It's an all-new year, and Paramount+ is kicking things off with plenty of brand new shows, fresh new episodes and all-new movies!
The second season of hit series Landman wraps up its run on Sunday, January 18 following the release of new original film, Scurry, and brand new series Girl Taken. Then, on Thursday, January 15, there’s the premiere of a hotly anticipated new series from the world of Star Trek. Ten episode series Starfleet Academy arrives as the series looks to capture a younger audience with a tale of a group of cadets in the newly reopened Academy on Earth.
Paramount+ will also be adding the hit kids and family movie Smurfs (2025), starring a roster of A-list names, on Thursday, January 15.
Reality TV lovers also have plenty to look forward to this month, including an all-new season of Geordie Shore from Tuesday, January 13, and the brand new series Canada Shore from Thursday, January 22.

The ‘Basic (with ads)’ plan offers fans full access to the ‘Mountain of Entertainment’ on Paramount+ for £4.99 per month in the UK and €5,992 per month in Ireland, enabling streaming on one device at a time, in full HD.
Priced at £10.99 /€11,99 per month, the ‘Premium’ plan delivers an elevated viewing experience, with 4K UHD, HDR10, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos on selected titles. ‘Premium’ plan subscribers are also able to stream on up to four devices concurrently, with the option to download content to watch offline.
The ‘Standard’ plan costs £7.99/ €8,99 per month and offers ongoing access to the entire content offering on Paramount+, for up to two concurrent streams in full HD, with the ability to download and watch on the go.

Meanwhile, Pluto TV, the free streaming service from Paramount, recently added some beloved retro Nickelodeon UK shows, including Sister, Sister, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and Moesha! There's also dedicated live channels for classic animated hits such as Avatar: The Last Airbender, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Garfield & Friends, classic Smurfs, South Park, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Inspector Gadget, Transformers, and Bob the Builder, as well as Teletubbies and Barney & Friends, along with a Retro Toons channel airing Danger Mouse and Count Duckula, and even channels dedicated to paranormal series, including Most Haunted and Ghost Hunters!
