Luckybar Partners with Nickelodeon for SpongeBob, PAW Patrol, Rise of the TMNT and JoJo Siwa-Branded Nutrition Bars for Kids

Luckybar Nickelodeon licensing partnership

Luckybar, a children’s protein bar created to help provide better nutrition for kids everywhere, has announced they are partnering with Nickelodeon, the number-one entertainment brand for kids, to launch exclusive licensed versions of their leading products. Launches at retail in March 2019 and sold in retailers nationwide in the U.S., properties featured on Luckybar packaging include PAW Patrol, SpongeBob SquarePants, Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and JoJo Siwa. Suggested Retail Price (SRP): $18.99 (18-pack)

Families can find their favorite Nickelodeon characters on four Luckybar flavors including Chocolate Campfire, Cosmic Chocolate Caramel Almond, Pirate Peanut Butter Chocolate and Strawberry Sandcastles. Nickelodeon character stickers will be included in each box as a bonus in each package. Little hands will be reaching for these protein bars, and parents will have peace of mind.

On the partnership, founder and CEO, Jamie Oberweger said, “Luckybars look, taste and feel like a treat to kids, and, at the same time parents know they are giving them a healthy snack packed with protein. Children will be so excited to see Luckybars with their favorite Nickelodeon characters. Moms and dads will be even more thrilled when they see the nutritional information on the box.”

Luckybar was created by Oberweger to help provide better nutrition for children. Her goal was to change the traditional thinking behind a kids protein bar formula by reversing the nutritional panel to have high protein and low sugar without unnecessary ingredients and fillers. These delicious bars are power-packed with more protein than two large eggs and are specially shaped for kid-sized hands. Additionally, by eliminating the traditional gritty consistency of most protein bars, Luckybar satisfies kids picky pallets and gives them a taste and texture which they are familiar with and love. Gluten-free, NON-GMO and free of artificial colors, flavors and preservatives, Luckybars check all of the right boxes for parents seeking simple, nutritious snacks for their developing children’s needs.

“Protein is essential for building and maintaining children’s muscles and bones, which makes this partnership so important for parents everywhere.” said Dr. Sareen Gropper, registered dietitian/nutritionist and university professor. “Nutrition is important at every age, however building a solid nutritional foundation begins during childhood.”
