Nicktoons Arabia To Premiere "Mysticons" On Monday 9th October 2017

Nickelodeon and Nelvana’s CG-Animated Fantasy Series Mysticons, Premieres Monday 9th October 2017 on Nicktoons Arabia!



A mythic quest to save the world unfolds in Nickelodeon’s newest animated series, Mysticons, premiering Monday 9th October 2017 on Nicktoons Arabia. Produced by Corus Entertainment’s premier animation company Nelvana, the half-hour action series rich in story and mythology follows four girls who transform into legendary warriors, Mysticons, who band together to save their realm from evil. The series will air regularly on Nicktoons Arabia weekdays at 14:40, 19:30 and 00:43 and at weekends at 15:25, 16:57 and 17:20.

Created and executive produced by Sean Jara (Johnny Test, Max Steel, Inspector Gadget), Mysticons is a contemporary urban fantasy series about four girls from different walks of life who are transformed into the legendary Mysticons. Arkayna, Zarya, Emerald, and Piper are drawn together by a prophecy to battle evil and protect the realm as unexpected heroes who work together to become epic warriors and ultimately, the closest of friends. The heroes team up as the stakes are raised when the evil Queen Necrafa is released from her prison and embarks on a mission to destroy them and their home, Drake City.

In the series premiere, “Sisters in Arms” (#101), premiering Monday 9th October 2017, the legendary Dragon Disk brings together the four girls and bestows upon them magical powers.

Then, in the second episode "How to Train a Mysticon" (#102), the new Mysticons are called to Astromancer Island to begin their training.



The voice cast of the English-language dub of Mysticons includes: Alyson Court (The Big Comfy Couch) as “Arkayna Goodfey,” Drake City’s princess who is desperate to be a regular teen, while balancing being Mysticon Dragon Mage; Nicki Burke (Barbie: The Pearl Princess) as “Zarya Moonwolf,” a tough and fiercely protective street kid with roguish charm, known as Mysticon Ranger; Evany Rosen (Hotel Transylvania: The Series) as “Emerald Goldenbraid,” an innovative engineer and Arkayna’s best friend, known as Mysticon Knight; and Ana Sani (Mia and Me) as “Piper Willowbrook,” an optimistic and fun-loving street kid who doubles as Mysticon Striker.

Nickelodeon Greece To Premiere "Wallykazam!" On Saturday 21st October 2017

Nickelodeon invites preschoolers to discover the magic of words as Nickelodeon Greece debuts Nickelodeon's popular animated literacy series Wallykazam! on Saturday 21st October 2017 at 8:00am! Wallykazam! follows the adventures of a troll named Wally and his pet dragon, Norville, who live in a forest with giants, goblins, ogres, sprites and other mythical creatures. Wally uses his magic stick to make words come to life on screen that start with a specific letter, sound or rhyme. Each episode features a new set of magic words that Wally uses to playfully transform the world around him.

Wallykazam! is Nickelodeon's first preschool series that embeds a literacy curriculum into a full-length story, introducing skills such as letter and sound identification, rhyming, vocabulary development and comprehension strategies. Created by producer/writer Adam Peltzman (Emmy Award-winning The Backyardigans and Bubble Guppies), the series will air regularly every Saturday and Sunday at 8:00am.


Wallykazam!

In the series premiere, "Naptime for Borgelorp," Wally babysits Ogre Doug's hyper and unpredictable pet Borgelorp. Ogre Doug gives Wally two instructions: get Borgelorp to take a nap and, most importantly, make sure he doesn't eat any purple flowers. Wally uses magic words to help tire out the rambunctious creature and desperately tries to keep him away from purple flowers, but Bobgoblin has other plans. The words introduced in the episode start with the letter "s" and include somersault, soar, sandwich and symphony.

Additional outerwear products are also planned for spring and early fall 2018.

To celebrate Nickelodeon USA premiering the brand-new SpongeBob SquarePants episode "Feral Friends"; "Don't Wake Patrick!" (#215) on Saturday 7th October 2017 at 10:00am ET/PT, Nick USA has unveiled a Sponge-Tastic sneak peek preview from the all-new episode, which you can watch in the super online streaming video clip here on Nick.com!


In the brand-new SpongeBob SquarePants episode "Feral Friends", a strange moon turns everyone in town into wild animals, and Sandy is the only one who can save them! Nickelodeon Latinoamérica To Premiere "Kally's MashUp" On Monday 23rd October 2017

Nickelodeon Latinoamérica (Latin America) will host the super premiere of Kally's MashUp, a brand-new musical series that follows the adventures of a 13-year-old music prodigy, on Monday 23rd October 2017!

Created by Anders and Anthony Falcon, Kally's MashUp is inspired by the real life and musical trajectory of Adam Anders. The story follows the adventures of Kally, a 13-year-old music prodigy who tries to balance her life as a piano virtuoso with that of a regular teenager, after moving from a small town to the most prominent music university in the country. Although everyone thinks she was born to be a classical piano player, her true dream and passion is to be a pop star.


Comprised of 60 hour-long episodes, the music series will feature original songs composed by Anders, his wife, Nikki Anders, and his longtime collaborator, Peer Astrom. Anders will serve as executive producer for the show and oversee all the music featured in the series.



The series will star a very talented cast from Argentina and Mexico, headed by Maia Reficco in the role of Kally, Alex Hoyer as Dante, Sarah Cobo playing Gloria, Mariano Chiesa, Betina O’Connell, Marita Ballesteros, Emiliano Dionisi, Josefina Scaglione, Sebastián Holz, Francisco Donovan, Daniel Campomenosi, Sarai Meza, Jackie Castañeda, Fer Serrano, Tomás Carullo, Tupac Larriera, Daniela Flombaum, José G. Zapiola, Lalo Brito, Milagros Masini, Celeste Sanazi, Camila Mateos, Cintia Torres Garcia, Facundo Giordano, Julieta Perez Cieri, Juan Martin Delgado, Carla Guidobono, Maximiliano Morales, Lucas Noacco, Florencia Ortega, Mario Juangorena and Sofia Miramon.

The show recently started production at Telefe Studios in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

To celebrate the debut of Kally's MashUp, Nickelodeon Latinoamérica aired two Kally's MashUp behind-the-scenes specials in September 2017, which looked at the characters, storylines, music and dancing that will be featured in the series.

In his successful career as a music producer, Adam Anders sold more than 100 million albums and composed music for some of the most successful movies and television series in history, including Glee. His songs broke many records, and his work has earned him four Grammy nominations, two People's Choice Awards, two Golden Globes and an ARIA Award. Anders has an unparalleled record of writing and producing hit songs for artists such as Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Backstreet Boys, among others.


360 Powwow is a television and production consultancy led by Daniel Gutman which specializes in co-productions for the United States, US Hispanic, Latin American and Spanish markets, with thousands of hours produced for prominent television channels in these territories. Some recent 360 Powwow co-productions include Dance!, an 80-episode youth drama-comedy series co-produced with Rosenbush / Border (executive producers of High School Musical); and El Lider de la Manada, a reality show with the world-renowned dog trainer, Cesar Millan (Mutt & Stuff) for Cuatro (España).

Nickelodeon Announces Kids' Choice Awards Colombia 2017 Winners | #KCAColombia

Nickelodeon Latin America (Latinoamérica) has announced the winners of Kids' Choice Awards Colombia 2017, as voted for by fans!


NickHeads in Colombia voted for their favourites from the worlds of television, movies, music, sports, celebrities and more online at KCAColombia.com, via the Nick Play app, and on Twitter using the hashtag #KCAColombia. A record breaking 121 million votes were cast in Kids' Choice Awards Colombia 2017!


Nickelodeon revealed the winners of Nickelodeon's coveted orange blimps at a star and slime-studded Orange Carpet ceremony hosted by Andrea Serna and Sebastián Yatra at Chamorro City Hall in Colombia on Saturday 30th September 2017. The show will air on Monday 2nd October 2017 at 8pm on Nickelodeon Colombia.

More than 2,500 kids and their families attended Nickelodeon Latinoamérica's fourth annual Kids' Choice Awards Colombia 2017 ceremony.


Kids' Choice Awards Colombia 2017 kicked off with a special appearance from Sebastián Silva, Sebastián Yepes and Johann Vera, who performed the anthem of the event.

The show featured many special guests throughout the night, including: Reykon, who performed “El Chisme” and “Déjame que te explico”; followed by RK and popular YouTubers Sebastián Villalobos, Mario Ruiz and Juan Pablo Jaramillo, who invited a fan to take the stage and perform “Me enamoré de una fan”.


The girls of Ventino took over the stage with their hit songs “Duele” and “Me equivoqué”. Sebastián Yatra captivated the audience when he appeared with his piano and a choir to perform a unforgettable and very touching rendition of “Devuélveme el corazón”.

Emotions were felt across the packed auditorium when Mexican singer Paty Cantu took the stage to perform “Valiente”, in honor of the people who lost their lives during the recent earthquake in México.

Venezuelan artist Nacho lit the stage by singing his latest hit “Happy Happy” and popular songs “Andas en mi cabeza” and “Báilame” live. Excitement levels went through the roof when Nacho invited Sebastián Yatra onto the stage to perform a duet of “Alguien robó” together.


La Fundación Iniciativas de Paz were also honored when Franklin Ramos and Laura Tobón took the stage to presenter the ceremony's Pro-Social award that recognizes the foundations work to combat bullying and cyberbullying in classrooms.

Kids' Choice Awards Colombia 2017 closed the night in spectacular style when Piso 21 make the arena vibrate with their hits “Me llamas” and “Besándote”.
