2014 "Nickelodeon HALO Awards" Draws 3 Million For Nick USA, Posts Double-Digit Gains From Last Year

Nickelodeon, the number-one entertainment brand for kids and families, has announced the exciting Nickelodeon Ratings News in the following press release, from TVByTheNumbers.com, that the 2014 "Nickelodeon HALO Awards" capped off the Thanksgiving weekend on a high note, scoring the show's biggest audience ever! The Sunday night concert special, which was road-blocked across Nickelodeon USA, Nicktoons and TeenNick on 30th November 2014, drew 3 million total viewers, posting double-digit gains over last year on Nickelodeon and Nicktoons and triple-digit increases on TeenNick.


A pro-social awards event driven by one-of-a-kind music performances, the 2014 "HALO Awards" drew 2.4 million viewers on Nickelodeon and posted double-digit year over year (YOY) increases with kids 2-11 (4.6/1.4M, +29%), kids 6-11 (6.4/1.2M, +37%) and tweens 9-14 (4.5/871K, +57%). The show also drove double and triple-digit increases on Nicktoons (+91% with K6-11) and TeenNick (+239% with T12-17).

Pop superstars Nick Jonas, Jessie J, Meghan Trainor, Echosmith, The Vamps and Fifth Harmony performed their chart-topping hits at the "Nickelodeon HALO Awards", an hour-long concert special celebrating kids who are "Helping and Leading Others" (HALO) in their communities. Led by host, creator and executive producer Nick Cannon, the star-studded musical event was held at New York's Pier 36 and was capped by an all-star finale featuring powerhouse hip hop group The Roots.

The show also featured special appearances by Zendaya, Victoria Justice and Carlos PenaVega, along with stars from Nick's hit series "Instant Mom" (Sydney Park), "The Thundermans" (Jack Griffo, Kira Kosarin), "The Haunted Hathaways" (Benjamin Flores Jr. and Breanna Yde) and "Victorious" (Leon Thomas and Matt Bennett).

Nick Jr. UK To Premiere Three Brand-New "Lily's Driftwood Bay" Winter Specials On Wednesday 3rd December 2014

The Belfast-based independent children's television production company SixteenSouth Television has announced the exciting news on their official Twitter profile page, @SixteenSouth, that Nickelodeon UK and Ireland's preschool channel, Nick Jr. UK and Ireland, will premiere and show three brand-new Winter-themed episodes of the popular mixed media animated preschool series "Lily's Driftwood Bay" on Wednesday 3rd December 2014!


According to the "What's On" schedule section on nickjr.co.uk, Nick Jr. UK will debut all three episodes from 9:00am (repeated from 10:00am on Nick Jr+1) on Wednesday 3rd December 2014. Following each episodes premiere, Nick Jr. UK will encore all three episodes the same day from 1:30pm (2:30pm on Nick Jr+1) and on Thursday 4th December 2014 from 9:30am and 2pm (10:30am and 3pm on Nick Jr+1).

In the first all-new Winter episode of "Lily's Driftwood Bay", "Winter Games", Bull is determined to win a medal at the Driftwood Bay winter games. In the second brand-new Wintery episode, "Snowy Sheep Chase", a stray sheep leads Lily and Salty deep into a snow storm. Then, in the third all-new episode, "Christmas Kerfuffle", everyone is preparing the Cockle Cafe for a celebration when disaster strikes!

Nick Jr. UK keeps the festive fun going after the premiere of the all-new "Lily's Driftwood Bay" Christmas specials with a selection box of Christmas-themed episodes of "Zack and Quack" and "Thomas and Friends" all this week at 9am (10am on Nick Jr.+1)!

NickToons UK To Premiere "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" Season Two Finale On Saturday 13th And Sunday 14th December 2014

The online British and Irish TV guide website Digiguide is reporting the Booyakasha TMNT News that Nicktoons UK and Ireland, Nickelodeon UK's animation and action channel, will premiere and show the special two-part season two finale episode of Nickelodeon's hit CG-animated "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" television series, titled "The Invasion", in two parts over the weekend of Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th December 2014!


According to Digiguide, Nicktoons UK will premiere "The Invasion" part one on Saturday 13th December 2014 at 9:30am, with a encore at 5:30pm, and "The Invasion" part two on Sunday 14th December 2014 at 9:30am, with a repeat at 5:30pm.

In the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" season two finale, Leo and Donnie disagree about their plan to stop the Kraang invasion. Meanwhile, Donnie must step up as a leader when Leo makes a critical mistake and is separated from the team.

Following the UK debut of the second season finale of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", Nicktoons UK will begin to encore season two of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" every weekend at 9:30am and repeat TMNT season one every weekend at 5:30pm from Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st December 2014.

Nicktoons UK will start to premiere and show the explosive third season of "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" series from February 2015, as part of 2015 on Nickelodeon UK!
