Paramount+ Australia Has 'Goat' What You're Looking For

We’ve Goat What You’re Looking For.

November 6, 2025

The Sky’s The Limit On Paramount+ In 2026.

Paramount+ Australia 2026

The world’s best entertainment is all in one place, and Australia’s premiere streaming service, Paramount+, isn’t slowing down in 2026!

From award-winning dramas to family favourites, thrilling live sports to blockbuster films, there’s a mountain of entertainment and something for everyone.

Looking to the near future and the scale and calibre of content coming to Paramount+ in 2026, the Paramount Goat said: “If you thought we hit peak entertainment this year, wait ‘til you see our upcoming, award-winning line-up. More homegrown hits than a goat can swing a horn at! And that’s before we go global!”

Paramount+ continues to deliver unmissable homegrown content, with two brand-new Aussie dramas hitting the service next year.

From Roadshow Rough Diamond, the award-winning producers behind Offspring, Love My Way, Tangle, The Secret Life of Us, Bump and Romper Stomper, comes Dalliance, a brand-new drama set around the complex relationships of 60-somethings who can’t be defined by their age.

Dalliance follows Billy (Hugo Weaving) an ex-cameraman who meets Dani (Heather Mitchell) on the Sydney Harbour ferry in a colliding of worlds. The attraction is obvious, and the writing would be on the wall… if Billy wasn’t happily married to his wife of 40 years, Rose (Georgie Parker).

But everything changes when Billy dies from a sudden heart attack while he’s with Dani. As his friends are reunited at his wake, and then find their own ways to move on, Billy’s untimely demise has far-reaching effects, with intimate relationships formed and others broken within the group.

Dalliance is sometimes heart wrenching and often hilarious as our friends discover that life, love, and [*ahem*] in their sixties is not what they expected.

Two Years Later is a romantic dramedy starring Brenton Thwaites and Phoebe Tonkin. Created by screenwriter Pete Bridges, the series is produced by Emmy® and BAFTA Award-winning production company, Hoodlum.

Thirty-somethings Emily (Tonkin) and Ryan (Thwaites) have a connection during their brief daily flirtations on their bus commute to work. But all that stops one day with the sudden COVID-19 lockdown.

Cut to two years later, and the pair step back onto the bus and instantly reconnect, so Ryan proposes they go on eight dates, at the end of which they will either get married or walk away.

Dalliance, Two Years Later and Last King Of The Cross season three, will join the growing suite of Aussie hits on Paramount+, including the recently launched Ghosts Australia, the second season of Aussie Shore, and the third season of NCIS: Sydney.

From home grown stories to international sensations, our 2026 lineup delivers unmissable content from across the globe.

Unspeakable: The Murder of JonBenét Ramsey stars Melissa McCarthy and Clive Owen as Patsy and John Ramsey, a couple who dedicated their lives to building the narrative of a perfect life, only to have it fall apart one Christmas night.  Nearing the 30th anniversary of one of America’s most notorious unsolved murders, the series explores the lives of the Ramsey family before and after the tragic murder of JonBenét when she was just six years old.

Joining the expanding stable of Taylor Sheridan’s television universe comes Y: Marshals, The Dutton Ranch, The Madison, and NOLA King. Boasting A-list casts and guest stars, Sheridan continues to captivate fans by exploring the stories of the Dutton family, and the terrains of Montana.

Y: Marshals is both a sequel and a spin-off to the wildly popular Yellowstone and sees Luke Grimes, Gil Birmingham, Mo Brings Plenty, and Brecken Merrill reprising their roles.

Set after the events of Yellowstone’s final season, Y: Marshals follows former U.S. Navy SEAL and rancher Kayce Dutton (Grimes) as he joins a specialised and elite unit of US Marshals to “bring justice to Montana”.

The Dutton Ranch similarly follows former Yellowstone characters Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly), Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) and Carter (Finn Little). Having risked it all for their 7,000-acre ranch, Beth and Rip have their peace. Now they face their toughest challenge yet; fighting to survive.

Executive produced and starring Michelle Pfeiffer, The Madison is a heartfelt study of grief and human connection and follows a New York family who make the move to the Madison River valley of Montana.

Set in the world of Tulsa King, NOLA King stars Samuel L. Jackson in his first role headlining a TV series. It follows the events of the third season of Tulsa King which saw Russell Lee Washington Jr. (Jackson) sent to Tulsa to take out Dwight Manfredi (Sylvester Stallone) once and for all.

Seeing what Dwight had built in Tulsa, Russell heads back to New Orleans and the home he abandoned four decades ago, hoping to mend his relationships with family and friends, and take control of the city he left behind.

The series is part of Sheridan’s growing slate on Paramount+, which includes Landman, 1923, Lioness, Tulsa King, 1883, and Lawmen: Bass Reeves.

Outside of the Sheridan universe but set amongst the stars is the highly anticipated next chapter in the world of Star Trek, Star Trek: Starfleet Academy.

Starring Holly Hunter, Paul Giamatti, Tig Notaro, Robert Picardo, and Oded Fehr, Starfleet Academy introduces viewers to a young group of brand-new cadets played by Sandro Rosta, Karim Diané, Kerrice Brooks, George Hawkins and Bella Shepard.

With stars in their eyes, full of hope and optimism, they discover what it takes to become Starfleet officers as they navigate blossoming friendships, explosive rivalries, first loves and a new enemy that threatens both the Academy and the Federation itself.

The stars that shine are all on Paramount+. Season Four of The Gilded Age and Yellowjackets and Season Two of Dexter: Resurrection will bring the thrills and the scandalous tea spills. Michael Fassbender and Jeffrey Wright return in spy drama The Agency Season Two, and NCIS Season 23 and NCIS Origins Season Two join NCIS: Tony & Ziva on the platform.

More international favourites returning include Mobland Season Two, FBI Season Eight, Fire Country Season Four, Matlock Season Two, and Elsbeth Season Three.

And after making headlines around the world, South Park is back with more episodes for Season 28, no doubt bringing even more controversy to the table.

The home of Hollywood blockbusters, some of the year’s biggest hits will also be coming to the platform very soon. Movie buffs will be able to watch titles like Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning, Scream 7, Smile 2, The Naked Gun, or for more family friendly fun, Smurfs, and The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants.

Speaking of fun for the whole family, the always nautical but nice SpongeBob SquarePants is joined by more classic kids’ content like Paw Patrol, Transformers: EarthSpark, Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and Dora.

Live sport is hitting fever pitch on Paramount+ as it remains the home of Australian football and is joined by the arrival of UFC in 2026.

Don’t miss a second of the football action as Paramount+ is the only place to see every game live, with coverage of all CommBank Matildas and CommBank Socceroos matches, every single Isuzu UTE A-League Men and Ninja A-League Women, plus the AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026™ hosted in Australia, where our Tillies will be seeking to win on home soil.

And in 2026, Paramount+ will become the new broadcast partner for UFC in Australia, one of the world’s most dynamic and influential sport franchises.

Paramount+ subscribers in Australia will have access to all live UFC Fight Nights and the prelims for marquee numbered events as part of their subscription from January. This partnership underscores the commitment of Paramount+ to delivering world-class sports experiences to its audiences.

It’s going to be a big, bold year, and we can’t wait to shine with you on Paramount+.

Paramount Global Says It Landed $1B In Digital Upfront Ad Commitments

Sports, broadcast TV and digital paced Paramount Global‘s overall performance in the upfront ad market, Co-CEO Chris McCarthy said during the company’s second-quarter earnings call.

One of Paramount's upfront dinners for advertisers in the spring of 2024
One of Paramount's upfront dinners for advertisers in the spring of 2024 | Deadline

“We are pleased with our upfront results, particularly in the context of the evolution of the ad market and the scale of new entrants,” he said.

Linear volume on par with 2023 and CPMs were up on a blended basis, driven by sports and broadcast, which were “relatively strong,” McCarthy said.

“The digital marketplace was also healthy,” he added. “We secured commitments in excess of $1B across our streaming portfolio, reflecting both the quality and the scale of our assets. With our mix of pay and free, we offer the most efficient reach across premium video.”

The quarterly report featured a jarringly large write-down of cable networks totaling just shy of $6 billion. The move followed a similar one by Warner Bros. Discovery on Wednesday. With linear TV in free fall, the growth of streaming offers a ray of hope for Paramount, with its direct-to-consumer unit posting its first operating profit during the quarter. In terms of resources, however, the financial strain of operating a mix of traditional and digital assets has resulted in major cutbacks, with the company planning to lay off 15% of its U.S.-based workforce by the end of the year. The cuts and write-down both were in part motivated by the pending merger of Paramount and Skydance Media.

Netflix, Amazon and Disney have all entered the streaming marketplace as major sellers over the past year or two, disrupting the sector for a number of players like Paramount. The company has most of its subscribers to Paramount+ on an advertising tier and also has a number of well-established free services with ads, including Pluto TV and CBS News 24/7.

McCarthy did not provide any commentary on ad category trends or note any particular programs drawing interest from advertisers.

In a departure from decades-long precedent, Paramount in 2023 decided to ditch its large-scale presentation to ad buyers in New York, replacing the event with a series of smaller-scale dinners. Other media companies, along with tech giants Amazon, Netflix and YouTube, have continued to stake their claims on traditional upfront turf during mid-May in Manhattan. Paramount brass have insisted the new approach eliminates waste and enhances connections with ad buyers.

Ad chief John Halley told Deadline last spring that the new approach had a “refreshing practicality” to it, adding that a number of media buyers had expressed enthusiasm for the overhaul.

Paramount Confirms It Won't Be Hosting Upfront Event In 2024

Paramount today (Jan. 22) confirmed that it won’t be returning for upfront week in 2024. Instead, the New York owner of Nickelodeon, CBS and the Paramount movie studio will once again host a series of “high-impact, intimate upfront gatherings” for each of its agency partners and their clients across New York, Los Angeles and Chicago, a Paramount spokesperson told Adweek. The events are set to begin in late April.

Paramount shocked the TV industry in 2023 by skipping its decades-long formal, glitzy upfront week presentation event at Carnegie Hall, but this announcement doesn’t come as a surprise.

The company feels clients responded well to the technique introduced last year and expects to build upon the practice with a new experience for those who attend.

“The feedback from last year’s approach was incredibly positive,” the spokesperson said. “And we’ll be building on the success of the format with a fresh new experience that deepens our connection with the advertisers we serve.”

The company also had a successful upfront season without its single lavish event, closing talks up low to mid-single digits in dollar commitments.

In a different era, Paramount was a backer of what was perhaps the most symbolic presentation of the upfront, when TV networks try to sell the bulk of their commercial inventory ahead of their next programming cycle. In its time, CBS’ Carnegie Hall event grew to symbolize the networks’ efforts during their annual week of publicity aimed at wooing Madison Avenue and has featured everything from live songs by The Who to a farewell from David Letterman.

But John Halley, who was named head of Paramount Global’s ad sales outreach last year, believes bespoke meetings carry the potential for more benefit, especially in an era when advertisers are seeking more precise placement of their pitches alongside narrower audiences defined by better data mining techniques. “We are not going to go back to the old way of doing things,” Halley told news outlets last year.

For Paramount’s 2023 upfront dinners, the company transformed Chelsea Factory in New York to showcase its “Popular Is Paramount” brand positioning. In addition to the immersive displays showcasing Paramount’s IP, the gatherings featured Paramount talent as well as musical entertainment.

The announcement comes as news of the TV upfront revs up. Recently, Warner Bros. Discovery announced it would return to upfront week, ending any speculation that the company could also exit. In addition, upfront week presenters YouTube and Disney have also already announced 2024 plans.

Thus far, Paramount remains the only major publisher to stay out of upfront week.

Strap yourselves in for a wave of premium content coming your way in 2024!  The new year promises a fresh and exciting early evening line-up, the return of your favourite programs plus some beloved legacy hits ripe for discovery by a new generation of fans.

Bursting out of the blocks in 2024 is a show that is the very definition of family entertainment. Gladiators is one of the world’s most exciting sports entertainment game shows and it’s all set for a triumphant return to Australian screens early in the new year.

A team of 21st century superhumans are relishing the chance to challenge a new breed of brave, everyday Aussie contenders in the ultimate test of speed, strength, stamina, agility and power. Hosted by sporting legends Liz Ellis and Beau Ryan, Gladiators will unquestionably get the thumbs up from viewers this summer.

From gladiatorial combat to a different kind of battle: our latest crop of castaways will once again be at each other’s throats when Australian Survivor: Titans v Rebels lands back on the beaches of Samoa.

Hosted by Jonathan LaPaglia, the Titans are both physically intimidating and utterly ruthless, but they’ll need to be at their absolute best to take on the Rebels – a group of individuals who live life by a different set of rules.

Across the ocean from Samoa’s white sands to Africa’s teeming jungles… and we’re pulling out all the stops in 2024 to celebrate a huge 10th season of the Logie-winning I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out Of Here!.

For almost a decade I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! has delivered a winning mix of fun and laughter, high adrenaline trials and fascinating insights into what makes celebrities tick. This 10th season promises to be the best yet with plenty of surprises in store – not least, a brand-new co-host!

That’s right. Alongside Julia Morris in our African treehouse next year will be none other than the Wildlife Warrior himself, Robert Irwin.

Our dynamic duo will be swinging into the South African jungle from Sunday, 24 March.

Filling out a packed March is the Australian Formula One Grand Prix, a sporting event so popular that when tickets went on sale, they sold out in less than two hours. Now, the only place to catch the action live and free (and cheer on hometown hero Oscar Piastri) is on 10 and 10 Play.

Australian audiences wholeheartedly embraced last year’s season of MasterChef Australia, a series which embodied everything the much-missed Jock Zonfrillo loved about the show.

In 2024, legendary game show Deal or No Deal returns to Australian screens, hosted by one of Australia’s most beloved TV presenters, Gold Logie winner Grant Denyer.

Among the most popular game shows of all time, Deal or No Deal promises thrilling gameplay that will have the entire family enthralled. Airing weekdays at 6pm, it’s the perfect complement to 10’s fresh early evening schedule.

Nothing rattles the funny bone harder than 10’s comedy stable of Have You Been Paying Attention?, The Cheap Seats, Thank God You’re Here, Gogglebox Australia and global hit Taskmaster. All are back in 2024 and guaranteed to keep viewers laughing out loud.

Also returning in 2024 is a new season of Hunted Australia. This brilliant reality series never fails to deliver pulse-pounding suspense when a group of desperate fugitives attempt to vanish into the urban wilderness and survive a thrilling game of cat and mouse.

In the second half of the year, The Amazing Race Australia: Celebrity Edition is pulling out the passports for a second season. A new gaggle of celebrities and their loved ones are tossed out of their comfort zone and into the big, wide world, all scrambling from pistol to pitstop for their chosen charity.

Returning recent faves? Tick. But that’s not all. We’re also proud to introduce a raft of classic shows to a new generation of viewers.

Wheel of Fortune Australia hosted by the charismatic, BAFTA award winner Graham Norton [Eurovision UK] and produced by Whisper North, part of the Sony Pictures Television-backed Whisper Group, will bring the classic game show back to primetime.

The epic game show will once again be centered around a giant carnival wheel as contestants spin to win for a life changing cash prize.

Graham said: “I’m beyond excited to be bringing such an iconic American show to Australia with Network 10. Hosting game shows is brilliant fun and even more so when you have a giant wheel to spin!

“This show has it all, mixing skill, luck and lots of surprises and I hope the Australian audience loves it.”

The original U.S. show is produced by Sony Pictures Television Studios, a Sony Pictures Entertainment Company, and is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution along with the format rights.

If Wheel of Fortune Australia doesn’t bring a nostalgic tear to the eye, then there’s another old favourite that just might!  A brand-new incarnation of the much-loved cooking show Ready Steady Cook is primed to hook Friday night audiences. The host? None other than the Prince of Paella… the God of Gazpacho… the incredible Miguel Maestre.

Elsewhere, a bunch of factual favourites are bouncing back in the new year, including Bondi Rescue, Ambulance Australia, Mirror Mirror, The Dog House Australia and Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly.  For gripping drama and heartwarming real-life stories, every one of these shows is a do-not-miss.

And if that isn’t enough, The Bachelors Australia, Shark Tank Australia and The Masked Singer Australia will ensure we have everyone covered for year-round entertainment.

But… we’re nowhere near done! Our newest free-to-air darling Nickelodeon is serving up a stack of premieres for preps and primary school kids, with the likes of PAW Patrol, Blue’s Clues & You!, Baby Shark’s Big Show, SpongeBob SquarePants, The Really Loud House and Middlemost Post. Over at Nick@Nite, the big kids are sorted with Friends, The Graham Norton Show and movies galore.

Flicking across to Bold and Peach, it’s comfort TV at its finest with NCIS, Bull, The Big Bang Theory and South Park. Plus, we’re kicking goals and shooting hoops with the A-League and the NBL.

In 2023 we introduced Pluto TV with our 50 FAST channels, making all your TV viewing dreams come true.

Featuring a wide variety of content across every genre and for all generations, Pluto TV collects all your comedy, reality, crime, classic TV, game shows, kids shows and more in the one place.  And incredibly, there are even more fast channels on the way in 2024.

We weren’t kidding when we said we were hitting it out of the park in 2024. Because the biggest swings… bring the biggest hits.

Paramount to Scrap Long-Running Carnegie Hall Upfront in 2023

In a major change to TV’s upfront week calendar, Paramount Global says that it will not hold its traditional presentation at New York’s Carnegie Hall in 2023, signaling some of the many changes taking place in the ways traditional media companies talk to Madison Avenue about matching commercials with content.

Courtesy of CBS

It's currently unknown whether Nickelodeon will host a separate Upfront event in 2023.

Paramount, owner of CBS, Nickelodeon and Paramount+, “will be hosting a series of high-impact, intimate gatherings in April for each of our major agency partners and their clients in lieu of our traditional presence at Carnegie Hall,” said John Halley, the company’s new president of U.S. ad sales, in a statement. “We believe this expanded format will prove more effective in facilitating our upcoming Upfront discussions.”

Halley succeeded Jo Ann Ross, who presided over dozens of upfronts at Carnegie Hall. The company returned to Carnegie Hall this year after COVID-19 wiped out in-person upfront events in 2020 and 2021.

The former CBS Corp., now part of Paramount, has used Wednesdays for years to mount a big show for advertisers. The perch has long symbolized the strength of the TV business, and CBS has relied for years, on guests such as The Who and Stephen Colbert to help the company make an impression on advertisers.

TV networks have put on glitzy upfront shows for advertisers for a week every May for decades, but as technology forces hard shifts on the business of advertising, a spirited debate about the viability of such presentations has grown louder. Advertisers are moving more of their money to digital and streaming opportunities, which are often governed by audience-profiling algorithms and software, reducing the need for a giant annual haggle during which the majority of TV’s commercial inventory is usually sold.

Even so, Paramount is taking a risk. Rival NBCUniversal has already indicated it intends to conduct upfront business as usual with a presentation on May 15th, 2023, at New York’s Radio City Music Hall. The company will hold a separate event for its Telemundo Spanish-language media outlet on the same day. Fox and Warner Bros. Discovery declined to comment about their 2023 upfront plans, and representatives for Disney could not be reached for immediate reaction.

TV companies that abandon upfront presentations often find that a competitor is eager to usurp the space on the calendar. In 2008, NBCUniversal backed out of the usual Radio City spectacle in favor of a walk-through “experience” at its New York headquarters. Fox, which had usually closed off a week of upfront pitches on Thursday, moved over to Mondays with a more traditional offering — and has stayed there ever since. Plenty of new-media companies that have made a bigger point of courting advertisers could also try to muscle in. Netflix, for example, is revving up ad-sales efforts for a new tier of its streaming service that includes commercials, and Google’s YouTube last year held a presentation during a week of upfront meetings that have typically centered on TV.

"This continues to be a transformative period for our industry, and at Paramount, we know that new realities call for new approaches," Halley said. "The same principle goes for our 2023 Upfront presentation. As media investment becomes more complex, the event needs to evolve to meet this moment."

“Our targeted approach is intended to encourage conversation with our most trusted partners — to hear directly from the agencies and advertisers we serve and who form the bedrock of our business,” Halley wrote, adding, “We also have a fantastic story to tell about the power of our popular portfolio and enhanced offerings, and the earlier timing will increase share of voice, in a more fitting setting for deeper engagement.”

The networks are facing a storm of challenges. Many big advertisers are considering whether to pull back on ad outlays due to fears of a looming recession and after tumbles in the stock market. But the networks have also started to sell in different ways that are less tied to serving up a single ad for millions of viewers at 9 p.m. on Thursday evening. These days, the networks must bundle thousands of impressions from across a wide array of viewing windows and convince advertisers such a reach is worth a premium.

The star-studded upfront extravaganzas cost millions -- an expense that has become questionable at a time when media companies are tightening belts and laying off staff.

Paramount is a big player in the impressions business. It offers up dozens of youth-skewing programs via its Nickelodeon kids-media empire, the popular Yellowstone series on Paramount Network and Paramount+. and a bevy of popular sports, news and entertainment programs on CBS. But it also has a lot of less-desirable tonnage to sell, notably the inventory on cable networks like MTV and Comedy Central that are largely stocked with repeats — an experience easily replicated on a so-called “FAST” channel. Halley is about to find out whether private meetings represent a better way to get the word out about advertiser opportunities.

BURBANK, Calif.--March 24, 2022--Nickelodeon today announced the greenlight of Bossy Bear, a brand-new animated preschool series from husband and wife team David Horvath and Sun-Min Kim (UglyDolls) and based on the popular book series by Horvath. The series (30 episodes) follows the misadventures of Bossy Bear, an overly-enthusiastic extrovert, and Turtle, a thoughtful introvert--unlikely besties who make the perfect team for navigating silly childhood adventures in their Koreatown-inspired city of Pleasantburg. Paramount Consumer Products will lead consumer products licensing for the Bossy Bear property worldwide in partnership with Imagine Kids+Family. Bossy Bear is slated for a 2023 premiere on Nickelodeon in the U.S. and Nick Jr. channels internationally. The news was announced today by Brian Robbins, President & Chief Executive Officer, Paramount Pictures & Nickelodeon, and Chief Content Officer, Movies and Kids & Family, Paramount+, at Nickelodeon’s annual upfront presentation held at New York City’s Palladium Times Square.

“Bossy Bear is incredibly funny with a confidence and passion for life that knows no bounds,” said Ramsey Naito, President, Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Animation. “Everyone on the preschool animation team, led by Eryk Casemiro, is looking forward to collaborating with our creative partners at Imagine Kids+Family to bring these relatable characters and authentic stories of family, friendship, and community to our audience.”

Said Stephanie Sperber, President, Imagine Kids+Family: “I’ve known David and Sun-Min for years and have been a huge fan of their unique and fresh graphic content. Bossy Bear was the first IP we optioned when we started Imagine Kids+Family a few years ago and we couldn’t be more excited to partner with Nickelodeon in bringing these funny and vibrant characters to kids around the world.”

The voice cast for Bossy Bear features: Jayden Ham (Sea of Lights, Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge) as Bossy, an extroverted bear whose big imagination and endless enthusiasm lands him in hilarious situations; Jaba Keh (Sesame Street) as Turtle, Bossy’s patient, pure-hearted and empathetic best friend; Claudia Choi (Her, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse) as Bossy’s Mom, the funny and athletic mother who has eyes in the back of her head and Gran-Gran, Turtle’s wise, loving grandmother who knows how to have a good time; and Shaun Baer (Chicago PD) as Bossy’s Dad, the store manager of an electronics shop who has a PhD in Dad jokes. Additional talent will be announced at a later date.

David Horvath and Sun-Min Kim are the creative minds behind the UglyDolls and Tea Time Cats franchises. Horvath also penned the Bossy Bear book series (Hyperion), inspired by a blend of Korean and U.S. pop culture.

Bossy Bear is executive produced by: Imagine Kids+Family president Stephanie Sperber and Elly Kramer; David Horvath and Sun-Min Kim; Bob Mittenthal (It’s Pony, The Loud House) for Nickelodeon Animation; and Ashley Postlewaite (Tom and Jerry in New York, The Mr. Men Show) for Renegade Animation. Jeff D’Elia (Captain Underpants, Doug Unplugs, Rugrats) serves as story editor and Chil Kong is consulting producer.

Bossy Bear marks Nickelodeon’s third project with Imagine Kids+Family, following live-action adventure series The Astronauts and the previously announced preschool series The Tiny Chef Show, which is currently in production and set to premiere later this year. Production of Bossy Bear for Nickelodeon Animation Studio is overseen by Eryk Casemiro, Executive Vice President, Nickelodeon Animation, Global Series Content. In addition to revealing the 2022-2023 CBS Fall Primetime schedule, the following new programming was highlighted from BET, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Paramount+ and more:

  • 1883: The Bass Reeves Story (Paramount+) – Created by Academy Award nominee Taylor Sheridan and starring Emmy Award nominee David Oyelowo, the series is an epic limited series that will bring the legendary lawman of the wild west, Bass Reeves (Oyelowo), to life. Known as the greatest frontier hero in American history, and also believed to be the inspiration for The Lone Ranger, Reeves worked in the post-Reconstruction era as a federal peace officer in the Indian Territory, capturing over 3,000 of the most dangerous criminals without ever being wounded.
  • 1932 (Working Title; Paramount+) – Created by Yellowstone co-creator Taylor Sheridan, and starring Academy Award winner Helen Mirren and Academy Award nominee Harrison Ford, the series introduces a new generation of the Dutton family and is the next chapter following the enormously successful 1883. The story will explore the early twentieth century when pandemics, historic drought, the end of Prohibition, and the Great Depression all plague the mountain west, and the Duttons who call it home.
  • All the Queen's Men (BET, BET+) – Based on the popular book Ladies Night, created by Christian Keyes, the one-hour drama will pick up on the life of “Marilyn ‘Madam’ DeVille,” played by Eva Marcille. In season one, viewers witnessed Madam’s swagger as a fierce businesswoman who rules all in the lucrative male exotic nightclub industry. She is surrounded by a band of trusted employees who are down to make sure that Madam and her empire is successful. As her journey continues in season two, she is hell bent on expanding her Queendom. However, she soon discovers that more money and more power mean more problems. Season two will pick up to see her navigate this sexy yet dangerous world if she wants to stay alive and ahead of the game. Fans will also rejoin Madam’s loyal team as the following series regulars return: Skyh Alvester Black as “Amp ‘Addiction’ Anthony,” Candace Maxwell as “DJ Dime,” Racquel Palmer as “Blue,” Michael ‘Bolo’ Bolwaire as “Doc,” Keith ’Fatal Attraction’ Swift as “Babyface,” Dion Rome as “El Fuego,” and Jeremy ‘Masterpiece’ Williams as “Midnight.” Keyes will also reprise his intriguing role as “The Concierge.” Additionally, recurring cast member Carter the Body returns as “Trouble” solidifying her spot in Club Eden amongst a roster of hot male counterparts. All The Queen’s Men season two is executive produced by Tyler Perry and Christian Keyes. Elon D. Johnson serves as co-executive producer and Angi Bones, Mark Swinton, Will Areu and Tony L. Strickland are producers. All The Queen’s Men is one of the first shows from Tyler Perry Studios’ scripted development arm, Pitch Black Development LLC. It will debut the second season later in 2022.
  • Beavis and Butt-Head (Series; Paramount+) – Beavis and Butt-Head are back and stupider than ever.
  • Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe (Film; Paramount+) – In perhaps the dumbest space movie ever made, Beavis and Butt-Head are sentenced to Space Camp by a “creative” judge in 1998. Their obsession with a docking simulator (huh huh) leads to a trip on the Space Shuttle, with predictably disastrous results. After going through a black hole, they reemerge in our time, where they look for love, misuse iPhones and are hunted by the Deep State. Spoiler: They don’t score.
  • Buckhead Shore (MTV) – The shore franchise heads to Buckhead, Georgia to follow the interpersonal lives of a group of friends making a name for themselves in the "Beverly Hills of the South” as they escape their everyday life and head to the lake shore to let loose.
  • College Hill: Celebrity Edition (BET, BET+) – BET goes back to school to revive the nostalgic reality series College Hill: Celebrity Edition. In the reimagined new season, celebrities will live together and join the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Texas Southern University as students. Nene Leakes, Ray J, Lamar Odom, Big Freedia, Stacey Dash, DreamDoll, India Love, and Slim Thug will head back to class to expand their educational horizons. Premiering Summer 2022, the 8-episode series will explore college life through a celebrity lens while showcasing the unique cultural and academic experience of HBCUs. Despite their respective fame and notoriety, each cast member is committed to focusing on their higher education as a personal challenge to prove it’s never too late. Enrolled alongside current Texas Southern University students, the cast will work towards completing a specialty certificate program to cross the graduation stage. Though to triumph, like any ordinary college student, they must complete their course work along with required internships, extra credit opportunities, group projects, and more. Who will take the lead on group projects? Who will pull an all-nighter? College Hill is executive produced by Tracey Edmonds for Edmonds Entertainment, Sean Rankine and Mark Seliga for This Way Out Media, and Tiffany Lea Williams for BET.
  • DIGMAN! (Comedy Central) – An adult animated adventure comedy series set in a world where archaeologists are cooler than rock stars.
  • East New York (CBS) – Stars Amanda Warren as Deputy Inspector Regina Haywood, the newly promoted boss of the 74th Precinct, in East New York – a working-class neighborhood on the edge of Brooklyn in the midst of social upheaval and the early seeds of gentrification. With family ties to the area, Haywood is determined to deploy creative methods to protect her beloved community with the help of her officers and detectives. But first, she has the daunting task of getting them on board, as some are skeptical of her promotion, and others resist the changes she is desperate to make. Her team includes her mentor, shrewd veteran two-star Chief John Suarez (Emmy Award winner Jimmy Smits); Marvin Sandeford (Tony Award winner and current nominee Ruben Santiago-Hudson), a highly respected training officer and expert on the neighborhood; Tommy Killian (Kevin Rankin), a detective with some old-school approaches to policing; Capt. Stan Yenko (Richard Kind), Haywood’s gregarious and efficient right hand; Crystal Morales (Elizabeth Rodriguez), an intuitive detective who can’t be intimidated; Andre Bentley (Lavel Schley), a trainee from an upper middle-class background; and ambitious patrol officer Brandy Quinlan (Olivia Luccardi), the sole volunteer to live in a local housing project as part of Haywood’s plan to bridge the gap between police and community. Regina Haywood has a vision: she and the squad of the 74th Precinct will not only serve their community – they’ll also become part of it.
  • Fire Country (CBS) – Stars Max Thieriot (SEAL Team) as Bode Donovan, a young convict seeking redemption and a shortened prison sentence by joining an unconventional prison release firefighting program in Northern California, where he and other inmates are partnered with elite firefighters to extinguish massive, unpredictable wildfires across the region. It’s a high-risk, high-reward assignment, and the heat is turned up when Bode is assigned to the program in his rural hometown, where he was once a golden all-American son until his troubles began. Five years ago, Bode burned down everything in his life, leaving town with a big secret. Now he’s back, with the rap sheet of a criminal and the audacity to believe in a chance for redemption with Cal Fire. Inspired by series star Max Thieriot’s experiences growing up in Northern California fire country.
  • George & Tammy (Paramount Network) – Chronicles country music’s king and queen, George Jones and Tammy Wynette, whose rocky relationship inspired some of the most iconic country music of all time.
  • Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies (Paramount+) – The musical series takes place four years before the original Grease; in 1954 before rock ‘n’ roll ruled, before the T-Birds were the coolest in the school, four fed-up, outcasts dare to have fun on their own terms, sparking a moral panic that will change Rydell High forever.
  • Hall of Love: The Ultimate Dating Experience (VH1) – In this new dating experiment, we’ll bring the choices and excitement of dating apps to life! Three single best friends will enter a literal “hall” of eligible men, who are all ready to commit. Inside this dating utopia, the women are in control as they search for real love. But they quickly realize having too many ideal choices is harder than it seems. In the end, they’ll have to answer the question, “If you’re offered everything you want…will you ultimately choose what you need?”
  • Honor Society (Paramount+) – A live-action comedic film that follows Honor (Angourie Rice, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Mare of Easttown), an ambitious high school senior whose sole focus is getting into Harvard, assuming she can first score the coveted recommendation from her guidance counselor, Mr. Calvin (Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Kick-Ass, Superbad). Honor concocts a plan to take down her top three student competitors, until things take a turn when she unexpectedly falls for her biggest competition, Michael (Gaten Matarazzo, Stranger Things, Prank Encounters). Additional cast members include Armani Jackson (Chad, Palm Trees and Power Lines) and Amy Keum (Evil).
  • Jersey Shore 2.0 (Working Title; MTV) – It’s been 13 years since the iconic cast of Jersey Shore fist-pumped their way into our lives and stole our hearts. Now, the time-honored tradition continues with a new group of roommates moving into their own Shore house. They may have traded their poofs for plumped pouts and UV rays for spray tans, but when things heat up in Jersey, the Shore is still the place to be to make memories all summer long.
  • Jodie (Comedy Central) – A spinoff film of the cult classic Daria, follows Jodie Landon as she leaves college, moves to a gentrifying city and begins a job at Firstfinity, a mysterious Google-like tech company.

When a devious plan to destroy Monster High threatens to reveal her real identity, Clawdeen must learn to embrace her true monster heart and find a way to save the day. Monster High: TV Movie will be available on Nickelodeon platforms globally fall 2022.

This time, trying to win a celebrity charity competition with an out-of-this-world prize. Due to his busy schedule, Kevin is limited on time, but Duane devises a plan to help him lift some of the load off of his plate in hope of his acting career restarting. • Sacrifice (BET, BET+) – Legal thriller Sacrifice starring Paula Patton (Precious, Traffik) takes place in Los Angeles following Daniella Hernandez (Patton), a highly sought-after entertainment lawyer, as she navigates the nefarious lives of her rich and famous clients.
  • So Help Me Todd (CBS) – Academy Award winner Marcia Gay Harden and Skylar Astin as razor-sharp, meticulous attorney Margaret Wright (Harden) and Todd (Astin), her talented but scruffy, aimless son whom she hires as her law firm’s in-house investigator. As the black sheep of the well-heeled Wright family, Todd is a laid-back, quick-thinking, excellent former private detective who fell on hard times after his flexible interpretation of the law got his license revoked. Margaret’s penchant for excellence and strict adherence to the law is at complete odds with Todd’s scrappy methods of finding his way through sticky situations: by the seat of his wrinkled pants. When Todd inadvertently teams with his mother on a case, she’s surprised to find herself duly impressed by – and proud of – his crafty ability to sleuth out information with his charm and his wide-ranging tech savvy. At last, Margaret sees a way to put her son on a “suitable” path to living an adult, financially solvent life she approves of, and she asks him to join her firm. Todd agrees, since it means getting his license back and once again doing the job he excels at and loves. Mother and son working together is a big first step toward mending their fragile, dysfunctional relationship, and they may even come away with a better understanding of each other at this pivotal point in their lives. But whether Todd and Margaret will be able to accept each other for who they are is another case entirely.
  • Teen Wolf the Movie (Paramount+) – A full moon rises in Beacon Hills and with it a terrifying evil has emerged. The wolves are howling once again, calling for the return of Banshees, Werecoyotes, Hellhounds, Kitsunes, and every other shapeshifter in the night. But only a Werewolf like Scott McCall (Tyler Posey), no longer a teenager yet still an Alpha, can gather both new allies and reunite trusted friends to fight back against what could be the most powerful and deadliest enemy they’ve ever faced.
  • The Challenge: World Championship (Working Title; Paramount+) – Winners from four new Challenge series (The Challenge: U.S.A., The Challenge: Argentina, The Challenge: Australia and The Challenge: U.K.) will advance to The Challenge global championship and battle for the first-ever title as The Challenge World Champion.
  • The Ms. Pat Show (BET, BET+) – Based on Ms. Pat’s stand-up comedy and memoir, The Ms. Pat Show is the story of a former convicted felon turned suburban mom and stand-up comedian, whose hustle and resilient spirit were forged on the streets of Atlanta. To much reserve, she now finds herself in conservative middle America alongside her penny-pinching husband played by J. Bernard Calloway (City On A Hill), a struggle of a sister played by Tami Roman (The Family Business), and two distinct sets of kids played by Theodore Barnes (The Prince of Peoria), newcomer Briyana Guadalupe, Vince Swann (50 Central) and Brittany Inge (Boomerang), the latter two raised under very different circumstances.
  • The Real Love Boat (CBS) – The new reality romance adventure inspired by the classic hit scripted series The Love Boat, sets sail on Princess Cruises in 2022. The Real Love Boat brings singles together to travel the Mediterranean on a luxury cruise ship while looking for love. Like the beloved original scripted series, the indispensable crew members, including “captain” and “cruise director,” who will be selected from actual Princess crew members, will play pivotal roles in the matchmaking and navigation of the romantic (and sometimes turbulent) waters ahead. After almost a month at sea, only one winning couple will make it to the final port and take home a cash prize plus a once-in-a-lifetime trip courtesy of Princess Cruises, the series’ exclusive cruise line partner.
  • The Tiny Chef Show (Nickelodeon) – Herbivore social media sensation The Tiny Chef brings his culinary adventures to Nickelodeon later this year in a brand-new series, produced in association with Imagine Kids+Family, Tiny Chef Productions, and Nickelodeon Animation. • Transformers: EarthSpark (Paramount+) – Based on the iconic Transformers property, the brand-new animated action-comedy series Transformers: EarthSpark is set to premiere globally on Paramount+ in November. • True Lies (CBS) – Inspired by James Cameron’s hit action/comedy film of the same name, follows Harry (Steve Howey), a first-class international spy for U.S. intelligence agency Omega Sector, and his wife, Helen (Ginger Gonzaga), a language professor bored with her daily routine, who makes the shocking discovery that her seemingly ordinary husband is leading an extraordinary double life. With the secret out, Omega recruits Helen, who impresses everyone with her formidable skills (thanks to Tae Bo and yoga), and she joins Harry and his team of top-notch operatives, embarking on covert missions around the globe and an exhilarating life of danger and adventure. The renewed bond between them adds much-needed sizzle to the Taskers’ emotionally distant marriage and upends the top-secret world of Omega Sector. But, as Harry says, if you’re going to save the world, you might as well do it for the ones you love.
  • Tulsa King (Paramount+) – Creator and Academy Award nominee Taylor Sheridan serves as executive producer alongside Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Terence Winter. The series stars Academy Award nominee Sylvester Stallone as New York mafia capo Dwight “The General” Manfredi, just after he is released from prison after 25 years and unceremoniously exiled by his boss to set up shop in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Realizing that his mob family may not have his best interests in mind, Dwight slowly builds a “crew” from a group of unlikely characters to help him establish a new criminal empire in a place that to him might as well be another plan.
  • Tyler Perry's Bruh (BET, BET+) – Tyler Perry’s second original series for BET+, the dramedy follows four longtime friends as they navigate life and relationships through the strength of their brother-like bond. In a society where relationships between men of color are often misjudged and misrepresented, Tyler Perry’s Bruh, embraces male vulnerability versus hypermasculinity. “Bruh,” a slang term made popular by Black-Greek culture, refers to a friend so close they are more like a brother. Whether fulfilling career dreams or finding love, these four college buddies now in their 30’s find themselves learning to stand on their own two feet, while leaning on each other for support and guidance. Sometimes their love is tough and their honesty brutal, but they manage to see each other through every scenario with levity and laughter. Tyler Perry’s Bruh is executive produced, written, and directed by Tyler Perry.
  • Wolf Pack (Paramount+) – Based on the book series by Edo Van Belkom, Wolf Pack follows a teenage boy and girl whose lives are changed forever when a California wildfire awakens a terrifying supernatural creature and drives it to attack a highway traffic jam beneath the burning hills. Wounded in the chaos, the boy and girl are inexplicably drawn to each other and to two other teenagers who were adopted sixteen years earlier by a park ranger after another mysterious wildfire. As the full moon rises, all four teens come together to unravel the secret that connects them - the bite and blood of a werewolf.

From AdWeek:

The Paramount Upfront Is 60 Minutes

Not often is TV news the centerpiece of a major media company’s upfront, but the 2022 Paramount upfront event was certainly unique.

Paramount ad sales chief Jo Ann Ross kicked off the live, in-person event, held Wednesday at Carnegie Hall, by noting this year’s presentation was scheduled to run 60 minutes and be 60 Minutes-themed: “This is the Paramount upfront in 60 Minutes,” Ross proclaimed.

While the event ran over the planned 60 minutes, it was indeed formatted like a live edition of the acclaimed newsmagazine. 60 Minutes correspondents appeared on stage throughout the presentation, introducing various parts of the Paramount content portfolio as if they were 60 Minutes reports. While not as flashy as some other upfronts, this was clever idea by Paramount that was executed pretty well.

Scott Pelley did the voiceover for multiple sizzle reels, before appearing on stage to tease his story featuring interviews with Trevor Noah and other Paramount talent. Lesley Stahl appeared on stage later to tease her 60 Minutes-style segment about Paramount’s reality TV offerings. Her piece consisted of interviews with stars from the various shows. Norah O’Donnell appeared on stage to tease her interview with Tyler Perry about his work at BET over the years. Perry also recently made his first foray into kids programming with a new Nickelodeon show. Bill Whitaker appeared on stage and teased his interview with BET CEO Scott Mills about his “Content for Change” initiative at Paramount, which addresses narratives around race, ethnicity, age, LGBTQ+, disability status and mental health.

CBS Mornings represented at the upfront as well. Two of the show’s co-hosts Tony Dokoupil and Nate Burleson, as well as actress/comedian Nicole Byer, were contestants in a fictional game show hosted by Let’s Make a Deal host Wayne Brady named “Climb That Mountain.” The contestants were quizzed on company stats, offerings, etc.

Fellow CBS Mornings co-host Gayle King also appeared at the upfront, wearing a cast and noting she has “an Achilles issue.” King discussed Paramount’s uber-popular Yellowstone franchise and introduced co-stars Kevin Costner and Kelly Reilly, who arrived on stage to significant applause. Following the Yellowstone duo were Faith Hill and Tim McGraw from 1883, David Oyelowo from the forthcoming 1883: The Bass Reeves Story—and Sylvester Stallone from the upcoming Tulsa King—all came to the stage to praise their shows and producer extraordinaire Taylor Sheridan’s work.

So, while CBS News wasn’t given a specific block during the Paramount upfront event, its shows and personalities were front and center throughout.
