Video Of Nickelodeon UK's Brand New 60 Second "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" Launch Promo By Pixel DNA

To celebrate and promote Nickelodeon UK premiering and showing Nickelodeon's brand new CGI-animated "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" television series from October 2012, the Sheffield, UK-based creative studio 'Pixel DNA' has unveiled a brand new high definition (HD) high quality (HQ) online streaming Nickelodeon video clip featuring the brand new 60-second "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" trailer/promo they made for Nickelodeon UK that will be broadcast across a number of national television channels including ITV, Channel 5, Disney Channel, and Cartoon Network, to advertise that Nickelodeon UK and Ireland and Nickelodeon HD UK will be premiering Nickelodeon's brand new "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" television show from Monday 1st October 2012 at 5.00pm (BST (GMT+1)), which you can watch below (with transcript):

Following on from the success of our international TMNT Idents, we have just created a number of Motion Graphics shots for inclusion in the first set of promotional campaigns to push the brand new series of 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' in the UK. This included a 60" TV campaign that will broadcast across a number of national TV channels including ITV, Channel 5, Disney, & Cartoon Network.

Our task was to create a number of high end graphics including close-ups of a 3D TMNT logo, as well as a number of 3D sets of a cityscape that needed to look dark and moody and also represent a similar style to the shows own look and feel. Some fun bits included name checks of each of the turtles where we were really able to go to town and integrate each of the characters in our own bespoke 3D set, with composited effects and even a few movie style lens flares to set the tone!

Nickelodeon And Viacom Consumer Products Names St. Petersburg, Russia-Based Riki Group As Master "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" Licensee For Russia, CIS And Baltic Countries

The TMNT "Secret Sewer Lair Playset," for example, is expected to develop into one of the most in-demand toys for the 2012 holiday gift season.

But around the world, business keeps rolling along, as Nickelodeon & Viacom Consumer Products assigns Riki Group (St. Petersburg, Russia) as the master licensing agent for the ninja turtle series, for the Russian, CIS, and Baltic markets. Riki Group is quoted as planning a cross-selling, franchise-building campaign for the property in tandem with TMNT's November 2012 local launch.

A slew of international broadcasters across Russia, Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) have secured TV deals with Viacom International Media Networks for Nickelodeon programming.

Free-to-air broadcaster 2×2 has signed Nickelodeon's Legend of Korra, while Kazakhstan's NTK has landed a Nickelodeon-branded block, including iCarly season two, Big Time Rush season one, True Jackson VP season one, Bubble Guppies seasons one and two, Wonderpets seasons one and two, SpongeBob SquarePants season seven, and a renewal of seasons five and six, Penguins of Madagascar episodes 227 to 239, Kung Fu Panda season one, a renewal of iCarly season 1 and Supah Ninjas season one.

In Romania, CMA has acquired SpongeBob SquarePants episodes one to 164, Bubble Guppies season one, and Dora the Explorer seasons one to three, and five and six.

Macedonia's MRTV has snapped up SpongeBob SquarePants seasons one to seven, Dora the Explorer seasons one to six, Go, Diego Go! seasons one to four, Penguins of Madagascar seasons one and two, Kung Fu Panda season one and Avatar: The Last Airbender seasons one to three.

In Lithuania, LNK's Nick block includes Dora the Explorer, Kikoriki, SpongeBob SquarePants, Fairly Odd Parents, Kung Fu Panda, Victorious, Big Time Rush, iCarly, Penguins of Madagascar and T.U.F.F Puppy, while Markiza Slovakia's block includes seasons one and two of Spongebob SquarePants and Penguins of Madagascar and Kung Fu Panda season one.

Audiences in Ukraine will see T.U.F.F Puppy, Planet Sheen and Fanboy & Chum Chum following a deal signed with the country's STB channel, and the Baltics' Viasat has inked a Nick package deal covering SpongeBob SquarePants relicenses on seasons one to six and seasons seven and eight, Kung Fu Panda season one, relicenses on Penguins of Madagascar season one and two, as well as season three presales on Planet Sheen season one, T.U.F.F Puppy season one and The Troop season one.

BBC Worldwide Appoints Former Nickelodeon Online Staff Member Michael Fleshman As Senior Vice President Of Consumer Digital Technology

BBC Worldwide hires Fleshman as SVP Consumer Digital Technology

MUMBAI: Former Financial Times CTO and CIO Michael Fleshman has taken up a new role within BBC Worldwide's Consumer Digital business, overseen by MD and EVP of Digital, Daniel Heaf.

Fleshman is tasked with developing the technology needed to drive a further step change in BBC Worldwide's digital revenue. He'll take responsibility for the technology delivering all BBC WorldwideĆ¢€™s commercial digital businesses including Global iPlayer, TopGear.com and BBCShop.com.

His appointment further indicates BBC Worldwide's commitment to becoming a leader within the digital sphere and building its reputation and presence within international markets.

Fleshman is based in the UK and will work with teams in the UK, New York, Singapore and Oakland, who together will execute BBC Worldwide's Consumer Digital strategy to delivery digital experiences to all consumers across multiple devices and across multiple brands.

Heaf said, "Our digital business is growing fast and now represents 12.8 per cent of revenue to the business, up from 8.1 per cent during 2010/2011. While this is a fantastic achievement, we recognise there is much more to do. Michael is a highly respected and experienced technology professional with success in building global digital businesses at scale. I'm delighted to have him on board to support our
ambitions."

Fleshman said, "I have always had a great respect for the BBC Worldwide brand and am a great believer in its potential in the digital space. I am extremely excited that they have allowed me to play a part in building the business at this pivotal time for digital and look forward to working with Daniel and the team to execute our strategy."

Fleshman joins BBC Worldwide with over 20 years of experience in technology and product development across media, publishing and telecommunications. Prior to his appointment, Fleshman was CTO and CIO for the Financial Times, responsible for the technology strategy, architecture, development, and programme and portfolio management. He also oversaw technology operations and corporate IT systems for online, print and corporate technology functions, and had started work on unifying the historically separate IT and online functions at the FT. Fleshman also held similar roles at Nickelodeon Online/MTV Networks and AOL France.

Tributes go to Gulli, Monster, Jam Media

PARIS-- French digital terrestrial net Gulli and Ireland's Monster Entertainment and Jam Media topped the Cartoon Tributes Awards at the Cartoon Forum, the co-production mini-mart dedicated to European TV animation.

Lagardere-owned Gulli won broadcaster of the year, while Monster and Jam Media won the investor-distributor and producer nods, respectively.

Kids' channel Gulli broadcasts an eclectic mix of French and international shows, notably British fantasy-adventure series "Merlin" and local toon skeins like "Linus et Boon."

Dublin-based Monster finances and distributes TV series worldwide, notably the long-running, music-themed series "Planet Rock Profiles," which has sold to more than 168 countries.

Jam produces a range of shows that air around the world, including "Picme," a popular toon on PBS Kids Sprout in the U.S., Nickelodeon Junior worldwide and Irish broadcaster RTE; and "Roy," a live action-animation mockumentary airing in the U.K., Ireland, Australia and Scandinavia.
