About the department:

Nickelodeon UK's Creative Services department is responsible for the channel's on-air promotions, presentation and design, as well as the creation of marketing, client advertisements, sales tapes and cross channel promotions, whilst ensuring all campaigns are creatively aligned across digital and print. The Creative services department must ensure that Nickelodeon, Nicktoons and Nick Jr. deliver on their individual brand promises, while driving ratings and brand affinity.

The role:

The Creative Manager is responsible for all Nickelodeon creative on-network and off-network - working closely with the producers, graphics designers, print/digital designers, props and set designers to craft the Nickelodeon environment to be on-brand, meet goals and entertain and/or inform kids. A pivotal role within the creative department, which provides on and off air campaigns, promotions, packaging, design and branding for Nick UK's channel portfolio. The role will be based in London.

* Leading the creative development for all promo, stunts and 360 campaigns

* A driving force for Nickelodeon's creative integrity and ensuring all activity builds on Nickelodeon's brand architecture

* Maintain and continually enhance Nickelodeon's strong creative style and voice to a brief that will enhance the brand everywhere kids are

* Approve all on and off air campaign creative before leaving the department

* Attend/lead taskforce

* Maximise use of international campaigns

* Work with other departments to provide creative direction on localisation of content, such as re-voicing on programs

* Lead the team to drive new ideas

* To script, direct and cut on air promotions, campaigns, branding, packaging, commercials and sponsorship

* Provide expert advice to your team

* To work closely with the Director, Creative Services and Planning, Senior Creative Manager and Head of Marketing

What will you need to succeed:

* Extensive knowledge of the TV and post-production environment

* The ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast moving and very creative environment

* Excellent knowledge of the Nickelodeon UK brands and a very good understanding of competitors

* An enthusiasm for new creative technology and the desire to learn new skills.

* An understanding of digital platforms; web, mobile, social media etc

* Experience and the ability to work from creative briefs to conceptualise and articulate promotional ideas on a consistent basis

* Understanding and the ability to script, direct and cut on air promotions, campaigns, branding, packaging, commercials and sponsorship

* Previous experience of managing and owning budgets
