Nick Jr. Adventure Centre Set To Tour The UK This Summer

NICK JR. ADVENTURE CENTRE SET TO TOUR THE COUNTRY THIS SUMMER

For the first time ever, the Nick Jr. Adventure Centre will immerse family shoppers in a world of play with Blaze and the Monster Machines, Nella the Princess Knight, PAW Patrol, Rusty Rivets and Shimmer and Shine themed stations.


London, 31st May 2018 – This summer, throughout June and July, join and play with Nick Jr. favourites in the special Nick Jr. Adventure Centre as it visits select Asda, Tesco and Smyths stores across the country.

Kicking off on Saturday 9th June in Thurrock, Nick Jr.’s Big Five properties Blaze and the Monster Machines, Nella the Princess Knight, PAW Patrol, Rusty Rivets and Shimmer and Shine will each have dedicated play stations in the Adventure Centre.


From a Nella the Princess Knight themed transformation game, PAW Patrol Chase race, Rusty Rivets lab and Shimmer and Shine wishing station – there’s something for everyone to enjoy on the day.

Attendees are encouraged to share their photos from the day on Instagram with #nickjradventure to be in with the chance of winning one of 10 PAW Patroller toys up for grabs.

Activities in the Nick Jr. Adventure Centre are as follows:

Blaze Axel City Garage
  • A thinking challenge for kids and family members using the different wheels to reach and turn Blaze’s in order to fire up his engine and set him off

Nella Friend Match Transformation
  • A two player game where participants choose to be either Princess Nella or Nella Knight and take it in turns to match the character pairs
  • Participants then spin the Nella pictures to transform from Knight to Princess, for a fun face-through photo opportunity

PAW Patrol (2 Activities)
  1. Help Chase solve a puzzle by navigating the roads to reach HQ in PAW Patrol Chase Race
  2. A fun game where participants help Marshall rescue Chickaletta from the roof by building a ladder for him in PAW Marshall Rescue

Rusty Rivets Lab
  • A branded Rusty worksheet containing 4 different pre-cut robots that kids can stick together to create their very own rivet robot!

Shimmer & Shine Wishing Studio
  • Kids and grown-ups can get creative in a glitter studio by playing with glitter tattoos, making a wish and leaving it on a wish wall
  • Kids can get grown-ups to post images online

Blaze and the Monster Machines, Nella the Princess Knight, PAW Patrol, Rusty Rivets and Shimmer and Shine will each have dedicated play stations in a Nick Jr dome titled the Adventure Centre in order to increase affinity with the Nick Jr brand.

Attendees will be incentivised to share photos on Instagram to win prizes while a product display will give participants the chance to play with Nick Jr toys.

Activities will include the Blaze Axel City Garage, Nella Friend Match Transformation, PAW Patrol Chase Race and PAW Marshall Rescue, Rusty Rivets Lab and Shimmer and Shine Wishing Studio.
