Nickelodeon International to Premiere New 'Big Nate' Season Two Episodes In August 2026

Big Nate returns! Nickelodeon International will be premiering brand new episodes of Big Nate season two across its Nickelodeon Global Unlimited feed daily 00:20 CET starting Friday 21st August 2026!

'Big Nate' season two

The newly-formed Nickelodeon Global Unlimited feed is currently available in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), South Africa, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Portugal.

The news is somewhat surprising, as Nickelodeon cancelled Big Nate, produced as a Paramount+ Original, mid-way through its second season in 2024, with the series pulled from Nickelodeon and Paramount+, both in the U.S. and internationally (where Paramount+ is available). The series later became available, complete with its unaired episodes, on Apple TV and Amazon Prime Video.

However, the return of Big Nate shouldn't be a complete surprise, as Nickelodeon International recently aired seasons two and three of Rugrats (2021), another Nickelodeon-produced Paramount+ Original series that was cancelled and pulled at the same time as Big Nate, which included the world premieres of many episodes.

In new episodes of the Emmy® nominated series, Nate Wright and his misfit group of friends tackle new adventures, face epic challenges and unleash their boundless imaginations at P.S. 38. This new season pushes the boundaries of visual creativity, featuring episodes with animation styles including stop-motion, shadow box theater, photogrammetry and claymation. With laughter, friendship and heaps of Nate's signature mischief, season two promises to be bigger, bolder, and funnier than ever.

In season two of Big Nate, with his extended family now in the picture, Nate Wright is tasked with embracing their cooky dynamics and checkered history while trying to win over the hearts of new crushes, forge new friendships, and even come to grips with some new critics.

At the time of posting, Nickelodeon International will be skipping three episodes in the new batch of Big Nate season two episodes: the Thanksgiving-themed "NATESgiving" (#216), the episode "Norchaborf", and the series finale, "Fuller House".

Below is a list of the currently scheduled all-new Big Nate episodes set to premiere on Nickelodeon International in August 2026.

Please note that, as a broadcast day runs from 6:00am-5:59am, each new episode will technically air as part of the previous day's schedule.

Friday 21st August 2026 - Nate Wright Has Left The Building: When Nate finds out he's moving away he wants the people of Rackleff to remember him fondly. Meanwhile, Amy's best friend tells her she's changed since leaving NYC so Amy is determined to prove her wrong. (#214)

Saturday 22nd August 2026 - Speed Bump Brawl: When a dispute over a speed bump at school divides the parents, Nate and Francis' friendship is tested. Chad is Kid Principal for the day but must navigate the chaos by himself when Nichols gets put out of commission. (#215)

Sunday 23rd August 2026 - Field of Nightmares: When Nate is made captain of the P.S. 38 baseball team only days before the Rackleff County Championship game, he pushes his team too hard on the path to victory. Meanwhile Francis conquers a sports related phobia. (#217)

Monday 24th August 2026 - Exes Machina: Nate is determined to win the EEW Corp science competition so he can snag the grand prize, but he is up against Nolan and his genius friends who have a few tricks up their sleeves. Francis grapples with facing his exes. (#218)

Nate and Francis enter a contest for tickets to Eew Corp Land. Nolan plans to outdo Nate, hiring Francis' exes to trip up Francis. It works. Francis never broke up with them, too afraid of confrontation. Nate needs Francis, so pressures him to build a robot to help with his relationship issues AND win top prize. The impressive ROBO-RITA wins over the judges, but also Francis' heart. So when the judges steal Rita to mass-produce her, Nate has to step up. He and Francis sneak into Eew Corp but run into Francis' exes, now interning at Eew. Still angry, they're about to report the break-in when Francis cops to his mistakes, vowing to be direct. He's forgiven, but not before Robo Rita sacrifices herself, deeming their love doomed in this corrupt world. Principal Nichols holds his own contest for the teachers to chaperone the trip should P.S. 38 win, which he's hoping won't happen. To curry favor, they shower him with gifts and services. But when P.S. 38 wins and Nichols breaks his word, it's his turn to give in to THEIR requests.

Tuesday 25th August 2026 - Scarytale Endings: With a huge haul of Halloween candy on the line, Nate makes a bet with Teddy to prove there's no such thing as ghosts. After Principal Nichols backs into a child's bike, he tries to bury the guilt. But it follows him everywhere... (#219)

Wednesday 26th August 2026 - Rackleff's A Dump: Nate's excited to collaborate with Ruby on an anti-trash art project but his desperate desire to impress her may get HIM dumped. Meanwhile, Gina and Nichols' single-use product addictions spiral out of control. (#220)

After a hole in the ozone layer appears directly over Rackleff, Mayor Klatchko issues a mandate to measure every school's trash output. Nate isn't worried. He stores all of his trash in his infinite locker so he's fine. He's got more important things to worry about anyway. Nate has a new girlfriend, Ruby! Environmental enthusiast Ruby suggests the kids create art out of trash for the town's Earth Day festival and Nate hopes to impress her with his artistic skills. Unfortunately, Nate loses Ruby's expensive dental retainer in the process, trapping it inside his artwork which is now in the clutches of his nemesis, Gina. Gina and Principal Nichols are harboring a dirty secret: they are addicted to earth destroying single use products and desperate for a place to stash their trash. When Nate reveals his secret garbage hiding spot to them in exchange for the retainer, both his locker and his relationship with Ruby explode.

Thursday 27th August 2026 - Nate Eat World: When a heartbroken Nate sings at the talent show auditions, it's so well received that he must stay down in the dumps or risk losing the band's success. Dee Dee's lack of painful life experiences impacts a performance. (#221)

It's time for P.S. 38's annual talent show and Fear the Mollusk is ready to show the school what they've got. Unfortunately, Nate just got dumped by his latest love, Ruby, and can barely hold himself, much less his drumsticks, upright. Francis, Teddy and Artur encourage Nate to channel his pain into music and Nate takes this advice to heart. He takes the stage and turns the band's latest song into an emo love ballad. The students of P.S. 38 go GAGA for Emo Nate and the band becomes an overnight sensation. Even Ruby is wowed. She had no idea Nate was so complex! But when Nate's heart begins to heal, he must choose between his thriving love life and emo career versus being his authentic happy self. Meanwhile, Dee Dee is excited to show off her acting chops at the talent show but some feedback from Dr. LaGaze has her contemplating if she has experienced enough personal turmoil to deliver powerful performances. To remedy this, Dee Dee tries to start real drama with her nearest and dearest.

Friday 28th August 2026 - Carlottha the Sloth-A: Nate finds a sloth in his backyard and campaigns for a way to keep her as a pet. Meanwhile, Teddy is suspicious and investigates how an exotic animal randomly showed up in Rackleff. (#222)

Saturday 29th August 2026 - The Unsittable One: When Ellen loses her babysitting job to a group of teenage triplets, Nate rallies his friends to bring down this ruthless babysitting monopoly! But to do so, Nate must tap into the dangerous power of the 'Unsittable One". (#223)

Sunday 30th August 2026 - Extreme Makeover: Gym Teacher Edition: After Nate's given detention for an epic prank, he offers to help Coach John impress his former classmates at a reunion in exchange for a reduced sentence. Gina is horrified to learn she's been voted "most boring" kid in class. (#225)

Big Nate is based on the best-selling children’s books and comic strip written and drawn by acclaimed author and cartoonist Lincoln Peirce.

The series stars Ben Giroux (Nate Wright), Dove Cameron (Ellen Wright), Rob Delaney (Martin Wright), Bryce Charles (Dee Dee Holloway), Daniel MK Cohen (Francis Pope), Arnie Pantoja (Teddy Ortiz), Charlie Schlatter (Chad Applewhite), Ali Stroker (Amy), Kevin Michael Richardson (Principal Nichols), Carolyn Hennesy (Mrs. Godfrey), Nik Dodani (Randy), Betsy Sodaro (Kim), Lisa Kay Jennings (Gina), Chandni Parekh (Jenny), Todd Haberkorn (Artur), Ryan Garcia (Mr. Rosa), Mike Rivkin (Mr. Galvin), and Chester Rushing (Zeff).

Joining Big Nate this season are guest stars Laraine Newman (Ridley Jones) as Marge, Nate’s grandma whose misguided optimism has clearly been inherited by her grandson; Matthew Lillard (Scooby-Doo) as Agent Fish, one of Nate’s comic character creations – an anxious FBI agent with a literal fish head; JB Blanc (Barry) as Agent Moose, one of Nate’s comic character creations – a confident FBI agent with a literal moose head; Maya Aoki Tuttle (Spidey and His Amazing Friends) as Cammie, the kind of popular kid who actually has confidence; and Stephanie Sheh (Royal Crackers) as Ruby, the new kid at P.S. 38 and Nate’s dream girl, but he doesn’t know that yet.

BIG NATE is executive produced by Mitch Watson (All Hail King Julien) and John Cohen (The Angry Birds Movie) and produced by Amy McKenna (Beware the Batman) and Patrick Inness (The Adventures of Kid Danger) with Lincoln Peirce serving as consulting producer throughout development and production. Bridget McMeel is co-producer and Jim Mortensen is supervising producer.

Nickelodeon International to Premiere 'Sonic Prime' In June 2026

Nickelodeon International will premiere Sonic Prime, the hit CG-animated adventure series based on the iconic Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, across its Nickelodeon Global Unlimited feed, currently available in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE), South Africa, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Portugal, in June 2026! The news follows the series debuting on Nickelodeon's international Nicktoons feeds last year.

Sonic Prime will air weekdays at 11:00 CET on Nickelodeon Global Unlimited.

Sonic Prime

In Sonic Prime, the action-packed adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog go into overdrive when a run-in with Dr. Eggman results in a literal universe-shattering event. Desperate to piece his prime reality back together and save his old friends, Sonic races through the Shatterverse, discovering strange worlds and enlisting new friends in an epic adventure of a lifetime.

Co-produced by SEGA and WildBrain, Sonic Prime was animated at WildBrain’s Vancouver studio, with SEGA and WildBrain jointly participating across production, distribution and licensing. SEGA represents licensing for Sonic Prime in North America, LatAm and Japan, while WildBrain CPLG represents the brand in the rest of the world.

Sonic Prime comes to Nickelodeon as part of a partnership between Paramount and WildBrain to bring the hit series to the top kids’ entertainment channel. The agreement saw 22 half-hour episodes and one hour-long special of Sonic Prime launch on Nickelodeon in the US and Australia on December 7, followed by Italy (on Super!, Paramount's free-to-air kids channel) on December 23, Nickelodeon UK & Ireland on January 20, and on Nickelodeon Germany on March 1. The series has since rolled out on Nickelodeon and Nicktoons channels globally.

When the partnership was first announced, Katie Wilson, VP Global Sales and Acquisitions at WildBrain, said: “SEGA’s Sonic the Hedgehog is one of today’s most popular entertainment brands. Sonic Prime is a huge hit with fans and a terrific example of how, at WildBrain, we are able to partner with IP owners to drive engagement for brands. With their strong track record of Sonic content across highly popular live-action feature films and their Knuckles series, Paramount is the ideal partner to extend Sonic Prime’s popularity with new audiences around the world on Nickelodeon.”

Layla Lewis, Senior Vice President, Global Acquisitions and Content Partnerships at Nickelodeon, said: “The Sonic the Hedgehog universe has captivated the hearts of millions around the globe. We are thrilled to partner with WildBrain to bring the series to life on Nickelodeon channels, delivering an action-packed experience that will enthrall audiences around the world.”

Ivo Gerscovich, Senior Vice President and Chief Business and Brand Officer of Sonic, Head of SEGA® Brands, said: “Sonic Prime captivated the Sonic community and audiences worldwide when it was released. Making our content as accessible as possible to our dedicated fanbase is something we always strive for and being able to bring Sonic Prime to more viewers worldwide is the perfect way to make that come to fruition.”

Nicktoons Global is set to premiere Pinky Malinky on Monday 20th April 2026, our friends over at Insidus are reporting! The series will air weekdays at 14:30 CET, with same day replays at 19:00 CET.

NickToons Global is available in Hungary, Romania, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Poland, France, Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, Russia, Adria countries (Croatia, Serbia and Slovenia), Africa, Turkey, Arabia, France (as Nickelodeon Toon), across Asia. and more.

Pinky Malinky is a fly-on-the-wall reality show that follows the everyday life of Pinky, an infectiously positive hot dog living in a human world. With his best friends Babs and JJ by his side, Pinky reaches for the stars in the small town of Sackenhack. Through his good spirits and sausage sensibilities, Pinky proves that a "wiener" is only one small letter away from being a "WINNER!"

The show's official synopsis reads:

In this social media-influenced mockumentary, we follow infectiously positive hotdog Pinky as he and two best friends navigate school life and prove that "wiener" is only one letter away from "WINNER!".

Unfortunately, due to content restrictions, Nicktoons Global won't be able to air the series premiere episode, "Snacks," which, according to Netflix, has scenes of a 'sexual nature' in it. Instead, the first episode Nicktoons will air will be "Pet."

Update (14/6) - Nickelodeon Asia will air Pinky Malinky from August 2026.

Produced by Nickelodeon, the series was originally greenlit for its linear channels, however, Nickelodeon sold the rights to Netflix in 2018 as part of Paramount's (then called Viacom) initiate to identify intellectual property within it vaults that could be an ideal fit for a digital or linear programmer outside of the company. The series then premiered as a Netflix Original (although still carrying the Nickelodeon branding), with Part One being released on Tuesday, January 1, 2019, followed by Part Two on April 22, 2019, and Part Three on July 17, 2019. As part of the Netflix partnership, the streamer has bowed several Nickelodeon series and movies, including Glitch Techs, Rocko's Modern Life: Static Cling, and Invader ZIM: Enter the Florpus.

However all three Parts of Pinky Malinky are set to leave Netflix on Friday, July 17, 2026.

Using the tropes of a mockumentary and reality show format, Pinky and his friends will talk directly to the camera and the audience to share their absurd and silly take on real life. At times, all children feel like they don't fit in and Pinky's undeniably unique point of view as a literal wiener amongst humans will allow kids to laugh at his familiar struggles and enjoy his unusual perspective on the challenges of being a school-aged kid. By always reaching for the stars, Pinky pushes himself further than anyone could imagine. Pinky and his friends' humorous experiences will also be shared across social media and Nickelodeon's digital platforms.

Co-created and co-executive produced by Chris Garbutt and Rikke Asbjoern (The Amazing World of Gumball) and executive produced by Scott Kreamer (Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness), the trio were part of the Artist Collective, an internal diverse group of experienced creators who mentored and supported up-and-coming talent while also collaborating to cultivate, challenge and inspire Nickelodeon's development pipeline.

Pinky Malinky stars Lucas Grabeel (Glenn Martin DDS, I Kissed A Vampire) as Pinky Malinky, Diamond White (The Haunted Hathaways) as Babs Buttman, and Nathan Kress (iCarly) as JJ Jameson.

Under the deal with Netflix, Nickelodeon produced two seasons — 59 episodes — of Pinky Malinky for the streaming service.

The news follows Sharkdog, which, produced Paramount for Netflix, also airs on Nickelodeon's international channels. Oddly, Pinky Malinky did have a small premiere on Nickelodeon, when it randomly started airing on Nickelodeon in Spain in December 2023.

'Max & the Midknights' Renewed for Season Four

Nickelodeon’s CG-animated series Max & the Midknights has been renewed for a third season!

'Max & the Midknights' season one key art

Based on the best-selling children's books by acclaimed author and cartoonist Lincoln Peirce (Big Nate), the medieval action-adventure comedy series follows Max, a determined 10-year-old girl with big dreams of becoming a knight, as she leads her friends on epic adventures filled with excitement, bravery, and lots of fun. In season three, Max and the Midknights embark on a quest to help a neighboring kingdom of gnomes and discover that their own kingdom could be in danger.

Update (2/13) - It appears that Max & the Midknights season three may be the show's final season. In an Instagram post, Chris Perry, an assistant director on the series, said:

Goodbye @nickelodeon and #maxandthemidknights
It’s been a magical four years of breaking new ground and telling an amazing story!

“Got a feeling that it might be time for me to find my own way”

Of course, at this time of writing, it's important to note that Max & the Midknights may not be canceled, and Chris has left the show to work on other projects.

Update (3/29) - Max & the Midknights has reportedly been renewed to at least season four, which may feature the latter 10 episodes originally produced for season two before Nickelodeon started splitting seasons into halves.

Update (6/12) - Max & the Midknights has been renewed for season four, Paramount has confirmed!

Max & the Midknights will premiere on the Nickelodeon Global pan-regional feed on Wednesday 3rd December 2025, with new episodes airing daily until Saturday 6th December 2025 at 9:40pm CET.

A Restless Knight, Part One: After a raucous season one, Max & the Midknights are back and ready for action! There's just one problem-Byjovia is quiet! Too quiet... (#301; season three premiere)*

*Season one of Max & the Midknights was split into two seasons, so "season one" in the episode's synopsis means both seasons one and two.

After defeating Fendra and Gastley, Max & The Midknights are living their best lives in Byjovia. Max is in training in knight school, Kevyn runs the royal library, Simon helps animals in need, Millie is in training with Mumblin, and Uncle Budrick is the royal troubadour. Although things seem perfect, Max is itching to go on another quest. When a wild beast known as a Clatterback shows up in Byjovia and threatens to do major damage, Max saves the day, making it even more apparent that she really wants to be out on the road helping people. Her desire for a new adventure is answered when Queen Nerelia of Tresk shows up begging for help.

A Restless Knight, Part Two: When the Gnomes of Tresk are kidnapped by a mysterious evil, Max & the Midknights volunteer to save them, but Max's plans for her second quest go awry when she learns not all the Midknights are as eager as she is to go on the mission. (#302)

When the Gnomes of Tresk are kidnapped by a mysterious evil, Max & the Midknights volunteer to save them. Max is thrilled to go on a new quest, but her plans go awry when she learns that Simon doesn't want to go. Having just settled into Byjovia with his new family, Simon would rather stay home. Despite feeling sad, the Midknights tell him that they understand how he feels. Sadly, Mumblin must also sit out the journey after an accidental tumble down the library steps leaves him in a full body cast. The Midknights set sail down two members. The morning they leave though, Simon has a change of heart. With the help of his animal patients, Simon rushes to the docks to try and catch the Midknights before they sail away from Byjovia. As Simon nears the ship, he and the Midknights are confronted by the angry Clatterback. In the nick of time, Simon convinces the animal to let them go. Simon tells the Midknights that he has changed his mind. They are his family and he's going on this quest with them.

The Spirit of the Sea: As Max and the Midknights sail across the sea on their quest, they get spooked when Uncle Budrick claims there's a ghost on board their ship! Meanwhile, Mumblin fears someone is out to get him. (#303)

As the Midknights sail across the sea on their latest quest, Max realizes the gang might be a little rusty. Kevyn and Millie aren't seeing eye to eye, Simon is preoccupied helping his animal clients from long distance, and Uncle Budrick is terribly seasick! However, Max is certain she can get them working as a team. But when Uncle Budrick is spooked by something sinister in the shadows below deck, he is convinced he saw a ghost! Determined to get back on mission, Max leads the charge to search the ship and find whatever mysterious presence might be haunting them. They soon find there's no ghost at all-they've been spooked by a stowaway, the former King of Byjovia, Gastley! But as the Midknights are distracted, the ship veers off course and into a powerful storm! They quickly realize they must act as a team in order to steady the ship before it capsizes! Meanwhile, back in Byjovia, Mumblin fears someone might be behind his recent spate of accidents, and takes matters into his own hands...

The Trial of Mumblin the Magician: After being blown off course, the Midknights navigate a set of treacherous waterfalls as they try to reach the Gnomes of Tresk. Meanwhile, Mumblin pleads for his freedom in Wizard Court where the odds are stacked against him. (#304)

When the Midknights' ship is set off course, the team must survive treacherous new waters. Before Max can enact her plan, she is summoned to Wizard Court where Mumblin is on trial for his life. Max must help Mumblin prove that he is a good wizard and that he escaped the afterlife to help the Midknights defeat Fendra. If Max can't, Mumblin will be sent away for good. Max calls on the Midknights to testify on Mumblin's behalf. When those attempts fail, Max takes the stand. At first, Max's emotional testimony seems to win over the court, but her pleas for Mumblin's freedom backfire and Mumblin is ultimately found guilty. Luckily, Kevyn discovers a way to save Mumblin. Max must battle the Worms of Justice and if she wins, then Mumblin will be set free. Transported to a desert, Max battles giant worms. In the end, Max defeats the worms and Mumblin wins his trial. Unfortunately, the Midknights are sent back to their boat, which is headed straight for a massive waterfall!

Honksgiving!: Max and the Midknights wash up on the shore of strange lands where a local holiday puts their party in danger. Sir Gadabout ventures out to clatterback territory and makes a shocking discovery. (#305)

Gnomeward Bound: Max & the Midknights fly to the village of Tresk to search for the missing Gnomes and discover a series of mysterious holes in the nearby forest. Before they can investigate, the kids are chased by two angry Ogres and run into Rovak, one of the kidnapped Gnomes from Tresk. Desperate to evade the Ogres, Rovak and the Midknights take shelter in a cottage owned by their friends, Bean and Barley. Rovak tells the Midknights how and why the Gnomes were kidnapped, but the story is interrupted when the two Ogres show up. As the Midknights and Rovak hide from the Ogres, Millie concocts a potion. But the kids are caught and the potion has an unexpected result: it turns the Midknights into gnomes. Meanwhile, Mumblin begins community service at Outpost 71, a mysterious factory run by penguins. Mumblin is relieved to learn that his friend Lenny is also serving community service, but when Mumblin learns that his sentence lasts ten thousand years, he decides to escape. Unfortunately, there's no way out. Or is there? (#306)

Max & the Midknights have a breakthrough in their quest when they meet a runaway Gnome, but finding the other kidnapped Gnomes is trickier than they think. Mumblin starts his community service in a mysterious building with even stranger employees.

Stuck in a Hole: Disguised as gnomes, Max and the Midknights, alongside their new gnome friend Rovak, are captured by ogres and taken to a mysterious dig site. After a brief glimpse of the mysterious and sinister Shadow Man, Max and the others are tossed into a deep pit, where they find the rest of the missing Gnomes of Tresk! The gnomes are cruelly being forced to dig, searching for some mysterious treasure. While Max thinks the Midknights' arrival will surely inspire the gnomes to escape, she soon discovers that they're far too scared of the imposing ogres above ground. As the Midknights try to convince the gnomes to fight back, Millie accidentally causes a cave-in! While the gnomes work to free their friends, Max heroically faces off against an ogre, demonstrating that even something as small as a gnome can make a difference! This ignites hope in the gnomes, and Rovak leads an inspiring song as the gnomes decide they're going to fight back and escape! (#307)

Max and the Midknights find the missing Gnomes of Tresk! But the Gnomes are terrified of their captors, and Max realizes she needs to inspire them to fight back if they're ever going to escape.

Shale Break: The Midknights plan a jail break for the Gnomes. With the stakes higher than ever, our heroes begin their escape. When the Ogres and the Shadow Man discover the jailbreak, the Ogres capture Baby Sam's dads. Max must deviate from the plan and save the Gnome dads. Worse, Millie's Gnome potion wears off and the Midknights turn back into their normal kid size, blocking the way in the Gnomes' escape tunnel. As Max saves the Gnome dads, the rest of the Midknights find a way out of the tunnel with the help of some underground critters. Together, they're able to escape successfully, but Max decides she must go back and face the Shadow Man and bring him to justice. When the Midknights face him, the Shadow Man tricks Max. He steals her magical amulet and escapes. Meanwhile at Outpost 71, Mumblin is determined to find the elevator and escape his boring community service. When Mumblin finally outsmarts the penguins, he takes the elevator to the exit but discovers that Outpost 71 is actually the mythical Tower of Time! (#308)

In a high stakes jailbreak, Max & the Midknights pull out all the stops to get the Gnomes of Tresk to safety-but not everything goes according to plan. Dead set on escaping Outpost 71, Mumblin tries to reach the elevator Lenny mentioned.

A False Victory: The Midknights heroically return to Byjovia with the Gnomes of Tresk, but Max feels that their mission is just beginning. The Shadow Man is still free and he has Queen Nerelia's amulet. Meanwhile, Millie angers Kevyn when she accidentally reveals that Kevyn hasn't written anything in his new book. After Kevyn admits that he is suffering from writer's block, and he and Millie make up, Kevyn makes a huge discovery: The Shadow Man's true identity. Kevyn tells the other Midknights that The Shadow Man is actually an evil doppelgänger of the first king of Byjovia, King Torin, and the evil clones are known as Bodkins. In an exciting flashback, we learns the backstory of how the Bodkin was created, and tried to take over Byjovia, but he was defeated and thrown into a tomb. The Midknights fear that the Bodkin may have broken free and now he's coming to Byjovia for revenge. The Midknights decide to travel to the tomb to see if their fears are true. (#309)

Max & the Midknights victoriously return to Byjovia with the missing Gnomes of Tresk, but Max feels that their mission isn't over yet. Millie and Kevyn's sibling rivalry hits a low point when Millie reveals a major secret about Kevyn's new book.

Tomb of the Bodkin: Max and the Midknights journey to an ancient tomb to investigate the legend of King Torin and his Bodkin-but when they arrive, they discover that the Bodkin has escaped, and find Sir Gadabout trapped in his place! They rescue him, but as they try to leave, a mysterious foe causes the whole cavern to cave in! As they attempt a daring escape, enormous stalactites rain down, destroying their only way out! But the creature attacking them is revealed to be the legendary, and somewhat scatterbrained, Fairy Dogmother! She reveals her involvement in the creation of the Bodkin, but assures everyone that so long as the Bodkin doesn't have the missing piece of the enchanted mirror, there's nothing to worry about. But when Max breaks it to her that he does have the piece, the Fairy Dogmother is alarmed, and the Midknights and Sir Gadabout fear they must return to Byjovia before it's too late. Meanwhile, Mumblin learns more about operations at the Tower of Time when he comes across an old acquaintance. (#310; season three finale)

Max and the Midknights journey to an ancient tomb to investigate the legend of King Torin and his Bodkin, where they make several unexpected discoveries. Meanwhile, Mumblin learns more about operations at the Tower of Time.

The voice cast behind the Midknights, a group of misfits each with their own unique talent, include: Blu del Barrio (Star Trek: Discovery) as Max, a brave and determined girl ready to take on any challenge headed her way; Melissa Villaseñor (Saturday Night Live) as Millie, a wacky yet super positive girl who brings the power of magic to the Midknights; Zeno Robinson (Transformers: EarthSpark) as Simon, Millie’s street-savvy and sometimes sarcastic companion; and Caleb Yen (Beyblade X) as Kevyn, the bookish genius with a photographic memory. Together, the group accomplishes nearly everything that they set their mind to achieve.

Alongside the Midknights, Jeremy Rowley (iCarly) lends his voice as Uncle Budrick, Max’s lovably silly parental figure and professional troubadour, Gary Anthony Williams (Central Park) voices Mumblin, a famous retired magician who helps guide the Midknights on their quests, Brian Stepanek (The Loud House) voices King Gastley, the nefarious ruler of Byjovia, willing to do whatever it takes to maintain his throne, and India de Beaufort (It’s Pony) voices Fendra, a dark sorceress working for King Gastley.

Produced by Nickelodeon Animation in Burbank, Max & the Midknights is executive produced by Lincoln Peirce (Big Nate) and Jane Startz (Ella Enchanted). Sharon Flynn (All Hail King Julien) and David Skelly (Toy Story 2) serve as co-executive producers and showrunners. Development and production is overseen by Claudia Spinelli, Senior Vice President, TV Series Animation, Nickelodeon, Nathan Schram, Vice President, Development, Nickelodeon Animation, and Stephanie Alpert, Vice President, Production, Nickelodeon Animation. The series is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution.

Max & the Midknights (Music from the Series), an album featuring songs from Nickelodeon's original animated series is available to listen to today through Republic Records: Kids & Family.

Additionally, it's speculated that season four may feature a Big Nate crossover.
