Leomil, Pinkfong and Nickelodeon Partner for Baby Shark Footwear Collection

Leomil, part of The Cortina Group, has announced that it is delighted to expand its footwear portfolio with the new preschool hit Baby Shark! This loveable earworm has been captivating fans and monopolizing pop culture since it first broke the Internet in 2015.


Now, Nickelodeon and Pinkfong, the brands behind “Baby Shark”, have partnered with Leomil, to present a fantastic Baby Shark-branded collection following a deal brokered by WildBrain CPLG. This first collection will be available for back-to-school 2020 (as part of the company's Winter '20 range) in Europe and Middle East.

Leomil has created a bold, colorful and fun collection which really encapsulates what makes Baby Shark so popular. Nickelodeon, a division of ViacomCBS Networks, and SmartStudy, the global entertainment company behind the beloved children’s brand, Pinkfong, announced in June 2019 that they are partnering to develop a new original animated series based on Baby Shark for global distribution, while Viacom Nickelodeon Consumer Products (VNCP) will be managing consumer products licensing worldwide, excluding Asia, for the property. Nickelodeon's Baby Shark animated series is currently in production, with the network currently seeking staff to work on the show, and is slated to premiere Baby Shark during early 2021.

Most recently, Nickelodeon released the "Wash Your Hands Song" song and music video featuring Baby Shark and other fan-favourite Nick Jr. characters, including the PAW Patrol and the Bubble Guppies to encourage preschoolers to wash their hands, as part of the network's #KidsTogether campaign, which aims to engage with kids and families on tips for staying healthy and also ideas for activities to do together while in the home during the global COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.

Announcing their new Baby Shark footwear range on their website, Leomil said:
