Monster High imagines a world in which iconic ghouls and monsters — from werewolves and vampires to mummies and zombies — not only co-exist, but learn together at the spookiest high school ever. Season 1 continues with their favorite characters — like Clawdeen Wolf, Draculaura, Frankie Stein, Deuce Gorgon, Cleo De Nile, and Lagoona Blue — as well as some new students they’re sure to love. From zombie invasions, to treasure hunts to *gulp* midterms, there’s a lot of fun frights coming this month.
In the new half-hour special “Power Heist,” Clawdeen receives a difficult proposal from Catarina Stripe, a substitute teacher at Monster High: Catarina will give Clawdeen her missing mother’s diary if Clawdeen will give Catarina the Moon Claw, a magical talisman traditionally worn by the “Wereruler.” Clawdeen’s mom, Selena, had bestowed the magic necklace on her daughter, who is cautious about parting with it.

What’s a weregirl to do? But things get pretty interesting when Clawdeen finds that she has an unlikely partner in Catarina’s daughter, Toralei.

Nickelodeon has been spooking up some big ratings wins with its Halloween fare, Deadline is reporting.
Monster High 2 premiered on Thursday, Oct. 5, ranking as the time slots No. 1 cable program among kids ages 2-11. Because of that, Nickelodeon also managed a double-digit live + same-day ratings increase in the kids demo year-over-year (33% among the 2-11 crowd and 25% for ages 6-11).

For context, Monster High: The Movie premiered in the comparable time slot last year.
After three days of viewing, Monster High 2 was up 125% among kids 6-11, managed a 0.9 (versus the live + same-day 0.4 rating). With kids 2-11, the film was up 80% in the L3 window.
In terms of total viewers, the film managed 389,000 in the L3 window on Nick (up 56% from the same-day numbers). In all, Paramount Global says the film reached an audience of 2.6M across its premiere weekend across all of its airings on Nickelodeon, Nick At Nite, Nicktoons, and TeenNick.
The week before, A Really Haunted Loud House made its debut on September 28, reaching about 1.9M viewers across all of its weekend airings on the Nick channels.

In the L3 window, the film soared 100% to a 0.4 among kids 2-11. Meanwhile, among the 6-11 crowd, it mustered a 67% ratings increase to a 0.5.
Both movies were released on Paramount+ the same day as their linear TV premieres.

The episode title is a play on the title of the cult British comedy Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace.
The visit to the Ferengi homeworld Feringinar also appears to include two familiar characters. While they weren’t identified in the official captions, one of the new images appears to show Star Trek: Deep Space Nine’s Grand Nagus Rom (Max Grodénchik) and his wife Leeta (Chase Masterson).
Ferenginar is also famous for how it is always raining, which can be seen in a couple of images of the four main lower deckers visiting the planet below.
The Ferengi theme is also apparent on the USS Cerritos. Another official image shows Captain Freeman with a Starfleet admiral getting ready for some Ferengi guests, including laying out a favorite Ferengi snack, tube grubs. The cheese platter shaped like a starship is also a nice touch.
