In this episode of What Women Binge, Melissa Joan Hart sits down with her sister, Emily Hart, who played the beloved character Cousin Amanda … not our Amanda… on the hit TV show Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Emily shares what it was like growing up on set and being part of such an iconic show.

Did you know there were multiple Sabrina spin-offs starring Emily planned? One would of followed Cousin Marigold Wiccan (the mother of Emily's character, Amanda) who marries a mortal plumber; and the other would of followed Amanda at Witchright Hall, a school for maladjusted young witches.

Join Melissa and Emily as they take a trip down memory lane and discuss what it was like being part of one of the most beloved TV shows of the '90s.

How to Be a Bestie (Like A Boss) | Bossy Bear | Nickelodeon

And now Bossy Bear presents... how to a bestie - like a boss! Catch Nickelodeon’s brand-new animated preschool series Bossy Bear, debuting Monday, March 6, at 11 a.m. (ET/PT)!

Preschoolers will embark on outlandish misadventures with quintessential odd couple--Bossy Bear and Turtle--in Nickelodeon’s brand-new animated preschool series Bossy Bear, debuting Monday, March 6, at 11 a.m. (ET/PT).

From husband and wife team David Horvath and Sun-Min Kim (UglyDolls), and based on the popular book series by Horvath, the series (30 episodes) follows Bossy Bear, an overly-enthusiastic extrovert, and Turtle, a thoughtful introvert--unlikely besties who make the perfect team for navigating silly childhood adventures in their Koreatown-inspired city of Pleasantburg. Produced in partnership with Imagine Kids+Family, new episodes of Bossy Bear will continue to roll out Monday through Thursday at 11 a.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon during the month of March, with a series launch on Nick Jr. channels internationally later this year.

The first season of Bossy Bear will feature real-life couple Lance Bass and Michael Turchin in recurring guest voice roles as the parents to Ginger (Beahlen Deacon), Bossy Bear’s older sister Bissy’s bestie aka her “squirrelfriend.”  Bass and Turchin voice Tyler, a laid-back owl, and Greg, an intense chipmunk, respectively, who run a vegetarian and kosher food truck called Latke Love.

How to Rescue a Kite (Like a Boss!)

Rounding out the voice cast for Bossy Bear are series regulars: Jayden Ham (Sea of Lights, Star Wars: Jedi Temple Challenge) as Bossy, an extroverted bear whose big imagination and endless enthusiasm lands him in hilarious situations; Jaba Keh (Sesame Street) as Turtle, Bossy’s patient, pure-hearted and empathetic best friend; Claudia Choi (Her, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse) as Bossy’s Mom, the funny and athletic mother who has eyes in the back of her head and Gran-Gran, Turtle’s wise, loving grandmother who knows how to have a good time; and Shaun Baer (Chicago PD) as Bossy’s Dad, the store manager of an electronics shop who has a PhD in Dad jokes; and Viva Lee (Polaris, Deadly Class) as Bissy, Bossy’s older sister who thinks she knows everything about being an adult and can play an okay keytar.

How to Roller Skate (Like a Boss!)

In the March 6 series premiere, “Ultimate Hype Bear/The Chrysalis Crew/Just Say No,” Bissy is nervous to meet her favorite K-Pop band, so Bossy acts as her “Hype Bear” to give her confidence. Then, Bossy and Turtle discover a fallen chrysalis and become the ‘Chrysalis Crew’ to protect it. Finally, Turtle learns to speak up when Bossy and friends want to use his favorite toy as a soccer ball.

David Horvath and Sun-Min Kim are the creative minds behind the UglyDolls franchise. Horvath also penned the Bossy Bear book series (Hyperion), inspired by a blend of Korean and U.S. pop culture.

Bossy Bear is executive produced by: Imagine Entertainment Executive Chairmen Brian Grazer and Ron Howard; Imagine Kids+Family’s Elly Kramer Posner; Stephanie Sperber; David Horvath and Sun-Min Kim; Bob Mittenthal (It’s Pony, The Loud House) for Nickelodeon Animation; and Ashley Postlewaite (Tom and Jerry in New York, The Mr. Men Show) for Renegade Animation. Jeff D’Elia (Captain Underpants, Doug Unplugs, Rugrats) serves as story editor and Chil Kong is consulting producer.

Bossy Bear marks Nickelodeon’s third project with Imagine Kids+Family, following live-action adventure series The Astronauts and The Tiny Chef Show, starring the titular social media sensation and herbivore. Production of Bossy Bear for Nickelodeon Animation is overseen by Eryk Casemiro, Executive Vice President, Nickelodeon Animation, Global Series Content. Max Goodman serves as Nickelodeon’s Executive in Charge of Production for the series. Paramount Consumer Products will lead consumer products licensing for the Bossy Bear property worldwide in partnership with Imagine Kids+Family.

Warner Bros. Discovery Sues Paramount Global Over ‘South Park’ Licensing Dispute

HBO Max’s parent company has filed a lawsuit that accuses Paramount Global of reneging on parts of the $500 million licensing deal set in 2019 for the streaming rights to episodes of Comedy Central's hit animated series South Park.

©Comedy Central/Courtesy of Everett Collection

The suit, filed Friday (Feb. 24) in New York state Supreme Court, asserts that Paramount breached the contract by steering South Park specials and other content to its own Paramount+ platform.

The suit alleges that Paramount “blatantly intended to prop up Paramount+ at the expense of Warner/HBO,” and that Paramount engaged in “multiple and flagrant duplicitous contortions of fact and breaches of contract.”

“Warner/HBO brings this lawsuit to vindicate its rights and recover the hundreds of millions of dollars in damages incurred as a result of Defendants’ misconduct,” the suit alleges.

HBO Max set a whopping licensing pact with Paramount for rights to South Park episodes in October 2019 as then-parent company AT&T was preparing to launch the HBO Max streaming platform in May 2020.

South Park has been a staple of Paramount Global’s Comedy Central cable channel for more than 25 years. The enduring animated comedy, which hails from Trey Parker and Matt Stone, is in its 26th season and has amassed more than 300 episodes to date.

The lawsuit alleges that when HBO Max bid on the South Park streaming rights, it did so with the assurance that there would be three new seasons of 10 episodes each. The suit alleges, however, that only two episodes were delivered for the first of those seasons and only six for the second. HBO Max understands that the third season will also consist of of six episodes — for a total of 14 across the three seasons.

The suit alleges that new episodes are far more valuable than old ones, and that therefore HBO Max dramatically overpaid for the library.

Meanwhile, in 2021, MTV — a Paramount subsidiary — announced a $900 million deal with Parker and Stone for exclusive South Park content that would run on Paramount+. In the press release, an MTV executive was quoted as saying that the deal would “help fuel Paramount+.”

The suit also quotes Stone as saying, “We have f*ck you money now” in reference to the deal.

HBO Max argues that the deal required diverting content that should have fallen under its 2019 contract to Paramount+ instead. The suit alleges that Paramount engaged in “verbal trickery” and “grammatical sleight-of-hand,” characterizing the new content as “movies,” “films” or “events” — but not “episodes” — to avoid its obligations under the 2019 agreement.

Under the MTV deal, Paramount+ would get 14 “made for streaming” movies. Four of those “movies” have already run on Paramount+: South Park: Post Covid, South Park: Post Covid: The Return of Covid, South Park The Streaming Wars Part 1, and South Park The Streaming Wars Part 2.

In response, Paramount denied the allegations. The company also accused Warner Bros. Discovery of failing to pay the license fees that it owes under the agreement.

“We believe these claims are without merit and look forward to demonstrating so through the legal process,” a Paramount Global spokesperson said. “We also note that Paramount continues to adhere to the parties’ contract by delivering new South Park episodes to HBO Max, despite the fact that Warner Bros. Discovery has failed and refused to pay license fees that it owes to Paramount for episodes that have already been delivered, and which HBO Max continues to stream.”

FILA Celebrates 30th Anniversary of 'Rocko's Modern Life' With New Footwear Line

This year marks the 30th anniversary of Nickelodeon's '90s animated Nicktoons series Rocko’s Modern Life, and FILA has just the footwear to celebrate the beloved characters of O-Town!

Source: FILA

In collaboration with Paramount Consumer Products, FILA is launching a special collection of sneakers exclusively for fila.com, Foot Locker, and Champs Sports. Each shoe is adorned with familiar faces from the Nicktoon, bringing the characters of Rocko, Heffer, and Filburt out of the ’90s and into your next trendy outfit.

The FILA x Rocko’s Modern Life collection features three distinct styles. Each comes with Rocko’s Modern Life and FILA logos on the tongue, heel, upper liner, and sock liner, as well as custom packaging to spotlight each featured character.

Rocko | Source: FILA

The RML Rocko x Renno style honors the lovable wallaby protagonist. Crafted in nylon and suede and designed in a coral hue as a nod to Rocko’s footwear. The quarter features a vibrant graphic design that mimics the character’s colorful signature shirt. As the cherry on top, the sneakers are playfully embellished with images of Rocko and his faithful dog, Spunky. The Rocko x Renno sneakers are available for $100 or $90 for kids.

Heffer | Source: FILA

The RML Heffer x F-13 features red, light yellow and lavender hues, the colors of Rocko’s best friend Heffer Wolfe. The high-top shoe includes pony hair detailing on the strap and red and purple hues to pay homage to his trademark suspenders and red pants, while the character himself makes an appearance on the Fila flag. The Heffer x F-13 style is available for $90 or $80 for kids.

Filburt | Source: FILA

Finally, the RML Filburt x Original Fitness style plays on the characteristics of the turtle Filburt through its colorway and design. His turquoise skin and green shell with turquoise ovals are incorporated into the silhouette. His famous blue glasses appear on the heel, while an image of the character can be seen sitting on top of the FILA flag. The Filburt x Original Fitness shoes are available for $85 or $75 for kids.

Source: FILA

Starting on Feb. 28, the entire collection of men’s and kid’s footwear will be available on champssports.com and Champs Sports locations, while the men’s footwear will also be available on fila.com, footlocker.com, and Foot Locker locations.

To bring this collaboration to life and to further connect to the series’ devoted audiences, Fila and Nickelodeon tapped Carlos Alazraqui, who voiced the character of Rocko, to share his memories of playing the character over the past 30 years, while also highlighting the new collaboration.

Netflix to Add 'iCarly' Seasons 3-5 on March 31

Wake up members of my nation! Netflix will be adding iCarly seasons 3, 4 & 5 to its programming library on March 31! The news was first reported by our friends over at What's on Netflix.

In iCarly, Carly Shay (Miranda Cosgrove) finds her previously "normal" life turned upside down when her Internet show, iCarly, becomes an instant smash with young Web heads. With her parents traveling abroad, Carly must rely on the help of friends Sam (Jennette McCurdy) and Freddie (Nathan Kress), and her quirky older brother, Spencer (Jerry Trainor), to cope with the newfound success. The series also starred Noah Munck (The Goldbergs) as the gang's schoolfriend, Gibby.

iCarly originally ran on Nickelodeon for 97 episodes across six seasons between September 8, 2007 - November 23, 2012. Following the series finale of iCarly, McCurdy reprised her role for Sam & Cat, starring alongside Ariana Grande, who reprised her Victorious character, Cat Valentine. Sam & Cat ran for 35 episodes between June 8, 2013 - July 17, 2014.

In 2021, Paramount+ debuted their iCarly revival series, in which most of the original cast reprised their respective roles. The series became an instant hit for the streamer and has been renewed for season three, set to debut on Paramount+ later this year.

Notable guest stars in seasons 3, 4 & 5 of iCarly include: Jane Lynch as Sam's mother, Pam Puckett; Jack Black as Aspartamay; the cast of Victorious as their respective characters; Kenan Thompson; Jim Parsons as Caleb; Michelle Obama; and Taran Killam as a Secret Service Agent.

SNEAK PEEK: Bossy Bear Performs a Song For Super Flock! 🎤 w/ Turtle & Bissy | Nick Jr.

Bossy Bear and his older sister, Bissy, get to meet their favorite K-Pop band, Super Flock! Bossy Bear helps Bissy perform her favorite song when things don't go right! Bossy Bear is a brand-new animated show premiering March 6th at 11am EST on Nick Jr.!

Nickelodeon gets Real Mature in this pilot for a sketch show from 1991!

Filmed at Nickelodeon Studios at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida, Real Mature was set to be a kids-themed sketch comedy show with wacky themes and a different guest on each episode. The pilot featured Jennifer Badger, Jim Brewsky, Matt Brown, Candace Cameron Bure, Jodi Carlisle, Devin Clark, Maria Glenon, Jay Martel, Brian Edward O'Connor (as Brian O'Connor), and Christian Tessier.

Real Mature was produced by Eileen Braun, Geoffrey Darby, Roseanne Lopopolo and future Nickelodeon President Herb Scannell, who between them worked on many Nickelodeon shows, including: Clarissa Explains It All, Welcome Freshmen, The Weinerville Chanukah Special, The Weinerville New Year's Special: Lost in the Big Apple, Make the Grade, Double Dare, Nick Rocks Video House Party, Rated K: For Kids by Kids, You Can't Do That on Television, Rich Hall's TV Dinner Party, Finders Keepers, The Tomorrow People, What Would You Do?, Get the Picture, Hi Honey, I'm Home, and Mystery Magical Special.

"This was a pilot we made for ABC in the spring of 1991.  It aired on the ABC Network in the FCC mandated Family Viewing Hour Sunday at 7p." notes Darby in the video's description, adding "ultimately it was not picked up by ABC because the Network Ad Sales Team didn't know how to position it for the advertisers. It's the raw copy, so the commercial breaks are included. you will have to fast forward through them.  My apologies."
