Bei einer der Kollektionen wird die New Yorker Modedesignerin Sandy Liang im Rahmen der Zusammenarbeit von Vans und Nickelodeon ihre eigene Interpretation der Animationsserie und der Serienfiguren herausbringen. Nickelodeon Benelux Premieres 'Pokemon: Sun & Moon Ultra Legends', 'Pokémon Journeys: The Series'

Nickelodeon Benelux (BLX) premiered Pokemon: Sun & Moon Ultra Legends in March 2021 and Pokémon Journeys: The Series in April!


Locally titled Pokémon de serie: Zon & Maan - Ultra LegendesPokemon: Sun & Moon Ultra Legends is the 22nd season of the iconic Pokémon anime series.

The series will launch with two all-day marathons, airing over Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th March 2021 between 06:55 uur and 17:35 uur on Nickelodeon Netherlands (Nederland) and between 07:20 uur and 18:20 uur on Nickelodeon Flanders (Vlaanderen), respectively, kicking off with the season 22 premiere episode.

Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon – Ultra Legends follows the final adventures of Ash Ketchum and his classmates at the Pokémon school in the Alola region, and serves as the concluding season of Pocket Monsters: Sun & Moon (locally titled ポケットモンスター サン&ムーン, Poketto Monsutā: San & Mūn in Japan).

Ash has completed three of his four grand trials in the Alola region, and more adventures await as he and his classmates acquire new Z-Crystals, make new Pokémon friends, and learn how to Mantine Surf! In their role as Ultra Guardians, the Pokémon School students take on an important mission to protect Wela Volcano. Ash meets a new rival, Hau, whose Dartrix offers Rowlet quite a challenge. Even Rotom Dex gets an adventure of its own when our heroes visit the set of its favorite TV show! And Professor Kukui’s dream of starting a Pokémon League in Alola just might be getting closer to reality…

Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon – Ultra Legends made its debut on TV Tokyo in Japan on October 21, 2018, running for 54 episodes until November 3, 2019. The season premiered in the United States from March 23, 2019 to March 7, 2020 on Disney XD. The series aired on CITV in the U.K.

Nickelodeon gaat 'Pokémon'-marathons uitzenden

Of je nou jong of oud bent, ‘Pokémon’ gaat nooit vervelen. De tekenserie die we vroeger massaal keken op de beeldbuis, is ook op oudere leeftijd nog steeds verslavend. Goed nieuws is het dan ook dat Nickelodeon komend weekend een ‘Pokémon’-marathon uit gaat zenden.

Zorg dat je zaterdag en zondag niets hebt gepland, want op die dagen zullen alle afleveringen van het laatste seizoen, ‘Pokémon de serie: Zon & Maan – Ultra Legendes’, urenlang te zien zijn. Het wachten is voorbij! Na het succes van het laatste seizoen, “Pokémon de serie: Zon & Maan – Ultra Legendes”, komt Nickelodeon nu met het 23e seizoen van een van ’s werelds meest populaire animatieseries. “Pokémon Reizen: De Serie” is vanaf maandag 19 april iedere schooldag om 15:30 uur exclusief te zien op Nickelodeon in Nederland en om 16:00 uur in België. 

In het nieuwe 23e seizoen, “Pokémon Reizen: De Serie” heeft Trainer Ash Ketchum een nieuw plan voor ogen: de wereld ingaan! Maar niet voordat hij en zijn partner Pikachu zich klaarmaken voor de opening van het Cerise Laboratory, een onderzoeksinstituut dat zich bezighoudt met het ontrafelen van de mysteries van Pokémon in elke regio. Ash loopt hier tegen Goh aan, een jongen die ook een grenzeloze belangstelling voor Pokémon heeft. Beide jongens zijn dolblij wanneer Professor Cerise hun vraagt officiële onderzoekers te worden. New York - April 29, 2021 - In celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, a coalition of partners including the Ford and MacArthur Foundations have partnered with MTV Entertainment Studios to produce See Us Unite for Change, a first-of-its-kind special hosted by Ken Jeong and featuring notable AAPI celebrities and allies. The event will air on Friday, May 21st at 8PM EDT and will be simulcast nationally and worldwide across the platforms of the MTV Entertainment portfolio (MTV, Comedy Central, Paramount Network, Smithsonian Channel, Pop TV, VH1, CMT, TV Land and Logo) as well as BET and Nickelodeon and stream exclusively on Facebook Watch.


Through music and comedy performances, short film packages and speakers, the special aims to inspire and educate viewers about the impact that the AAPI community has had in America, as well as how to move forward and further support on-the-ground efforts to build solidarity against hate. The Executive Producers of this historic event are Sheila Lirio Marcelo, Founder of Care.com, and Jesse Collins, Kimmie Kim and Carol Donovan of Jesse Collins Entertainment.

  • The Smurfs TV Series (Premieres October 2021 on Nickelodeon) – Based on the globally iconic franchise, and in partnership with LAFIG Belgium and IMPS, The Smurfs is a brand-new original CG-animated TV series following Papa Smurf, Smurfette, Brainy, Hefty, Clumsy and others on a new set of adventures packed with humor, heart and high-stakes action.
  • The Universe of SpongeBob SquarePants – Nickelodeon has expansive content plans for its major franchises, led by one of the company’s largest global properties, the top-rated SpongeBob SquarePants. Following its first-ever spin-off, Kamp Koral: SpongeBob’s Under Years, an original CG-animated series which successfully launched on Paramount+ in March, the franchise is readying its next series with the July premiere of The Patrick Star Show on Nickelodeon. The Patrick Star Show is a family sitcom starring Patrick (Bill Fagerbakke) and his relatives, who come together to navigate the constant comedic disruptions caused by Patrick’s wild whims and surreal imagination. To save money, they’ve moved into their inherited Victorian fixer-upper, the historic Harper House.
  • The Neighborhood – Stars Cedric the Entertainer and Max Greenfield in a comedy about what happens when the friendliest guy in the Midwest moves his family to a neighborhood in Los Angeles where not everyone looks like him or appreciates his extreme neighborliness.
  • Twenties – Ranked as the #1 new comedy series on cable for African Americans P18-49 in 2020, and premiered to critical acclaim with its first-time portrayal of a masculine-presenting Queer woman of color as the lead in a primetime show.   • Tyler Perry’s Assisted Living – In season two of comedy series Tyler Perry’s Assisted Living, Mr. Brown, Cora and the gang open their assisted living facility, and a hilarious variety of personalities come to live in the home, bringing with them a ton of laughs and experiences. ViacomCBS Upfront Recap: More Emphasis on Mountain of Content, as Individual Networks Are Downplayed

ViacomCBS has spoken. The conglom leaned into what it deemed its “beautiful ecosystem” of “premium content” in a upfronts presentation that opened with “Survivor” host Jeff Probst leading ViacomCBS stars on a faux “Celebrity Survivor Casting Special.”

Leaning in on the idea of synergy inside the ViacomCBS, this year’s presentation made no real distinction between channel brands (except for a brief roundup of the CBS schedule at the very end — with a voiceover rushing through the lineup).

Unlike the CBS upfronts of old, when the network would highlight night-by-night strategy and programming initiatives in detail, the focus here was on hammering home the entire company’s library. ViacomCBS’ programming was promoted as one holistic slate, separated by genre: Dramas, comedies, reality/unscripted, kids and family, latenight/daytime, specials/events and sports/news.

“There’s something for everybody, giving our partners the largest possible audience,” Probst said.

The emphasis was on touting the reach of the entire company, which it says is “60 million monthly full-episode viewers.”

The “Celebrity Survivor Casting Special” bit ran about 20 minutes — nearly half the entire 45-minute presentation — and was broken up by faux advertisements (a gag that Fox employed with a more satirical edge earlier this week) promoting ViacomCBS’ “Eye Q” and “In-View Dashboard” advertising initiatives for media buyers.

In one brief mention of the various brands, and taking the “Mountain of Entertainment” launch campaign for Paramount Plus even further, a ViacomCBS map also included an “Isle of Partnership Possibilities.” That included “linear oasis” featuring CBS, a “Bakish Bay” where MTV and BET reside, and a “Sea of Transparency” where Nickelodeon and Comedy Central are. Then there was the “land of streams” with Pluto TV next to Paramount TV peak.

JoAnn Ross, the president and chief advertising revenue officer, ViacomCBS Domestic Advertising Sales, was the only exec on the program, and said she hoped next year’s upfront presentation would once again be in person.

“We hope we’ll all be face to face somewhere elegant eating and drinking and having a great time with you,” she said.

Later, “The Late Show” host Stephen Colbert did his part, sharing that “Viacom CBS is unleashing its biggest content slate ever. Yes, I said ‘unleashing’ and that’s not my word. That’s the company’s chosen word for what’s about to happen. They’re unleashing the content that will then maraud across the entertainment landscape like some ancient guardian beast awakened by an ill-conceived nuclear experiment.

“And the only way to appease the network Cthulhu is by selling off the branding rights, introducing the ‘Pineapple Fanta End of the World,’” he quipped. “We are number one, y’all, in viewership all across the important demos, diverse audiences and on social media. We are meme-ing all the TikToks and gram-tagging all the Venmos, hashtag on-fleek, fam! Facepalm, squad goals… You want to target left leaning tiny fedora-wearing ping pong enthusiasts with a pension for crime procedurals and strawberry lemonade popsicles but who have that thing where cilantro tastes like soap? We can do that.”
