YouTube Stars Kian & JC Announce They Won't Be Able To Appear At SLIMEFEST 2016 Australia

U.S. YouTubers Kian & JC have announced the sad news in a post to fans that, due to complications in their schedules and timing, they regrettably have to cancel the Australian leg of their current tour, which unfortunately includes their appearances at both Nickelodeon SLIMEFEST 2016 shows in Melbourne and Sydney:


Now in its fifth year, Nickelodeon’s SLIMEFEST is the only family-friendly music festival of its kind in Australia, featuring live performances, crazy stunts and tonnes of Nickelodeon’s trademark green slime.

SLIMEFEST will be heading to Melbourne on Sunday, 25th September for two shows – 11am and 6pm and Sydney on Friday, 30th September for two shows – 11am and 6pm. The event will also include an outdoor carnival experience before and after the show, featuring rides, games and merchandise available to purchase.

Hosted by Delta Goodrem, Nickelodeon SLIMEFEST 2016 will feature out of this world performances from Omi, Megan Nicole, Havana Brown, G.R.L., In Stereo, and DJs Mashd N Kutcher. Delta will also be performing two of her top hits.

Tickets are on-sale now via SLIMEFEST.COM.AU. Ticket options include: Premium Mosh (mega-slime-action), Standing Floor (moderate-slime-action) and Seated (no-slime-action).

Listen To The Real Timmy Turner on Desiigner's "Timmy Turner" | Fairly OddParents

Following hip hop artist Desiigner confirming that the character in his song "Timmy Turner" is based on himself, and not the titular character in Nickelodeon's magical Emmy Award winning animated series The Fairly OddParents, fans have been sending their wishes to Cosmo and Wanda asking to hear the "actual" Timmy Turner hop on the track, and it's finally happened... sort of!


In a Vine video from Thomas Sanders, he is listening to the track when he wonders aloud what would make the song better. The camera then pans to voice actress Tara Strong, who voices Timmy Turner on the hit Nicktoon series, who raps, "Timmy Timmy Timmy Turner"! Getting Strong to really contribute to the song is a much bigger get than Kanye West joining in on the remix, so if you're seeing this, Desiigner... please make it happen.

C.H. Greenblatt Announces "Harvey Beaks" To End After Season Two

Cartoonist C.H. Greenblatt, the creator of Harvey Beaks, has announced the unfortunate news during a interview on the latest episode of the 60-Pizza Party Podcast that Harvey Beaks will be ending after the popular Nicktoons' second season.


During the interview, Carl revealed that its his decision not to make a third season of Harvey Beaks, and promises fans that the series finale of Harvey Beaks, which the production crew is currently working on, will be massive and epic.

BURBANK, Calif.–Sept. 13, 2016– Nickelodeon today announced superstar Gwen Stefani’s animated series Kuu Kuu Harajuku will premiere exclusively on the network in the U.S. beginning Monday, Oct. 3, at 4 p.m. (all times ET/PT). The 26-episode series, co-created and executive produced by Stefani, follows the kuu kuu adventures of the band HJ5 -- Love, Angel, Music, Baby and G -- through their super cute world of music, fashion and style. Kuu Kuu Harajuku will air at 4 p.m. through Friday, Oct. 7, and continue with premieres in its regular timeslot of Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. on Nickelodeon.

Kuu Kuu Harajuku follows Love, Angel, Music, Baby and their inspirational leader, G, as they form the super-talented band, HJ5. Thanks to their manager Rudie, angry aliens, NoFun politicians, hungry monster pets, and other obstacles, every gig is interrupted and the girls never get to complete a concert -- but G and her friends never give up.

Ride stars Kendra Timmins (Degrassi: The Next Generation) as Kit, Jonny Gray (Max & Shred) as Josh, Rameet Rauli as Anya, Oliver Dench as Will, Manuel Pacific as Nav, and Alana Boden (Wolfblood, Mr Selfridge) as Elaine.

Commissioned by Nickelodeon and YTV and produced by Canada's Breakthrough Entertainment and the UK's Buccaneer Media, the 20x30-minute show, formally titled Let It Ride, is created by Jill Girling (Life with Derek) and Lori Mather-Welch (Would Be Kings, Queer As Folk). Executive producers for Breakthrough are Joan Lambur, Ira Levy, Peter Williamson, Michael McGuigan, Nat Abraham and Shelley Scarrow. Tony Wood (House of Anubis) is executive producing for Buccaneer. The series was cast by KM Casting. The series was filmed in Toronto and on location in Northern Ireland.

Prattville, Al To Host Nickelodeon Worldwide Day Of Play Event On 9/17

For the 6th year, the City of Prattville, Alabama is joining Nickelodeon, the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, the President's Council on Fitness, Sports & Nutrition, and the National Park Foundation in celebrating the Worldwide Day of Play event. In honor of the day, the city will be holding a fun event for the children at the Pratt Park Amphitheatre.


The Parks and Recreation Department has planned a carnival themed event that will encourage kids to get up and get active during the Worldwide Day of Play event in the City of Prattville! The Carnival will include water bucket musical chairs, football toss, face painting, balloon darts and more, and prizes will be provided. The city encourages all kids K-6th grades to come out and participate.

The event will take place at the Amphitheatre at Pratt Park from 2pm-5pm. For more information, call the Parks and Recreation Department at (334) 595-0800.

This summer, Nickelodeon celebrated kids' love of play by holding "Road to Worldwide Day of Play" events in six cities across the USA (Las Vegas, Nevada; Kalamazoo, Michigan; Jacksonville, Florida; Dallas, Texas; Far South Side, Chicago; and Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) with a record number of kids and partners to encourage kids to get outside and get active. The initiative will culminate with Nickelodeon's 13th annual "Worldwide Day of Play" event on Saturday 17th September 2016, when the network will suspend programming from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. (ET/PT) and host grassroots activities with its partners across the U.S. to celebrate play in order to encourage kids to get up, get out and get active.
