The Free Comic Book Day (FCBD) Retailer Selection Committee has announced the exciting news that they have selected Dark Horse Comics' AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER / THE LEGEND OF KORRA as one of the Silver Sponsor Titles of Free Comic Book Day 2022!
AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER / THE LEGEND OF KORRA will feature stories and material inspired by both of Nickelodeon's beloved animated series, Avatar: The Last Airbender and its follow up The Legend of Korra from cartoonist Meredith McClaren and Kicking Shoes (the art team of Kelly & Nichole Matthews.)
Free Comic Book Day 2022, the industry's most anticipated annual event will take place on Saturday, May 7, at participating comic shops worldwide. In 2022, FCBD will return to its traditional “First Saturday in May” event date.
Comic Book Day 2022 will boast forty-six titles: eleven Gold Sponsor comics and thirty-five Silver Sponsor comics that give fans a great opportunity to discover new titles and genres.
The complete listing of all forty-six FCBD titles, including beloved franchises such as The Walking Dead, Sonic The Hedgehog, Pokémon, Avengers, and Street Fighter from publishers such as Dynamite Entertainment, BOOM!
