The Nickelodeon star and YouTube sensation – who's just released her latest EP “Celebrate” – recently teamed up with Nickelodeon for her upcoming birthday special, JoJo’s Dream Birthday, which is set to give viewers an inside look at the 24 hours surrounding the superstar's Sweet 16 birthday, held at the The W Hotel in Hollywood! There was no shortage of famous faces in attendance, including North West, Penelope Disick, fellow YouTuber Colleen Ballinger and Dance Mom Abby Lee Miller!

Nickelodeon and Batavo Launch 'PAW Patrol' Branded Dairy-Based Snacks and Deserts in Brazil

Nickelodeon Brazil (Brasil), through its product licensing department, has announced that it has partnered with Batavo to launch a range of dairy-based snacks and deserts for children inspired by Nickelodeon's hit CG-animated preschool series PAW Patrol!


Titled Batavinho Cremoso da Patrulha Canina, the line is based on quark cheese, which has seen great success in Europe, and features five delicious flavours: vanilla and strawberry (in 320g packaging), strawberry petit suisse (containing more vitamins and minerals) and chocolate and white chocolate to make dessert even yummier. The whole line features packaging featuring characters from the show, and packs in a lot of flavor, nutrition and fun for children's daily lives.

PAW Patrol has seen huge success in Brazil and across the world. The beloved pups are also set to embark on their biggest adventure yet in PAW Patrol: Mighty Pups, set to be released in cinemas across Brazil on Thursday 6th June 2019! In their first movie, the pups gain superpowers and embark on a colourful story, full of fantasy and mysteries!

Nickelodeon’s brand-new version of its legendary sketch comedy series, All That, returns on Saturday, June 15, at 8:30 p.m. (ET/PT), with an all new cast and performance by Grammy® nominated multiplatinum powerhouse Jonas Brothers. The premiere also features appearances from legacy cast members Kel Mitchell, Lori Beth Denberg and Josh Server, who helped make the original series a 90s icon for an entire generation of kids. Executive produced by original cast member Kenan Thompson, All That will air weekly on Saturdays at 8:30 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon.

As the countdown to the premiere begins, the show opens with Mitchell, Denberg and Server imparting advice and words of wisdom to the new cast of All That sharpens their comedic skills. Coming this season, classic roles are reprised in some of the series’ most memorable sketches including: Mitchell as fast-food slacker “Ed” in “Good Burger”, Denberg dropping some hilarious new advice in “Vital Information” and appearing as “Ms. Hushbaum,” the hypocritical “Loud Librarian”. Additional guest stars will be announced at a later date.

The Jonas Brothers will close the show with a performance of their smash hit “Sucker,” which debuted at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 and the US Hot Digital Songs chart.

The new cast members of Nickelodeon’s All That are:

· Ryan Alessi – Born and raised in Chicago, Ryan Alessi, 14, began studying improv comedy at age eight with The Second City Improvisational Comedy Troupe. After moving to Los Angeles, he started studying with The Groundlings and developing his own characters and performing various impressions and accents.

· Reece Caddell – A Denver native, Reece Caddell, 12, started acting at the age of five and began performing sketch comedy when she started a YouTube channel with her two older sisters.

· Kate Godfrey – Kate Godfrey, 15, is an actress, singer and dancer from Scottsdale, Ariz. She began her career in her local community theater at the age of nine and was quickly accepted to the Broadway Youth Ensemble where she performed in New York City.

· Gabrielle Green – Gabrielle Green, 14, moved to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career after studying theatre at BAK Middle School of Performing Arts in West Palm Beach, Fla. Her credits include acting, voiceover work and working as a brand representative.

· Nathan Janak – Originally from Sugar Land, Texas, Nathan Janak, 14, began acting at six years old. In 2016, he participated in a nine-month intensive actor training program and later moved to Los Angeles. Janak has previously been seen as a guest star in Nickelodeon’s Henry Danger.

· Lex Lumpkin – Lex Lumpkin, 13, is an actor, singer, writer, impressionist and pianist from Indianapolis. His acting career began two years ago when he played the role of “Stuart” in the Indianapolis Repertory Theater’s production of Stuart Little.

· Chinguun Sergelen – Raised in Chicago, Chinguun Sergelen, 13, began acting at age nine. He is a Youth Ensemble member at The Second City Training Center Chicago and Laugh Out Loud Theater.

Shot in front of a live studio audience, this season All That will introduce an all-new cast of kids to a new generation of fans, along with original comedic sketches, beloved ones, new characters and impersonations of today’s popular celebrities. Each new episode will also feature a musical performance from today’s top artists, and guest stars from the worlds of TV, film, comedy and more.

All That was Nickelodeon’s longest running live-action series with 171 episodes across 10 seasons from 1994 to 2005. The franchise paved the way for a number of successful spinoffs including Kenan & Kel, The Amanda Show and The Nick Cannon Show, the feature-length film Good Burger, as well as audio recordings, books, festival tours, and numerous reunions celebrating the show’s impact on pop culture.

All That helped launch the careers of comedy stars including Kenan Thompson, Amanda Bynes and Nick Cannon, and has featured musical guests and guest stars including Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Usher, Ray Romano and Brittany Snow. All That was created by Brian Robbins and Mike Tollin.

The premiere of the brand-new The Loud House special "Friended! With the Casagrandes" on Nickelodeon USA on Monday, May 27, 2019 at 1 p.m. (ET/PT) scored the top spot in its time period with Kids 2-11 and Kids 6-11 and averaged a 1.9/453K with Kids 2-11, posting year-over-year gains with Kids 6-11 (1.8/267K, +13%) and drew 920K total viewers!

The all-new special, featuring Ronnie Anne and her extended family, the Casagrandes, kicked off the fourth season of Nickelodeon's Emmy Award-winning animated series.

Season four premieres of the hit series continue with two weeks of new episodes featuring the Casagrandes, Monday, June 10, through Thursday, June 13, at 11:00 a.m. (ET/PT) and Monday, June 17, through Thursday, June 20, at 11:00 a.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon USA.

NEW YORK -- Nickelodeon has renewed some of the biggest hits in preschool TV: PAW Patrol, Bubble Guppies, Abby Hatcher and Butterbean's Café. The renewals - a seventh season of PAW Patrol, a fifth season of Bubble Guppies and second seasons of Abby Hatcher and Butterbean's Café - are part of the network's new content slate and ever-expanding powerful preschool portfolio. Nickelodeon is currently home to nine of the top 10 preschool shows on all TV, including number-one ranked PAW Patrol. Year to date, Nick is the number-one basic cable network for Kids 2-5, Kids 2-11 and Kids 6-11.


In the seventh season of PAW Patrol (26 half-hour episodes, produced by Spin Master Entertainment), the heroic pack of pups - Chase, Marshall, Rubble, Skye, Rocky, Zuma, Everest and Tracker - go on super-charged adventures after receiving all-new abilities when a super power replicating baddie, the Copycat, arrives in Adventure Bay. Then, the PAW Patrol travel to Dino Land where they meet new pup and dinosaur expert, Rex. Together, the guppies will dance, sing, play and learn valuable lessons as they embark on all-new underwater adventures. Set to a soundtrack of catchy, educational pop songs, Bubble Guppies features a curriculum that infuses the core elements of kindergarten readiness, including math, literacy, the arts, science and socio-emotional development.


In the second season of Abby Hatcher (26 half-hour episodes, produced by Spin Master Entertainment), Abby and her best Fuzzly friend Bozzly lend a helping hand to some new Fuzzly pals as they explore their incredible hotel home, encounter a shuttle bus full of surprises and zoom off to new locations with Abby's souped-up bike and Fuzzly-finding gear. Abby Hatcher features a social-emotional curriculum highlighting empathy, compassion and problem-solving skills.


Season two of Butterbean's Café (20 half-hour episodes) continues to follow Butterbean, her fairy friends - Dazzle, Poppy, and Jasper - and her little sister Cricket, as they use teamwork to successfully run their neighborhood cafe and whip up healthy snacks and sweet treats for the citizens of Puddlebrook. Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III: First Look at Issue #2

The Crisis in a half shell continues


Who could have guessed that Batman and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles would wind up being two great tastes that taste even greater together? DC Entertainment and IDW are continuing their hot streak of hilariously over-the-top collisions between the rain-slicked gloom of Gotham and the cartoon color of the Turtles’ New York City with Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III--the third and final miniseries in the crossover saga. And this time, TMNT co-creator Kevin Eastman is getting in on the action alongside writer James Tynion IV and artist Freddie Williams II. While the first miniseries brought the villainous Foot Clan to Gotham and the second brought longtime Batman foe, Bane, to NYC, the third series is getting bigger than ever before as Krang--though probably not the Krang you might be familiar with--poses a threat to the multiverse itself.

That’s right, the weird and wild world of Batman/TMNT is going full Cosmic Crisis as Krang is mixed in with the Anti-Monitor. And that’s only the beginning of Batman/TMNT III’s reimagining of classic characters: The Turtles themselves all borrow looks from the roster of Robin alumni like Red Hood and Nightwing while Joker is now the Shredder-like leader of the terrifying Smile Clan.

Issue #2 continues the multiversal insanity as Batman and the Turtles are pitted against strange black-and-white doppelgangers of themselves that may or may not be from some other dimension. Or, maybe, something even more insidious is at play.

The worlds of Batman and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are undergoing a crisis in Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III, the third crossover comic between the caped crusader and the heroes in a half shell. For one thing, the continuities of the two universes have been merged, with Batman and the Turtles living together and sharing characteristics, with Turtles dressed like Robins and a Shredder/Joker mash-up.

And now, Batman and the Robin-Turtles have come face-to-face with someone claiming to be the original Raphael, in authentic black and white just like the original Eastman and Laird comics. And to prove he’s the real thing, he’s able to easily kick all five of their asses while simultaneously recounting his own origin story.

NEW YORK--Nickelodeon and The Pantone Color Institute have partnered to create official SpongeBob Yellow and Patrick Star Pink colors in commemoration of the 20th Anniversary of SpongeBob SquarePants, one of the most iconic TV series and characters ever created. Nickelodeon is celebrating 20 years of SpongeBob SquarePants with the “Best Year Ever”—a tribute to the number-one kids’ animated series on TV that has generated a universe of beloved characters, pop culture catchphrases and memes, theatrical releases, consumer products, a Tony award-winning Broadway musical and a global fan base.

“For two decades, SpongeBob SquarePants has inspired millions of people,” said Charlotte Castillo, Senior Vice President, Franchise Planning, Viacom Nickelodeon Consumer Products. “From our partnership with the Pantone Color Institute to our collaborations with artists around the world – we’re commemorating SpongeBob’s 20th Anniversary by celebrating his optimism, imagination and creativity.”


“We were very honored to partner with Nickelodeon on the creation of colors for these two globally iconic characters. In celebration of the SpongeBob Yellow launch, Nickelodeon is asking fans to show their love of SpongeBob by wearing their #SpongeBobYellow on Tuesday, June 4 and post their looks to @SpongeBob on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.


Brazilian-born, Miami-based international pop artist Romero Britto reimagined SpongeBob in his trademark vibrant, bold and colorful patterns.

In addition to the Pantone Color Institute partnership, Nickelodeon also collaborated with artists around the world to create unique interpretations of SpongeBob.

Britto creates art to reflect his optimistic view of the world around him, and his iconic style has been described in the media as exuding “warmth, optimism and love”. Britto’s SpongeBob mixed-media art installation will be exhibited at a pop-up SpongeBob experience in Los Angeles later in the year; and Viacom Nickelodeon Consumer Products (VNCP) is in discussions with partners to translate his original SpongeBob creation to product.

“It is a huge honor for me to create an art piece that celebrates such a beautiful anniversary as the iconic SpongeBob,” said Britto. “He is a character loved by millions of children and families, including my own. My son grew up watching SpongeBob, and so this piece is such a special one that brings me happiness. I feel privileged and thankful to be a part of this partnership that can now be enjoyed by everyone around the world.”


Britto, UK-born artist, Jon Burgerman, known as the purveyor of doodles, created 50 SpongeBob pieces in his unique 'doodle' art style.

Burgerman added: “I love the whole world of SpongeBob, from the characters, the settings and most of all the humour (and heart) of the show. Stephen Hillenburg created a classic, and it’s an honour to be part of this collaboration.”

In Asia, Secret Fresh--a collective of Filipino artists representing a variety of mediums, including graffiti, comics, film, animation, music, architecture, sculpture, fine art and design-- also collaborated with Nickelodeon on the project. Secret Fresh’s artists used SpongeBob as inspiration for limited-edition art, toys and prints.

Artists include Christian Tamondong and Ronald Ventura alongside 20 other artists whose expressions of SpongeBob ranged from canvas paintings to porcelain and polystone figurines. The pieces will be showcased at an upcoming Secret Fresh gallery exhibition, and VNCP are in discussions with retailers to bring the creations to stores across Asia.

SpongeBob’s 20th Anniversary also features the Friday, July 12, premiere of “SpongeBob’s Big Birthday Blowout,” an original mixed live-action and animated special, and leads up to the Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies theatrical, “The SpongeBob Movie: It's a Wonderful Sponge,” opening in May 2020.

SpongeBob gets artsy for 20th anniversary

Working with artists and design companies like Pantone, Nickelodeon is hoping to breathe fresh life into the 20-year-old IP and inspire unique products in new categories, says SVP of franchise planning Charlotte Castillo.

SpongeBob SquarePants is ready to blow out the birthday candles and unwrap new licensing opportunities. In celebration of the brand’s 20th anniversary, Nickelodeon is partnering with a number of artists to create new interpretations of the famous yellow sponge. All of the new art and interpretations on the well-known brand will then be available for licensing partners to use in the future and are expected to inspire new consumer products to celebrate this anniversary.

One collaboration will see Pantone—the design company best known for its proprietary color matching system—create SpongeBob SquarePants Yellow and Patrick Star Pink. Now those colors will be available for any future licensing partners, to get everything exactly right. It will also be part of the Pantone color library for people who work on fields such as packaging, print, textiles and plastics.

“The partnership with Pantone is a celebration of that super recognizable yellow,” says Charlotte Castillo, SVP of franchise planning for Viacom Nickelodeon consumer products. “We feel a real sense of ownership around that shade, and now with SpongeBob SquarePants Yellow we’re setting a new standard for partners in the future.”

Artists like Jon Burgerman and Romero Britto were encouraged to reinterpret SpongeBob in their own style as part of the year-long celebration. Burgerman is known for his doodles (pictured below) and has created 50 unique SpongeBob pieces in his art style. Britto’s iteration was created in his colorful style (pictured at the top of story). He is also working on a mixed-media piece that will be shown at a SpongeBob 20th anniversary pop-up event later this year (the location and date will be announced at a later time). Secret Fresh, meanwhile, is an artist collective based in the Philippines and has tasked more than 20 artists with creating their own takes on the series, ranging from paintings to porcelain figurines. Viacom Nickelodeon’s consumer products team is in discussions with retailers to bring some of these iterations to stores across Asia.

For all of the artists, licensees and retailers are expected to bring product to shelves starting in Q4, through to spring/summer 2020.

“Something we’ve always leaned into is how many different people relate to SpongeBob, and how they interpret him in unique ways,” Castillo says. “In terms of retail, we’re working with these interpretations in a few different ways, including apparel and collectibles.”

In addition to offering these artists’ interpretations to existing licensing partners to use as inspiration, Nickelodeon will also ink new deals to create consumer products inspired by the artwork. First up, it’s looking at the homewares category and how it can incorporate this new art into prints.

“It’s important to keep giving our licensees fresh, new takes on the characters,” Castillo says. “This is also an opportunity for us to create new partnerships and break into different categories.”

These partnerships come as Nickelodeon continues to celebrate the July 1999 premiere of SpongeBob SquarePants with content and consumer products. Previously announced efforts include a new product line from master toy partner Alpha Group and a dedicated YouTube channel for the brand. The year-long celebration will end in 2020 with the summer premiere of the feature film The SpongeBob Movie: It’s a Wonderful Sponge, from Nickelodeon Movies and Paramount Pictures.

SpongeBob’s birthday comes in a year full of major milestones, including Barbie’s 60th anniversary and Sesame’s 50th birthday, which brands are using as an opportunity to not just slap a birthday banner up but refresh their offerings with new products and new looks.
