Nick@Nite Pays Tribute to 'Friends' Star Matthew Perry With 'Matthew Perry: Thanks For Being A Friend', Fan-Favorite Chandler Episodes

Following the tragic passing of Matthew Perry, Nick@Nite is paying tribute to the late actor, known to millions of fans as Chandler Bing on the beloved television sitcom Friends, by airing the special Matthew Perry: Thanks For Being A Friend. Please see local TV airings for when you can watch the special.

Nick at Nite premiered the Mathew Perry: Thanks for Being a Friend special on Sunday, October 29 at 10 PM ET/PT. The special tribute was produced by Entertainment Tonight and was put together within 24 hours. After the tribute special was over, the channel also broadcasted one fan-favorite episode of Friends featuring Mathew Perry.

The late Friends star, Perry, is best known for his character Chandler Bing — who was arguably the heart of the show, as agreed by both audiences and cast members alike. The special tribute aired on Nick at Nite was 30 minutes long and featured some never-seen-before interviews with Perry, behind-the-scenes moments from the hit NBC sitcom Friends’ set, and highlights of Chandler Bing. Nickelodeon has not yet revealed if the special will be available to stream online.

The late-night broadcast block, Nick at Nite, will continue airing fan-favorite episodes of Friends that feature some of Chandler Bing’s best moments, throughout the next week, up until November 5, every day at 10 PM ET. Perry, who gained worldwide fame through his witty one-liners and heartfelt moments on Friends, passed away on Saturday, at the age of 54.

In addition to Nick@Nite, in the wake of Matthew Perry‘s death on Saturday, Max has added a tribute to the actor on key Friends episodes. “In memory of Matthew Perry, 1969-2023,” reads the tribute card, which appears at the start of all 10 season premiere episodes on the streaming service.

In A Really Haunted Loud House, Lincoln Loud and his best friend Clyde skip the Loud family’s Halloween Spooktacular to attend an over-the-top party hosted by the new cool kid at school, Xander, leaving his sisters to plan the annual event and grandiose neighborhood performance, while Dad fights his own demons and avoids being captured by teenage werewolf hunters. When Xander and his mob of followers decide to play tricks and attack the Loud house, Lincoln, his sisters and Clyde must work together to save Halloween, leading to an epic standoff in the town’s junkyard.

Based on the Emmy Award-winning animated show The Loud House, and following the success of the hit live-action movie A Loud House Christmas, live-action comedy series The Really Loud House follows middle schooler Lincoln Loud as he goes on new adventures in the town of Royal Woods with his best friend Clyde McBride, while also navigating the chaos of living in a family with ten sisters. Season two of The Really Loud House will feature even more hilarious adventures and premiere in early 2024 on Nickelodeon. Season one can be streamed on Paramount+ starting early 2024.

When A Loud House Christmas, the live-action movie, premiered on Friday, Nov. 26, 2021, it became the top kids’ entertainment telecast with kids 6-11 across all TV for the year, drawing 3.1 million total viewers over the holiday weekend. A Loud House Christmas is currently streaming on Paramount+.

The Loud House animated series debuted on Nickelodeon in May 2016. October 30, 2023 – Paramount+ today announced that the documentary feature JFK: WHAT THE DOCTORS SAW from See It Now Studios will premiere exclusively on the service, beginning Tuesday, November 14, ahead of the 60th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Directed by Barbara Shearer (Loving Elvis), the film reveals startling medical observations about JFK’s wounds when seven doctors who were in the Parkland Hospital ER reunite to discuss a day none of them can forget. In never-before-seen footage from this reunion, the doctors share in vivid detail their indelible memories of what they did and saw in Trauma Room 1.

Several of those doctors there that day remain certain that what they saw looked like an entry wound – a bullet hole in JFK’s throat – an observation that contradicts what Americans have been told by numerous official investigations. This revelation would indicate that someone shot the President from the front, challenging the decades-old government narrative that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. JFK: WHAT THE DOCTORS SAW also examines the inconsistencies and gaps that plagued the official autopsy, raising even more questions about how many bullets hit the President and what damage they caused, leaving viewers with the looming question: Was there more than one shooter?

Episode 5: “The Founders’ Society” (Available to stream Thursday, November 2nd)

Frasier joins Alan and Olivia as they seek membership in the university’s prestigious “Founders’ Society.” Meanwhile, David digs into Freddy’s personal life for a surprising reason.

Starring Kelsey Grammer, who reprises his EmmyⓇ Award-winning role as Frasier Crane, the 10-episode first season will premiere in the U.S. and Canada on Thursday, October 12, with two episodes and on Friday, October 13, in all other international markets where Paramount+ is available. New episodes will then drop weekly on Thursdays, exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S. and Canada, and on Fridays, internationally. In addition, the CBS Television Network will broadcast a special airing of the first two episodes back to back on Tuesday, October 17, beginning at 9:15 p.m. ET/PT (following a super-sized original episode of Big Brother).

FRASIER was filmed in front of a live studio audience at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles. The new series follows Frasier Crane (Grammer) in the next chapter of his life as he returns to Boston with new challenges to face, new relationships to forge and an old dream or two to finally fulfill. Frasier has re-entered the building!

In addition to Grammer, the new series stars Jack Cutmore-Scott as Frasier’s son Freddy; Nicholas Lyndhurst as Frasier’s old college buddy turned university professor Alan; Toks Olagundoye as Olivia, Alan’s colleague and head of the university’s psychology department; Jess Salgueiro as Freddy’s roommate Eve; and Anders Keith as Frasier’s nephew David.

FRASIER comes from writers Chris Harris (How I Met Your Mother) and Joe Cristalli (Life in Pieces), who executive produce with Kelsey Grammer, Tom Russo and Jordan McMahon. The series is produced by CBS Studios, in association with Grammer’s Grammnet NH Productions. The first two episodes of the new series are directed by legendary director and television creator James Burrows, who is best known for his work as co-creator, executive producer and director of the critically acclaimed series Cheers, as well as the original series Frasier, Will & Grace and Dear John. The series is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution outside of the Paramount+ markets.

Netflix to Add 'Erin & Aaron' Globally on Nov. 3

Netflix will add the first season of Nickelodeon‘s live-action comedy series Erin & Aaron to its programming libraries globally on Friday, November 3, our friends over at What's on Netflix are reporting!

Erin & Aaron follows teenage stepsiblings Erin and Aaron as they navigate their new lives after their parents’ marriage, and find strength in their shared passion for music. The multi-camera series features original songs and performances throughout the season.

Erin & Aaron premiered on Nickelodeon in the U.S. on Thursday, April 20, with season one featuring 13 episodes.

Erin and Aaron's names may sound similar, but they couldn't be more opposite — and through music these new stepsiblings are learning to live in harmony. Erin & Aaron arrives on Netflix November 3!

Erin & Aaron stars Ava Ro (Big Top Academy) as Erin, Jensen Gering (Wickensburg) as Aaron, Larisa Oleynik (The Secret World of Alex Mack, 10 Things I Hate About You) as Sylvia, David S Jung (I Think You Should Leave, Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.) as Chuck, and Pyper Braun (Country Comfort) as Natasha. Guest stars appearing in season one include Michael D. Cohen (Danger Force), Jack Griffo (The Thundermans), Jared Gertner, Celia Méndez, and Cyrina Fiallo.

Erin & Aaron Theme Song & More!, featuring eight songs from the series, is available on streaming services today. The soundtrack was released through Nickelodeon's partnership with Republic Records: Kids & Family.

Created and written by Dicky Murphy, Nickelodeon greenlit the pilot for Erin & Aaron in April 2020. Murphy executive produces alongside Sean Cunningham and Marc Dworkin (The Thundermans, Knight Squad). Wendy Faraone (That Girl Lay Lay, Bunk’d) directs the first three episodes.

Murphy is a homegrown Nickelodeon talent. He worked as a script manager on Zoey 101 and went on to write for iCarly, Marvin Marvin, and Danger Force, and served as a writer-producer on the network’s The Thundermans series, executive produced by Cunningham and Dworkin.

On Netflix, most regions will carry Erin & Aaron as a Netflix Original title, except in the U.S., where it'll feature a Nickelodeon banner, similar to That Girl Lay Lay.

'Good Burger 2' to Pay Tribute to Original 'Good Burger' Actor Abe Vigoda

In a new behind-the-scenes video of the set of Good Burger 2, Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell have revealed that the highly anticipated sequel will pay a touching tribute to late actor Abe Vigoda, who portrayed Otis in the beloved original '90s movie.

During the tour, Kenan and Kel take us into the Office of Good Burger, which includes a bunch of Easter Eggs from the first movie, including a Wall of Employees featuring a photo gallery of employees who have worked at the iconic restaurant. Among the framed photos is a picture of Otis (Vigoda), as well as Shar Jackson, who portrayed Monique.

In the original Good Burger 2, Otis was the crotchety old dude that everyone knew and loved who made the French Fries, and was wrongfully committed to Demented Hills along with Ed and Dexter Reed, by Mondo Burger's boss Kurt Bozwell. Otis was also the character who delivered one of the film's most ~iconic~ lines: "Do you think you can get me to a hospital? I think I broke my ass."

Sadly, Otis' actor Abe Vigoda passed away in January 2016 aged 94 from old age, so it's a sweet touch for the sequel to remember the late actor.

When Vigoda passed, his daughter, Carol Vigoda Fuchs, described the actor as a non-judgmental man who would stop to shake the hands of homeless people who recognized him, Vigoda was also a beloved character actor famous for notable characters he portrayed throughout his decades-long career. In addition to Good Burger, he also featured in roles such as Salvatore 'Sal' Tessio in The Godfather franchise, Detective Phil Fish on Barney Miller and the grandpa in Look Who's Talking.

Nickelodeon Germany (Deutschland) has unwrapped their Halloween 2023 programming highlights, full of spooktacular episodes and fangtastic specials of hit Nickelodeon shows!

Zur Einstimmung auf Halloween gibt’s auf Nickelodeon ab Mitte Oktober jede Menge Spukspaß. Der „Spuktober“ und das „Halloween Special“ sorgen bei den kleinen Zuschauern für wohlig-witzigen Anfänger-Grusel. Mit schaurig-schönen, lustigen Episoden von „Big Nate“, „Willkommen bei den Louds“ und „SpongeBob Schwammkopf“ läutet der Sender beim „Spuktober“ die Gruselsaison ein. Beispielsweise lehrt der Fliegende Holländer in der Folge „HA-HA-Halloween“ SpongeBob und seinen Freunden das Fürchten.
