Join the ride’s Grand Opening Celebration to meet Aang in person, enjoy magical treats, and secure a piece of Avatar memorabilia.
Yip Yip! Nickelodeon Universe® in Mall of America is thrilled to announce the grand opening of the newest Nickelodeon Universe attraction, Fly with Appa, on Saturday, March 23! The ceremony will take place all day, between 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Based off the beloved Nickelodeon animated series, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Fly with Appa has riders climb aboard their very own sky bison and feel the exhilaration as they take to the skies—enjoying stunning aerial views while traveling up, down + all around.
Fly with Appa will require 6 points to ride, and have a minimum height requirement of 48″, or 36″ with a chaperone. Chaperone policy: A chaperone is defined as a person who is qualified to ride and who, in the opinion of the ride operator, is capable of controlling the actions of the unqualified rider. Required chaperone does not pay to ride.
