Nickelodeon UK Unveils Pranky April Fools Day Line-Up For Tuesday 1st April 2014

To celebrate April Fools Day 2014 on Tuesday 1st April 2014, Nickelodeon UK and Ireland and Nickelodeon HD UK will be airing a special April Fools Day line-up packed full of some of the most prankiest episodes of popular Nickelodeon shows featuring everybody's favourite Nickelodeon stars showcasing their best pranks, that you'll be an April Fool to miss!


The Big Time Jokes start early at 6:00am when, in the "Big Time Rush" episode "Big Time Pranks", the annual Day of Pranks competition has arrived and the BTR guys pull pranks on each other for the title of "Sir High King Lord of Pranks", until the girls join in too!

Then at 7:00am, after being ridiculed for never pulling a prank, Carly recruits Spencer's help to prank Sam and Freddie, in the "iCarly" episode "iGet Pranky". However, after Spencer gets a taste for it, he can't stop pranking! (Encored at 2:00pm.)

The pranks continue with the "VICTORiOUS" gang at 7:30am with the episode "April Fools Blank", where, it's the first of April at Hollywood Arts, and Tori spends her day expecting pranks and jokes, while being oblivious to a series of absurd events and crazy happenings around her. (Repeated at 10:30am, 1:30pm)

At 8:00am, it's time to join two of Nickelodeon's biggest pranksters, Louie and Frankie, in "The Haunted Hathaways" episode "Haunted Prank", where Louie and Frankie, the ultimate pranksters, go too far with one of their pranks, Michelle and Ray separate the duo until they realize that the two are much better together.

At 8:30am, Fred Figglehorn drinks expired milk and hallucinates that a cow is trying to kill him, in the "Fred: The Show" episode "The Expired Cow"! Will Fred survive the clutches of the evil Cow Man? Probably. (Guest starring Daniella Monet; Encored at 2:30pm). Then, at 8:45am, Fred is assigned a tutor, Eloise, to help him study for his upcoming test, in "The Tutor". When she shows up, Fred thinks she is a Russian spy and tries to expose her even if it means failing his test (repeated at 2:45pm).

At 9:00am, Noah Crawford and Chris O'Neal find the most hilarious web videos, hit the streets to discover swag-tastic talent, and One Direction introduces the latest internet sensation, in "You Gotta See This!" episode "Daring Ducks and Bumbling Bands"!

At 9:30am, things get bloopy in the "iCarly" episode "iBloop", where the cast of "iCarly" introduces exclusive, never-before-seen bloopers, outtakes and mistakes from behind the scenes of their hit Nickelodeon show! Then, at 10:00am, Carly and Spencer are being evicted from their apartment, and the gang reminisces about their time in Bushwell Plaza. Although, their memories may not be quite how we remember them, in "iApril Fools"! (Repeated at 8:00pm)

At 11:00am, Christopher Cane, the actor who plays Rex Powers, Robbie Shapiro's ventriloquist dummy, is our host for an in-depth look into the stars of "Victorious", and their hilarious outtakes, in "Blooptorious".

At 3:00pm, it's time for more Bwaaah-tastic adventures with the "Raving Rabbids" in "Rabbids: Invasion"! The Rabbids drive a hitchhiker crazy in "Stop! No More!", interrupt a janitor's peaceful evening in "Rabbids vs. the Vacuum Cleaner", and run wild in an airport in "Runway Rabbids"!

Then in "Drake & Josh" at 9:00pm, Megan is too busy to harrass the boys, so appoints an assistant, Tyler, to help out. Meanwhile, the boys get a job packing fish at the sushi factory.

Nickelodeon Set To Announce The Pick-Up Of Dan Schneider's Brand-New Pilot

Details, an American monthly men's magazine, is reporting the exciting Nickelodeon News in an article on the magazines official website that Nickelodeon, the number-one entertainment brand for kids and families, is set to announce the pick-up of Dan Schneider's brand-new, still-under-wraps pilot!

"I put everything I had into it," the award-winning Nickelodeon TV show creator says of the series, which will include at least one familiar actor from the 'Schneiderverse', adding "It's maybe my best show".

Dan Schneider signed a brand new three-year development deal with Nickelodeon in February 2013.

Nickelodeon Extends Deadline For Submissions For 2014 International Animated Shorts Program

Alexi Wheeler, the Manager of International Production and Development at Nickelodeon, has announced in a Tweet (post) on his official Twitter profile page, @AlexiWheeler, that Nickelodeon has extended the deadline for the 2014 Nickelodeon International Animated Shorts Program and are now accepting new submissions up until 12:00am (midnight) GMT on Friday 28th March 2014!


After the success of the 2013 International Shorts Program, Nickelodeon is back with Season 2 and are on an ongoing mission to create the funniest animated content for this generation of kids worldwide!

Nickelodeon is looking for your funny, 2-minute animated short ideas which laugh out loud funny, character driven and visually unique!

As part of Nickelodeon International Animated Shorts Program 2014, Nick will choose a minimum of ten pitches to be developed into shorts that will appear on-air and on official Nickelodeon websites globally. These shorts also have the potential of becoming long-form animated series on Nickelodeon. In 2013 Nickelodeon took over 1000 pitches worldwide for the programme.

Ideas will be accepted from a broad pool of creative talent from all quarters including artists, designers, writers, directors and comedians. Creators will be provided with the necessary artistic and production support teams to help them complete their fully animated short. All animation styles are encouraged from 2D, digital 2D, stop motion, CG or mixed media.
