Brian Tee Cast To Play Shredder In "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2"

Variety is reporting the Turtley Awesome news that Brian Tee ("The Wolverine") has been cast as the iconic villain Shredder in Nickelodeon Movies, Paramount Pictures and Platinum Dunes' "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2", a sequel to Nick and Paramount's 2014 fun-filled and action-packed blockbuster "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" movie!

He'll join Megan Fox (April O’Neil), Will Arnett (Vern Fenwick), Stephen Amell (Casey Jones) and Tyler Perry (Baxter Stockman) in the Paramount sequel.

Tee recently finished filming NBC drama pilot "Love Is a 4 Letter Word" from director George Tillman Jr. and writer-producer Diana Son. He'll next be seen in Universal's "Jurassic World", playing the role of Takashi Hamada. No stranger to popular franchises, Tee's credits also include "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift" and "Mortal Kombat: Legacy".

Tee is repped by Abrams Artists Agency, manager Lisa DiSante-Frank, Sabrina Hutchinson Public Relations and attorney Mark Johnson of Behr, Abramson, Levy.

Shredder was portrayed by Tohoru Masamune in the 2014 movie.

Nickelodeon USA To Debut "Holiday in the Sun" On Friday 8th May 2015

The television listings website Zap2it is reporting the exciting Nick News that Nickelodeon USA will debut the movie "Holiday in the Sun", starring Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen, on Friday 8th May 2015 at 7:00pm ET/PT, following a new episode of Mary-Kate and Ashley's popular sitcom "So Little Time", called "Rules of Engagement", at 6:30pm ET/PT!


"Holiday in the Sun" follows Madison and Alex, twin sisters who are whisked away to the Bahamas for winter break but soon find themselves crossing paths with a man smuggling stolen artifacts. The movie also features Megan Fox ("Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles", "Transformers") in one of her first roles!

To celebrate Nickelodeon USA recently acquiring the rights to the content library of Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen, featuring four series, seven TV movies and two music video specials starring the actresses, nick.com has unveiled the networks official Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen website, which features videos, including full episodes of "So Little Time", information about the twins and a message board/forum!

Nickelodeon Netherlands (Nederland) has announced the exciting Nickelodeon International news in the following press release, from Nick Netherlands' online press office, that, following the success of "Zoop" and "Huis Anubis", Nickelodeon Netherlands will start to premiere and show "Spotlight", a brand-new locally produced series, weekdays at 7:30pm from Monday 25th May 2015! "Spotlight" is all-new new scripted reality series set at Podium, a drama school that specialises in the development of artistic talent in the entertainment industry. The series offers the viewer a glimpse into the lives of five young talented students at the theatrical school where pupils are groomed for a career in the spotlight.

In "Spotlight", students Sanne, Lynn, Fem, Kess and Joris share their wishes, dreams, mischief, fears and setbacks with viewers. They show the bumpy road to adulthood: from new friendships to being the best in your dance class, and singing a song about your first love. All with the goal of life in the spotlight. 'Spotlight' is een nieuwe scripted reality serie en speelt zich af op theaterschool 't Podium. Een school die naast regulier onderwijs, zich specialiseert in de ontwikkeling van artistiek talent in de entertainment branche.

Deze nieuwe Nederlandse serie gunt de kijker een kijkje in het leven van vijf jonge talentvolle scholieren op een bijzondere middelbare school waar leerlingen worden klaargestoomd voor een carrière in de spotlights.

Tia Mowry-Hardrict Hints At "Sister, Sister" Revival

Digital Spy is reporting the exciting TV news that the classic Nickelodeon UK comedy series "Sister, Sister" could be the next '90s sitcom to follow in the footsteps of "Full House" and "Boy Meets World" with a television revival!


The comedy series starred Tia Mowry-Hardrict and Tamera Mowry-Housley as teenage twins reunited under one roof years after being separated at birth.

Whilst appearing on "The Meredith Vieira Show" on Friday 1st May 2015, Tia was asked about a possible comeback for "Sister, Sister" in the future.

"So many people, they want to see us back", Tia replied. "And you know, I would love to. It's just all about timing!"

The actress added that fans should not give up hope in Sister, Sister returning in some form.

"I am working on a show right now and my sister is working on a show, so we'll see", she explained. "The fans, they really want it, so we'll give it to them probably."

Tia currently stars in the popular Nickelodeon sitcom "Instant Mom", and her twin Tamera is a co-host on panel show "The Real".

Tia also recently had a small "Sister, Sister" reunion when her former co-star Marques Houston, who played Roger Evans on the popular show, visited her on the set of "Instant Mom"!



"Sister, Sister" originally aired on ABC in the USA between 1994 to 1995, before switching network to the now-defunct WB. The series aired on Nickelodeon UK and Nickelodeon Australia between the mid-1990s and mid-noughties, where it was a fan favourite.

Two Potential Brand-New Nickelodeon Comedy Series Announced

Francesca Martin, who played Kaylee in the popular Canadian teen sitcom "Life with Boys", has announced the exciting news in a series of posts on her official Twitter profile page, @ImFrancescaM, that she is currently working on a pilot for a potential brand-new comedy series for Nickelodeon and TeenNick called "Heavy Metal" (working title)!


Additionally, Minuteman News Center is reporting the further exciting news that Nickelodeon is currently developing a brand-new half-hour comedy series based on author Lian Dolan's ("Elizabeth the First Wife", "Helen of Pasadena") popular weekly podcast "The Chaos Chronicles", which features a humorous look at modern motherhood, for Nick At Nite (Nick @ Nite)!

Nickelodeon Orders "Make It Pop" Season Two

Nickelodeon USA has announced in a Tweet on their official Twitter profile page, @NickelodeonTV, that Nickelodeon has ordered a second season of the networks new musical comedy series "Make It Pop"!

"Make It Pop" is a brand-new comedic, music-infused daily strip about three unique girls who come together to start their own K pop- inspired band. Randomly selected to room together at boarding school, three freshman girls – bookish Corki (Erika Tham), fashion forward Jodi (Louriza Tronco), and social media maven Sun Hi (Megan Lee) – meet and bond over music. With the help of fellow boarding school classmate and DJ hopeful, Caleb (Dale Whibley), the girls grow from roommates to bandmates as their band, "XO-IQ", becomes a school-wide sensation and they compete for a place in the upcoming school musical.

The series, which will feature original songs and performances in every episode, is co-created by Thomas W. Lynch and Nick Cannon and produced by DHX Media.
