First Look at 3D 'The Smurfs' Logo Unveiled + Official Zoom Backgrounds

Peyo Productions and Dupuis Edition & Audiovisuel have unveiled a first-look at the official 3D logo for their upcoming CG-animated The Smurfs series, set to premiere on Nickelodeon later this year!


Based on the iconic property and in partnership with LAFIG Belgium and IMPS, The Smurfs (52 11-minute episodes across two seasons) is a brand-new original CG-animated TV series following Papa Smurf, Smurfette, Brainy, Hefty, Clumsy and others, on all-new adventures, packed with humor, heart and high-stakes action. The series is set to premiere on Nickelodeon in the U.S. in October 2021, and is slated to roll-out on Nickelodeon channels and programming blocks shortly after.

The Smurfs Are Turning Pink!


Due to the Suez Canal blockage, several partners are currently encountering problems with the blue pigment supply. Exceptionally, and until April 10th only, the management of IMPS has decided to allow the use of pink magenta color for the production of Smurfs items in some categories. The Smurfs is produced by Belgium's Peyo Productions and France's Dupuis Edition & Audiovisuel. It is being directed by William Renaud (CalimeroCasper’s Scare SchoolA Kind of Magic) and written by Peter Saisselin (Sonic BoomALVINNN!!! And the Chipmunks) and Amy Serafin (Sonic BoomAlvin!!! In addition to the content partnership, ViacomCBS Consumer Products (VCP) will manage consumer products licensing for The Smurfs property across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Singapore and Malaysia. VCP will seek new merchandising and promotional partners in select categories and territories for The Smurfs classic brand, in addition to a new product line for the new animated series The Smurfs, spanning categories including toys, stationery, apparel and accessories, home, consumer packaged goods and more, to launch at retail in 2022.

Created in 1958 by Belgian cartoonist Peyo, pen name of Pierre Culliford (1928-1992), the Smurfs (French: Les Schtroumpfs) evolved from secondary comic characters in Peyo's Johan and Peewit (French: Johan et Pirlouit) comic series and spinning off into their own series the following year, in which they became the small centerpieces of the massive franchise that skyrocketed to global fame with the 1981 launch of The Smurfs (Smurfs' Adventures) Saturday morning cartoon series, which, produced by Hanna-Barbera aired new episodes on NBC until 1989, running for more than 250 episodes and several specials over nine seasons. It would eventually manifest in live-action CG-animation hybrid splendor on the big screen. The 2011 feature film of the same name and its 2013 sequel, The Smurfs 2 were produced by Sony Pictures Animation and released by Columbia Pictures. Hank Azaria and Neil Patrick Harris starred in live-action roles, with voiceovers by Anton Yelchin, Jonathan Winters, Katy Perry (famously providing the voice of Smurfette), Jayma Mays, and George Lopez. A fully CG-animated standalone movie, The Smurfs: Lost Village was released in April 2017, featuring the voices of Demi Lovato, Rainn Wilson, Ellie Kemper, Julia Roberts and Mandy Patinkin. Nickelodeon to Air 'Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years' Sneak Peek on Friday, April 2

With Paramount+ slated to premiere Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years, Nickelodeon's first-ever SpongeBob SquarePants spin-off on Thursday, March 4, many fans have been wondering if and/or when the show will air on Nickelodeon.


Long-time SpongeBob SquarePants writer Kaz Prapuolenis has revealed on his Facebook page that Nickelodeon will premiere an episode of Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years, on Friday, April 2 at 7:00 p.m. (ET/PT)! The episode will serve as a lead-in to Nick's brand new puppet-based comedy-adventure series The Barbarian and the Troll at 7:30 p.m. (ET/PT).

In his post, below, Kaz also reassures fans about the future of the regular 2D-animated SpongeBob series, and promises that fans can look forward to lots more exciting SpongeBob surprises popping up in the next few years!:

"The wacky CG retcon series: Kamp Kortal, SpongeBob the Under Years premieres tomorrow (March 4th) on Paramount +. CBS All Access will magically transform into Paramount + tomorrow. If you don't have Paramount + you can still watch Kamp Koral's pilot episode, The Jellyfish Kid (psst, I wrote the script) on Nickelodeon on April 2nd at 7pm. FYI, the regular 2D SpongeBob SquarePants Series on Nick continues with new episodes scheduled to premiere in the next few months and the Krusty Krew is hard at work right now on Season 13. There will be more exciting SpongeBob surprises popping up in the next few years!"


Although Kaz says that Nickelodeon will be airing the pilot episode of Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years, the episode that Nick will air will be "Sugar-Squeeze!/Tag", You're It, the second episode of the series.

In "Sugar-Squeeze!," the campers meet two backwoods narwhals named Narlene and Nobby, who treat them to a sweet surprise. Then later in "Tag, You're It," on a rainy day, SpongeBob and his friends entertain themselves indoors with a turbulent game of tag.

Leading up to the sneak peek, Nickelodeon will air a special compilation of fan-favorite SpongeBob SquarePants episodes between 5:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. (ET/PT) - Jellyfishing/Jellyfish Jam/Jellyfish Hunter/SpongeBob's Last Stand/Planet of the Jellyfish. (#886)


Following the sneak peek, Nickelodeon will premiere Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years on its linear TV channel in September 2021, as season two premieres on Paramount+.

Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years is the first-ever SpongeBob SquarePants spinoff. The CG-animated prequel series follows 10-year-old SpongeBob SquarePants and his pals during summer sleepaway camp where they spend their time building underwater campfires, catching wild jellyfish and swimming in Lake Yuckymuck at the craziest camp in the kelp forest, Kamp Koral. Season one will have 26 episodes.





Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years features Tom Kenny (SpongeBob), Bill Fagerbakke (Patrick), Rodger Bumpass (Squidward), Clancy Brown (Mr. Krabs), Carolyn Lawrence (Sandy) and Mr. Lawrence (Plankton) reprising their iconic roles. Carlos Alazraqui (Rocko's Modern Life, The Casagrandes) and Kate Higgins (Blaze and the Monster Machines) join as new characters Nobby and Narlene, narwhal siblings who live in the woods surrounding the camp.

The Barbarian and the Troll Meet the Ultimate Armored Bouncer | Sneak Peek | Nickelodeon

A new clip for Nickelodeon's The Barbarian and the Troll puppet comedy features an unmoving knight who plays the role of a club bouncer.


Brendar, Evan and their merry posse meet an unmoving armored bouncer in a brand new sneak peek of Nickelodeon's The Barbarian and the Troll, courtesy of CBR!

When the Barbarian and Troll's questing group gets to the gates of a massive castle, they are greeted by a valiant knight in shining armor. After Brendar asks the knight to step aside so they can enter, he looks over the guest list and declares, "Yeeaahhh... you're not on the list." This forces Evan to try and pull the knight's helmet off so he can face Evan's questing companions.


Of course, Evan is unable to remove the helmet from the head. He is swiftly folded up like an accordion and rolled back down the drawbridge as if he were a bowling ball. "When respect is lacking, my ax starts hacking," Brendar tells the knight. Right when tensions start to rise, Stacy (the group's owl) steps forward to greet the knight, revealing they are friendly towards one another. However, Stacy has no time for small talk and simply asks for her friends to be let in, which the knight quickly agrees to.

In the premiere of The Barbarian and the Troll, Evan the troll decides to burn his bridge and venture out into the world of Gothmoria for the first time to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming a singer. He soon meets Brendar, who had been expelled from the Royal Order of Warrior Princesses and is now known as a “feared and revered” barbarian. After Evan convinces Brendar to bring him on her quest to vanquish the evil demon, they cross treacherous terrain to confront bizarre and magical creatures and encounter an eclectic puppet cast of wacky characters.


The Barbarian and the Troll stars Spencer Grammer, Drew Massey, Colleen Smith, Allan Trautman, Sarah Sarang Oh, Nicolette Santino, Peggy Etra, James Murray, Jeny Cassady and Gina Yashere. 'To All The Boys' Spinoff Series Starring Anna Cathcart Reportedly in the Works

The 2018 To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before spawned a successful movie trilogy for Netflix that helped revitalize the romantic comedy genre. Now the screen franchise from Awesomeness and ACE Entertainment is eying a future behind the final movie To All the Boys: Always and Forever with a TV series spinoff, Deadline reports.


According to Deadline, the currently untitled half-hour romantic comedy series project, now in early development, would follow Kitty, the youngest of the Covey sisters, on her quest to find true love. The movies’ breakout Anna Cathcart is on board to reprise her role as Kitty Song Covey. Netflix declined comment.

Jenny Han, author of the To All the Boys books that were adapted into the Netflix movie trilogy, is the creator, writer, and executive producer of the potential series. Siobhan Vivian and Han are co-writing the pilot script, based on the character from Han’s popular novels To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before (published in 2014), P.S. I Still Love You (2015) and Always and Forever, Lara Jean (2017).

Awesomeness and Matt Kaplan’s ACE, which developed Han’s To All the Boys book series into the hugely successful streaming trilogy for Netflix, are also behind the TV series offshoot. Netflix has been mulling the idea of building integrated film-TV universes with feature films and TV series as part of the same franchise.

Cathcart played scene stealer Kitty in the To All the Boys movies, a character that played a key role in the plot. In the first film, she found the letters her older sister Lara, a shy high school junior, had written to boys she had had crushes on and secretly mailed them, triggering all the followup events.

Kitty has long been a fan favourite character in the To All The Boys franchise. From the get go, she established herself as an icon. She was also instrumental in kicking off Lara Jean's whole love story with Peter Kavinsky when she sent the letters to LJ's crushes.

In the third film, viewers saw Kitty fall head over heels for a boy named Dae who she met in South Korea, and start a long-distance relationship with him.

While speaking about a potential fourth film in the series, author Han previously said she would love to write a spin-off for Kitty. In an interview with E! Online, Han said: "If I was going to do a spinoff series, I've always thought it would be Kitty because she is so different from her sisters. I think it would be fun to explore that."

Awesomeness is also behind Nickelodeon's new mockumentary-style comedy series Drama Club, Hulu’s acclaimed series Pen15. , and the upcoming musical The J Team, starring JoJo Siwa. ViacomCBS recently merged the live-action units of Nickelodeon and Awesomeness to form the Awesomeness and Nickelodeon Live-Action Film Studio. In 2017, ACE Entertainment launched a television division focused on YA content.

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays, proud ECHL affiliate of the Washington Capitals, have partnered with Dorchester Paws to host Nickelodeon Night at their game vs. Greenville on April 24 at 7:05 p.m. at the North Charleston Coliseum.

This is the third consecutive season that the Rays and Dorchester Paws have teamed up to present a Nickelodeon-themed game, which includes specialty jerseys that will be auctioned during the game to benefit the community animal shelter.

"Dorchester Paws is excited to team up with the Stingrays for their annual Nickelodeon night," said Maddie Moore, Executive Director, Dorchester Paws. "We can't wait to see the jerseys on the ice. Through community support and events like these, we are able to raise funds to feed our animals, pay urgent medical bills, and more. We hope to see you there!"

The shelter will be showcasing dogs available for adoption on the concourse during the game and will also be accepting donations of canned puppy and adult dog food, mother and baby kitten canned food, paper towels, and training treats. Those interested in donating can see their list of needs on their website.

"Dorchester Paws has been an incredible partner for the past several years," said Kevin Schildt, Vice President of Corporate Partnerships for the Stingrays. "This night will raise awareness of Dorchester Paws' commitment to improving the lives of animals in Dorchester County in a fun and exciting atmosphere. Earlier this season, Stingrays fans voted on which show to model this years' sweaters after, with Rugrats emerging as the most popular choice. The jerseys will be sold via DASH Auction beginning at 5 p.m. on April 24.

Dorchester Paws was established in 1972 and is the only open-admission shelter in Dorchester County. The organization was recently honored as the 2020 Non-Profit of the Year by the Greater Summerville/Dorchester County Chamber of Commerce.

The Stingrays Front Office will also be hosting a Autism Speaks Night on April 14, when they play the Orlando Solar Bears. Presented by DASH Auction, this night will raise funds for Autism Speaks with a Stingrays specialty jersey and mystery puck raffle during the game.

Additionally, the Greenville Swamp Rabbits hosted a Double Dare Day on April 25! "Slime the Stingrays with a family fun event for the whole family presented by Waves Express Car Wash. Enjoy Nickelodeon themed entertainment and kid friendly stations on the concourse. The team will be sporting specialty Double Dare Jerseys that will be available for auction."

Nickelodeon Teen France to Premiere 'Side Hustle' on Sunday 25th April 2021

Nickelodeon Teen France will be premiering Side Hustle, Nickelodeon's brand-new live-action buddy comedy starring social media sensations and real-life best friends, Jules LeBlanc and Jayden Bartels, on Sunday 25th April 2021 at 18:10. Following launch, new episodes of the series, locally titled Side Hustle : Un Job à Tout Prix, will air Sundays at 18:10 on the Nickelodeon Teen channel.

Créée et produite par Dave Malkoff (qui a également travaillé sur les séries Nickelodeon Henry Danger, Sam & Cat et Victorious) et tournée en studio devant un public, cette toute nouvelle comédie suit le quotidien mouvementé de Lex et Presley, deux amies unies pour le meilleur mais surtout pour le pire ! 

Pour interpréter ce duo déjanté, on retrouve les actrices et chanteuses Jules LeBlanc et Jayden Bartels également stars des réseaux sociaux, qui comptabilisent à elles deux plus de 25 millions d'abonnés sur TikTok et plus de 12 millions sur Instagram. Deux révélations aux multiples talents qui ont su conquérir le cœur des plus jeunes ! Et dans le rôle de leur meilleur ami excentrique, on retrouve Isaiah Crews, le fils de Terry Crews aka le génial lieutenant Terry Jeffords dans Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
 
Le pitch - Après avoir endommagé par accident le bateau appartenant au père de leur ami Munchy, les deux amies Lex et Presley doivent trouver un moyen de gagner de l'argent pour réparer les dégâts. Avec l'aide du petit frère de Presley, elles décident de créer une application leur permettant d'être mises en relation avec des personnes cherchant de l'aide pour des petits boulots. Entre organisatrices de mariage pour chiens, princesses pour anniversaire ou encore magiciennes, les deux amies enchaînent les petits boulots, tous plus improbables les uns que les autres.
