Some Sky customers will notice changes to the channel numbers of some kids’ channels on their Sky Electronic Programme Guides (EPGs) from Thursday (Oct. 16) morning.
The changes apply to UK and Ireland viewers receiving their satellite channels via Sky Q or Sky+ HD boxes.
Most of the changes are in the channel range 612 – 627, and will affect a few Nickelodeon channels.
The update will eliminate gaps in the Kids section of the EPG that have appeared over time due to the closure of channels, such as CITV.
For Nickelodeon channels: Nick Jr. Too (UK/RoI) will move from channel 613 to 612; Nickelodeon+1 will move from slot 616 to 615; Nick Jr.+1 will move from 622 to 619; Nickelodeon HD (RoI) will move from 623 to 620; Nick Jr. HD (RoI) will move from channel 625 to 622; and Nick Jr. HD (UK) will move from position 645 to 643.
