Nicktoons UK To Premiere Brand-New "Rabbids Invasion" Halloween Special On Monday 27th October 2014

Beware of creatures that go Bwaah in the night... The online British and Irish TV guide website Digiguide is reporting the fang-tastic Nick UK news that Nicktoons UK and Ireland, Nickelodeon UK's animation and action channel, will premiere and show the spooktacular brand-new Halloween-themed episode of Nickelodeon and Ubisoft's popular CG-animated series "Rabbids Invasion" titled "Vampire Rabbid/Rabbid Halloween/Zombie Rabbid" on Monday 27th October 2014 at 2:30pm!


In the all-new "Rabbids: Invasion" Halloween special, the Raving Rabbids experiment with an instant growth tonic in 'Vampire Rabbid', try their hand at trick or treating in 'Rabbid Halloween', and find that rotten donuts have odd effects in 'Zombie Rabbid'.


Following the debut of the brand-new "Rabbids: Invasion" Halloween special, Nicktoons UK & Eire will encore "Vampire Rabbid; Rabbid Halloween; Zombie Rabbid" on Friday 31st October 2014 at 2:30pm, as part of the channels' spooktacular Halloween highlights!

Nick Jr. Australia & New Zealand To Premiere "Dora and Friends: Into the City!" On Monday 3rd November 2014

Nick Jr. Australia & New Zealand has announced the exciting news in a promo on their official website that Nickelodeon Australia and New Zealand's local version of the popular preschool channel will start to premiere and show "Dora and Friends: Into the City!", a brand new animated spin-off series from Nickelodeon's massively popular animated preschool series "Dora the Explorer", from Monday 3rd November 2014 (transmission (TX) air time to be announced)!


To celebrate the Australian and Kiwi launch of "Dora and Friends", Nick Jr. AU/NZ's official website, nickjr.com.au, has unveiled the channels official "Dora and Friends" show website which features information about the series, a fantastic selection of online streaming video clips to watch and a great range printables to download, including e-books which introduces each of Dora's new friends, plus bookmarks, games, puzzles, stationary, calenders, colouring in sheets, paper dolls and pencil toppers!


"Dora and Friends: Into the City!" is a brand-new half-hour animated series (20 episodes) featuring the iconic character Dora living in a city, attending school and at the center of a peer group that works together to give back to the community - having both real-life and magical adventures along the way.

Set in the fictional city of Playa Verde, Dora and her friends go on adventures, whether it's rescuing a lost stuffed monkey for a little boy in the hospital or returning a ring to an ancient Mayan Princess. Throughout her journeys, Dora uses Map App on her smartphone and a magical charm bracelet to navigate the city and overcome any obstacle. In the new series, Dora continues to be a good friend, leader, and problem-solver with a group of new friends–Kate, Naiya, Emma, Alana and Pablo-who share her passion for learning and exploring.

Developed with the support of educational experts and tested by preschoolers themselves, "Dora and Friends" is set to a contemporary soundtrack of Latin-influenced pop music and features an interactive curriculum focusing on community service, problem solving, emotional skills, Spanish language and Latino culture. Viaplay Acquires Video-On-Demand Rights To Raft Of Popular Nickelodeon Shows For Nordic Region

The Sweden-based international entertainment group Modern Times Group has announced the exciting Nickelodeon Europe news in the following press release, from MTG's official website, that the Swedish media company's Viaplay has secured the exclusive stand-alone video on demand (VOD) rights to a raft of programming from Nickelodeon, the number-one entertainment brand for kids and families, in the Nordic region until 2020! The deal makes Viaplay's kids offering the strongest in the region and viewers will have access to thousands of episodes and movies every month.


Starting Wednesday 1st October 2014, all Viaplay subscribers in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland have exclusive access to a huge selection of hit live-action and animated Nickelodeon series. The content's appeal spans pre-schoolers to young teenagers (tweens). Top titles include all seasons of animated favourites "Dora the Explorer", "SpongeBob SquarePants" and "The Penguins of Madagascar", and popular live action series "Victorious" and "iCarly".

MTG’s Viaplay has secured the exclusive stand-alone video on demand rights to programming from top children's entertainment brand Nickelodeon in the Nordic region until 2020. This will make Viaplay’s kids offering the strongest in the region and viewers will have access to thousands of episodes and movies every month.

From 1 October all Viaplay subscribers in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland will have exclusive access to animations and live action series from Viacom’s Nickelodeon. The content’s appeal spans pre-schoolers to young teenagers (tweens). Top titles include all seasons of kids' animated favourites Dora the Explorer, SpongeBob SquarePants and The Penguins of Madagascar, and live action series Victorious and iCarly aimed at tweens.
