'Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go' to Arrive on Milkshake! in the U.K. in November 2021

All Engines Go is only the fourth major revamp ever for Thomas & Friends in the property’s 75-year history.


Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go arrives on Channel 5 Milkshake! on Monday 8th November, featuring an entirely new storytelling approach, vibrant 2D animation, and a collection of fun new characters.

Produced by Mattel Television, in partnership with Corus Entertainment’s Nelvana Studio, Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go is only the fourth major revamp for the world-famous children’s franchise during its 75-year history. The new series follows a more playful and relatable Thomas as he strives to be the No. 1 Tank Engine through trial and error, all while enjoying being a kid.

Highlights of Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go include a greater range of character expressiveness, more physical comedy and music, and core characters that are now voiced by British child actors. The upbeat and colourful show is crafted to appeal to contemporary audiences’ sensibilities while maintaining Thomas’ core message about the value of friendship.


Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go incorporates 26 social-emotional, cognitive, and physical life lessons throughout the series, including friendship, taking turns, teamwork, self-help and empathy. While Thomas is the hero of this series, he always has his friends by his side. Four additional engines make up the core cast of characters: Percy, Nia, Diesel and Kana.

In the UK, the series will be preceded by a new 60-minute animated motion picture, Thomas & Friends: Race for the Sodor Cup, showing at Vue and Odeon cinemas throughout the UK from Friday 17th September. RRTV Grants ViacomCBS a 12-Year Czech License for Nickelodeon Global

The Czech Radio and Television Council (RRTV) has granted Prague-based ViacomCBS Networks International Czech s.r.o. a 12-year Czech satellite broadcasting license for the Nickelodeon Global pan-regional feed. The license was awarded on August 31.


The Nickelodeon Global license allows Nickelodeon Global to broadcast in many countries around the world:

* Europe: Albania, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Croatia, Lithuania, Latvia, Hungary, Malta, Moldova, Norway, Romania, Russia, Northern Macedonia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia, Sweden, Turkey , Ukraine;

* Middle East: Israel;

Po celém světě může vysílat dětský kanál Nickelodeon Global. Společnost ViacomCBS Networks International Czech získala pro svůj program českou licenci pro satelitní vysílání. Platnost licence je 12 let.

Rada pro rozhlasové a televizní vysílání (RRTV) na svém poslední zasedání konaného 31.8.2021 rozhodla o udělení licence společnosti ViacomCBS Networks International Czech k satelitnímu vysílání programu Nickelodeon Global. Podle licenčních podmínek se bude jednat o dětský televizní program zaměřený na americké animované a hrané seriály.

RRTV zahájila řízení o odnětí licence pro Terapie TV

Terapie TV nezahájila do 360 dnů vysílání, Rada pro rozhlasové a televizní vysílání proto zahájila řízení o odnětí licence.

Rada pro rozhlasové a televizní vysílání (RRTV) zahájila se společností Ambit Media správní řízení o odnětí licence k provozování programu TV Terapie. Licenci pro kabelové vysílání získala společnost 25. února 2020 a do 360 dnů nezahájila vysílání. Ambit Media má teď 15 dnů na to, aby se vyjádřila. TV Terapie měla nabízet program zaměřený na zdraví, zdravotnictví, medicínu, lékařskou vědu, zdravý životní styl, cvičení či moderní léčbu. Ambit Media je mj. vydavatelem odborného magazínu pro lékaře Terapie.

RRTV zároveň udělila společnosti ViacomCBS Networks International Czech licenci k provozování televizního vysílání programu Nickelodeon Global šířeného prostřednictvím družice na 12 let. Jde o dětský televizní program zaměřený na americké animované a hrané seriály.

Nickelodeon HD na kapacitě M7 Group

Na kapacitě lucemburského operátora M7 Group na satelitu Thor 6 (0,8°W) zahájil vysílání dětský kanál Nickelodeon ve vysokém rozlišení (HDTV). Modulace programu aktuálně slouží pro distribuci do některých zemí.

Nickelodeon HD není lokalizován do češtiny. Stanice je z kapacity M7 Group poskytována s volitelnou audio stopou v angličtině, ruštině, turečtině a chorvatštině. K dispozici jsou i titulky v ruštině.

Signál stanice je zakódován systémy Conax (CAID 0B02) a Viaccess (CAID 0500, provider id 050600). První z CA systémů používají DTH služby M7 Group, druhý programy společnosti ViacomCBS k distribuci k televizním operátorům.

Nickelodeon Releases Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Collection With Up-and-Coming Artist, Lily Stock, Winner of the Prospect 100 TMNT Global Fan Design Competition

Young Designers Globally Were Invited to Reimagine the Iconic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Lily Stock’s Design Was Selected to Become an Official TMNT Merch Collab.


New York, NY — ViacomCBS Consumer Products and Nickelodeon have released the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) x Lily Stock collection today on Amazon in the USA, UK, France, Spain, Italy, and Germany. Up-and-coming illustrator Lily Stock’s design was selected out of nearly 1,000 submissions by a panel of art experts plus TMNT co-creator, Kevin Eastman, giving the UK native a platform to showcase her art to millions of Turtles fans.

The collection includes tees, hoodies, tote bags, phone cases, and pop sockets ranging from $14.99 – $50.25 USD. All items prominently feature her full design showing all four Turtles, their master Splinter, and villain Shredder surrounded by a cascade of rushing water. For fans with a favorite Turtle, the full collection also comes in individual designs of Mikey, Raph, Leo, or Donnie too! Catch the collection at Amazon.com/tmnt through December 2021.


“I had a reminiscent blast designing this poster as it reignited my love for the TMNT franchise! I gave the design a timeless, organic aesthetic to symbolize the age of the series, whilst utilising vibrant colours and dynamic poses reminiscent of the Rise series to reflect on the modern vibe of the characters today. I designed each Turtle using colour tones of their designated bandanas, matching the pose to their overall personality. The poster flows up and down, allowing the eye to cross over every character as they follow the water bursts and abundance of colour, with their instructor and father-figure Splinter being the main focal point!” Lily Stock, 21, Illustrator & Character Designer and Prospect 100 Design Competition Winner.


“We were blown away by the creativity in the submissions we received. Lily Stock’s reimagination of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was striking and unique, and we are thrilled to showcase these new designs for fans to enjoy with this official collection,” Veronica Hart, Executive Vice President, Global Franchise Planning.

In June, PROSPECT 100 and ViacomCBS Nickelodeon invited aspiring designers from all across the globe — aged 16-25 — to submit a reimagined design of the iconic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to be judged by a panel of industry experts including Kevin Eastman, TMNT co-creator, Colm Dillane, KidSuper Creative Director, Harry Hambley and Danny Casale behind internet comic sensations Ketnipz and Coolman Dan respectively, MoMA exhibited Andre Saraiva, Buzzfeed Creative Director Loryn Brantz, fashion curator Lil Jupiter, digital artists Caitlyn Grabenstein and Morysetta as well as the deconstructive pop artist Matt Gondek.


After the panel narrowed down the submissions, which flooded in from 33 different nations, to 25 semi-finalists, the 25 entries were put to a public vote on PROSPECT 100’s Instagram account to narrow down the Top 5. Over 15,000 votes were cast altogether before the 5 with the most votes moved on to the final, judged by Kevin Eastman and Viacom CBS representatives.

The Top 100 finalists are invited to attend a private creative masterclass featuring TMNT Co-creator, Kevin Eastman and Rise of the TMNT character designer, Bryce Collins.


PROSPECT 100 co-founder Alexandre Daillance commented, “It has been a real honour for us to put together this incredible competition with Nickelodeon for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. TMNT is one of the most iconic franchises in the world, and for thousands of young designers having the opportunity to work with them is immense. The relevance and prestige of the judging panel also made this competition even more special and exciting for all participants. Overall, this competition is a great example of what PROSPECT 100 is all about – partnering with the most amazing brands and companies to create unparalleled opportunities.”

PROSPECT 100 co-founder Harry Beard went on to add, “There was a real buzz on social media when we launched this competition. So many young designers couldn’t believe there was an opportunity to not only work with an iconic entity like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but to also see ViacomCBS Consumer Products down to create a named collaboration with the winner – as well as a really healthy prize fund – is practically unheard of. I know our whole community has been insanely impressed with just how real Nickelodeon’s commitment is to championing young creatives, and it’s no surprise to us that 2021, so far, has been the year of the Turtles.”

Nickelodeon Unveils First Look at 'Overlord and the Underwoods' [Updated w/ Cast Info]

Nickelodeon UK & Ireland has unveiled a super first look at Overlord and the Underwoods, a brand new live-action comedy series, set to premiere on Nickelodeon channels internationally from Autumn 2021!


Overlord and the Underwoods is a original half-hour, live-action, single camera family comedy series (20×30') that follows the Underwoods, a North American family, whose life is turned upside down when their distant cousin, Overlord, the second most-wanted villain in the universe, seeks refuge in their home after being forced into intergalactic witness protection. After snitching out his boss, the evil Mega-Lord Supreme, Overlord is sent to live with his incredibly nice, distant cousins on Planet Earth. Over the course of the series, the evil Overlord and the very sweet Underwoods discover a thing or two about each other as they learn to treasure the value of family and the importance of true friendship, diversity, and compassion.


The new sitcom stars Ari Resnick (Ranger Rob), Troy Feldman (Reign), Patrice Goodman (The Umbrella Academy), Darryl Hinds (Designated Survivor) and Kamaia Fairburn (Holly Hobbie).

Created by BAFTA-winning showrunner, Anthony Q. Farrell (NBC’s The Office, CBBC’s Secret Life of Boys, CBC’s Little Mosque on the Prairie, upcoming marble and BYUtv series The Parker Andersons/ Amelia Parker) and Ryan Wiesbrock, creator of the Netflix Original Series Buddy Thunderstruck and the live-action adaptation of the Hulu Original series Holly Hobbie for Hulu and Canada’s Family Channel. The series features top talent and production took place in Toronto, Canada.

“I am chomping at the bit to start shooting this incredibly fun family series. I have had a blast putting these rich characters into hilarious situations with the other writers in the room. “Anthony, our Cloudco team, the marblemedia team, and all other partners have brought great energy and enthusiasm to this series. Farrell compiled an exceptional creative writing team for the show including Kate Hewlett, Ryan Belleville, Jay Vaidya, Amanda Joy, Angelica Mendizabal, Caleigh Bacchus, Simon Owens, Sadiya Durrani and Richard Young.

Academy-Award winning FX expert, Roger Christian (Alien, Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace and Episode IV A New Hope) boards the series as Character Designer. Christian was responsible for creating the props and sets for Star Wars, including the infamous lightsaber. His designs for this show will be brought to life by MastersFX and include Overlord’s helmet and costume and his animatronic, robot sidekick. The team at MastersFX is the character effects company behind hit shows The Handmaid’s Tale and The Umbrella Academy, and they will bring Christian’s designs to life in Overlord and the Underwoods.

Production credits for the series include: Executive Producers Mark J.W.
