Kenan Thompson On Board With "All That" Reunion
Following Nickelodeon star Nick Cannon recently announcing that a All That reunion could be happening soon, Kenan Thompson has revealed that he would definitely be down to bring the cast back together! Kenan even revealed major scoop on your Nickelodeon favorites, Kenan & Kel and Good Burger!
90’s nostalgia is at an all time high right now, because the dreams of an All That reunion just got a little bit closer to coming true! When HollywoodLife.com caught up with Kenan Thompson, 38, in New York City on Wednesday 30th November 2016, they asked him if he’d ever do an All That reunion. And, drum roll please? — “Of course I would do it!”, Kenan told them!
They informed the SNL veteran that they were recently hanging out with his old All That cast member, Nick Cannon, 36, at the 2016 Nickelodeon HALO Awards, and that Nick had said that fans would definitely be seeing a reunion. “Good for him,” Kenan replied, adding that he didn’t know Nick had revealed such epic news. However, he made fans smile, once again, when he said, “But, I am down.” As HL tried to come back down from cloud 9, Kenan brought the rest of everyone's favorite All That stars into the reunion mix when he dished, that Nick totally knew the rest of the cast would be down, so of course that’s why he would say it. This is amazing.
If you thought that was some good scoop, it gets better. Of course, HL had to take a trip down memory lane with Kenan. They asked the comedian if he’d ever do a Kenan & Kel or Good Burger reunion? And, they received good and not-so-good news…
As for a Good Burger reunion? — Kenan said that he and Kel Mitchell, 38, just did one on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, which was epic by the way. Kenan agreed, and gushed that it was “pretty great.” So, Kenan may be Good Burger-ed out, for now.
BUT, it was the total opposite when it came to a Kenan & Kel reunion! “Yeah, I would love to get back with Kenan & Kel,” he told us. “We’re all very close and we were very lucky growing up that we we were all friends with the people we worked with, and really close,” the actor reminisced, adding, so, to spend a lot of time apart, you know being able to do a reunion, that’s always a nice thing.” AH!
Kenan was at the Cristian Rivera Foundation Gala for pediatric cancer, in NYC when HollywoodLife caught up with him. He told them that the non-profit foundation is very close to him. In fact, Kenan is a committee member. The actor is believes “working to save children’s lives is a very important and inspiring thing.”
All That was one of Nickelodeon’s top 90's shows. The live-action comedy sketch show was famously dubbed the network’s Saturday night Live for their younger audience. It was a Saturday night staple that made comedy goers burst with laugher for about a decade. Different comedy sketches entertained viewers and a slew of hilarious stars like Kenan, Kel, Nick and many more won the hearts of people everywhere. In fact, the hit show also kickstarted the careers of Amanda Bynes, 30, and Jamie Lynn Spears, 25. All That ran from 1994 all the way to Oct., 2005.
There was a glimmer of hope that it could return permanently when Nickelodeon brought it back for reunions in April 2016 on The Splat, and for Nickelodeon's recent The Double Dare Reunion Special. Nonetheless, how amazing would a full-on reunion be?! Fingers crossed we’ll be laughing at the All That cast through the small screen very soon!

Kelsea Ballerini To Guest Star On Nickelodeon's "Blaze And The Monster Machines"
Kelsea Ballerini is getting animated!
The "Peter Pan" singer is lending her voice to an upcoming episode of Nickelodeon's hit preschool series, Blaze and the Monster Machines, playing a plucky Toucan named Tooks. She'll appear as part of a six-episode arc called "Wild Wheels" in 2017 that also features fellow country stars Billy Ray Cyrus and Darius Rucker.
The news comes just after Ballerini scored her very first GRAMMY nomination as one of the 2017 Best New Artist contenders. ET caught up with the 23-year-old singer-songwriter on Thursday to dish on pre-nomination jitters, congratulatory texts from pal Taylor Swift and her red carpet vision for the big day!
ET: You just recorded vocals for Blaze and the Monster Machines. Tell me about that experience in the studio.
Kelsea Ballerini: It's so fun! I mean, I'm in this place in my life where I'm trying to kinda try a lot of new things, because why not? I've always loved animated movies and shows so I was kinda interested for a while in being a part of something like it, and then Nickelodeon reached out about being a part of Blaze and the Monster Machines. I was like, 'How cute is that? Yes, obviously!' And I got there and I was super nervous because I'd never done it before, but I got to be a little toucan! I feel like if I was an actual animal, I would probably be a toucan, so it worked out well.
You're obviously no stranger to being in the studio, but how was this experience different? Were there any unexpected challenges in voicing a character?
What I found was, they just want a very amplified version of yourself. I'm naturally pretty bubbly and all that, so they just wanted that on steroids.
Who is your favorite animated character of all time?
I'm a huge SpongeBob fan! The guy who voices Patrick [Bill Fagerbakke] was actually in the studio yesterday and I had a mini panic attack about it. But I'm also a huge, huge, huge Olaf fan. [laughs] I think Olaf is the absolute cutest character that's ever existed.
More Nick Jr.: Blaze and the Monster Machines ‘Race to the Top of the World’ Official Game Trailer!

NVIDIA GPUs Speed Nickelodeon’s Animation Workflow on "Albert"
Original NVIDIA Press Release via the official NVIDIA Blog:
NVIDIA GPUs Speed Nickelodeon’s Animation Workflow on Albert
L-R: Maisie (Sasheer Zamata), Gene (Judah Friedlander), Cactus Pete (Rob Riggle), and Albert (Bobby Moynihan) in Nickelodeon’s TV movie, Albert.
Albert is Nickelodeon’s first original animated TV movie, telling the story of a tiny Douglas fir tree named Albert who loves Christmas and dreams of being the Empire City Christmas tree. The movie premieres tonight at 7 pm Eastern/Pacific.
Albert was created almost entirely in-house and features a look that is unique to Nickelodeon. Texture artists, lighters and compositors worked on Dell Precision 5810 workstations equipped with NVIDIA Quadro M6000 graphics to bring the story to life. Scenes were rendered using Redshift’s GPU-accelerated renderer.
“The Dell T5810 and Redshift with the NVIDIA Quadro M6000 really came together for us, and allowed our artists to work in a way they’d never been able to before,” said Eric Swanborg, senior director of Digital Operations at Nickelodeon. “They’re able to work in near real time when lighting the scenes they’re working on, which allowed us to create an entirely new pipeline for the way Nickelodeon has traditionally approached animation, giving them much more creative control than they’ve ever had before.”
The animated characters in Albert appear as though you can reach out and touch them — it’s a look somewhere between photorealistic and stop motion. The ability for artists to have near real-time reflections, shadows and interaction was essential to the project.
“We’re trying to make great art as fast as we can and have it look at good as possible. There’s such a depth to everything. That’s what I’m really excited about. I can’t wait for the audience to see it,” said Jason Meyer, a supervising producer at Nickelodeon. “And now what used to take two to three hours to see a final frame is now taking just half an hour.”
Using Redshift with Quadro’s powerful visual computing platform allowed artists to do renders at their desks without having to outsource. Artists are able to see what the scenes looked like before spending the time to render the whole sequence out, which is a significantly faster approach.

A Small Christmas Tree Goes On A Big Adventure In Nickelodeon's "Albert"
Christmas is only a few short weeks away, but one little animated tree has been celebrating for weeks!
Meet Albert, the tiny and hilarious Douglas-Fir-that-could, who dreams of being the Empire City’s most famous Christmas tree. His journey to big city glory comes to life in Albert, Nickelodeon's first animated TV movie, premiering Friday, December 9th at 7 p.m. PT/ET on Nick USA, and on Nickelodeon channels worldwide soon after!
The one-hour, heartwarming tale, is packed with celebrity voices — including Saturday Night Live vet Bobby Moynihan as Albert.
“He’s kind of like the kid in the candy story, but it’s his first time there,” Moynihan told PEOPLE. “He just wakes up every day like, ‘There’s something new?’ Everything about life is amazing about him. He’s always got a good outlook about everything. Very passionate little guy!”
He’s joined by SNL alums Sasheer Zamata, as Albert’s loyal palm tree pal Maisie, and Cheri Oteri as a TV news correspondent.
Working with Moynihan felt comfortable for Zamata.
“He was one of my first friends that I made when I got to [SNL],” she said. “It’s really cool that we get to do something like this together. He has such great energy to bounce off of, it’s been a blast.”
The movie also stars 30 Rock's Judah Friedlander as Gene, the abrasive and blisteringly honest weed, and 21 Jump Street's Rob Riggle as Cactus Pete. Riggle calls his character “misunderstood.”
“He has been wronged repeatedly,” he explained. “He feels that he doesn’t get a fair shake and he’s had enough. So he’s going to take matters into his own hands!”
Directed by Max Lang (The Gruffalo) and written by Will and Aaron Eisenberg (The Massively Mixed-Up Middle School Mystery) and Joe Stillman (Shrek). Will McRobb and Chris Viscardi (The Adventures of Pete & Pete) serve as executive producers.
