 11, 2023, as a brand-new concept resort aimed at younger guests. Construction began in November 2023, with an estimated cost of approximately $ 550 million. The official nameof Universal Kids Resort was revealed on December 1, 2023. The park is timed to open ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will bring major international attention to the region.
The park will feature seven themed lands arranged clockwise from the entrance, offering a mix of family-friendly rides, live entertainment, interactive experiences, and gentle thrills, including swing rides, water attractions, spinning rides, and two junior roller coasters.

Universal Kids Resort represents a major expansion for Universal Destinations and Experiences and marks the company’s first theme park designed entirely for younger guests.
NOW HIRING! Universal Kids Resort has announced its hiring and holding auditions for open positions, according to the WFAA. It will be holding virtual auditions for actors, costumed characters and performers. Those who audition must be older than 18 years old. WFAA reported that callbacks will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on March 9 and 11.
