Nickelodeon has acquired the rights School of Roars, a popular 2D-animated preschool hit series from the award-winning production studio Dot To Dot Productions, and will debut the series exclusively on NOGGIN, Nickelodeon's ad-free, video subscription video on demand (SVOD) service for preschool children, in Brazil (Brasil) during September 2019!

School of Roars - Where Monsters go to GROWL and GROW!
Going to school for the first time is one of the biggest things you'll do in your life. You're away from home, fitting in with routines and learning so many new things ... whilst also getting along with a class full of new friends. It's exciting, but a massive change!
School of Roars helps children prepare for school life by exploring a child's first year through the relationships and experiences of the show's mini monsters: gentle giant Wufflebump, chatterbox Meepa, shy Icklewoo, brain box Wingston and greedy guts Yumble.
Because they're monsters, the little heroes go to school at night, led by teacher Miss Grizzlesniff (voiced by comedy legend Kathy Burke in the British dub). The class learn lessons on how to be monsters, like counting the legs on spiders in maths, how to howl at the moon in music, or making delicious Blushberry Blob Cakes in cookery. The little monsters experience life-lessons through their adventures such as caring, sharing, friendship and fun, mirroring the social and emotional behaviour and group dynamics of the show's audience, who are starting school.
“My character Miss Grizzlesniff is a monster-mazing teacher and very beautiful. She loves her class because every little monster is unique.
I was born to play Miss Grizzlesniff. I’ve got lots of friends that are little humans who are very excited about me being in School Of Roars,” said Burke.
Joining Miss Grizzlesniff are Mr Marrow, who is drafted in to help with the lessons, kindly school nurse MISS SNEEZLE with her bandage bats, sprays and tubs of ‘there-there’ cream; and of course, the all-important Head Monstress Mrs Twirlyhorn who oversees everything with efficiency. Other visitors include Mr Snapper the crocodile school photographer, Mr Bogglelots the optician, and the school inspector Ms Snarlebite.
School of Roars first premiered on February 6, 2017, and airs on ABC (Australia), RTP (Portugal), SVT (Sweden), YLE (Finland), TG4 (Ireland), ERR (Estonia), Television Broadcast (Hong Kong), UYoung (China), E-Vision (United Arab Emirates), Ceská Televize (Czech Republic), Rai Yoyo and DeAJunior (Italy), KiKA (German speaking territories, CBeebies (UK) and Universal Kids (US).
School of Roars (52 x 7-minute episodes) is from creator Alan Robinson and executive producers Jo Killingley (Dot To Dot Productions) and Sarah Legg (CBeebies). The series is distribution by ZDF Enterprises, with Lisle Licensing serving as the property's Licensing Agent.
The news comes as Nickelodeon is beefing up content on the NOGGIN platform in Latin America and Brazil, including with the acquisitions of Planeta de niños (Kids' Planet) and Rainbow Rangers.
