MONTREAL – NOVEMBER 2, 2021 – Kabam, in collaboration with Nickelodeon, today announced a new Avatar: The Last Airbender special event arriving in Shop Titans. Taking place Nov. 2-29, this limited-time event brings fan-favorite characters, attire, gear, and other familiar themes from the iconic animated series to the award-winning game world of Shop Titans.

Shop Titans (rated T for Teen by the ESRB) is a free-to-play Tycoon Simulation, Light Adventure RPG game on mobile and PC platforms. Set in a fantasy world filled with hilarious character-driven banter between their Champions and city Workers, players can become a fantasy shop tycoon by crafting epic weapons, managing a store to success, and building a team of adventurers to quest for loot. The game’s new Avatar: The Last Airbender in-game content launches today on the App Store, Google Play and Steam, allowing longtime series fans to experience their favorite characters and series themes in a brand-new setting. The crossover also marks the first time ever that Shop Titans fans can experience new content based on another popular entertainment property.

Shop Titans players will receive a variety of new content including a featured storyline alongside Champions Aang and Sokka as they lead heroes through quests. Alongside these interactions with fan favorites, the in-game event offers other Avatar: The Last Airbender experiences and gear. Shopkeepers can dress heroes up like their favorite Airbender, decorate their store with Lord Ozai’s Throne, adorn shop yards with a restful Appa, craft and sell iconic items like Sokka’s boomerang, and much more. Players will also find a new content pass reward track, new vanity items (Shopkeeper, Indoor/Outdoor display items), and new blueprints.

“As one of the world’s most beloved animated series, Avatar: The Last Airbender is a perfect fit for Shop Titans! Both are known for fantasy action and great storytelling filled with humor and charming characters,” said Tim Fields, CEO of Kabam. “Shop Titans is one of the gaming universe’s most original mobile experiences, and we wanted to give gamers and Avatar fans a chance to shop, craft, trade and adventure together. We couldn’t be more excited for this collaboration with Nickelodeon!”

Fans are invited to visit Shop Titans today to begin their very own Avatar: The Last Airbender shop experience! As part of the event, players will also see the wide release of two seasonal packs (the Fire & Air Pack on November 5, then Water & Earth Pack on November 19). ABOUT NICKELODEON’S AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER
Nickelodeon’s Avatar: The Last Airbender emerged from its three-season run (61 episodes), from February 2005 to July 2008, as one of the most beloved animated properties in history. In addition to the series’ success, the property has also been translated into several bestselling book series, which continue to roll out new original stories. Version 8.0.0 Release Notes

New Content

Avatar: The Last Airbender Content Pass

This month features an entirely new event; the Avatar: The Last Airbender Content Pass! Players will be given a series of tasks to accomplish during the month. Completing these tasks will grant you points towards the Content Pass event, unlocking exclusive rewards. Look forward to customizations themed around Aang’s gang, decorations, an exclusive pet (Momo!) and even some blueprints!

Players who feel they may not be able to make it, or simply want to rush to their favorite rewards, can also opt to spend gems to instantly unlock these rewards.

Content Pass Full Access

The Full Access section of the Content Pass is available exclusively for gems. Once purchased, its rewards become available for players with enough points.

Golden Tasks

Similar to bounties, you may notice a few golden tasks at the bottom of the list. These require some form of premium activity to complete (e.g crafting premium item lines, spending gems, being Royal Merchant, etc).

Despite this, regular tasks from the content pass provide enough points to reach the final milestone with some points to spare.

New Guest Champions

Aang, the Last Airbender

Hailing from distant lands... the Avatar has arrived! While his flying bison is resting, Aang will be happy to assist shopkeepers by going on quests as a Champion!

As a party leader, Aang will greatly increase his group’s Attack and Defense. In addition, Aang will also find bonus loot in the form of Elements!

Aang will visit player shops every day for a month, requesting various items in exchange for 5 Champion Coins. Check in daily!

Sokka, Water Tribe Warrior

Tagging alongside Aang, Sokka also joins the fray! Welcome to Team Avatar, shopkeeper!

As a party leader, Sokka is a versatile combatant that provides bonuses to his party’s ATK and HP. In addition, he also increases the quantity of components found AND XP earned by the party!

Unlike Aang, Sokka will only start visiting the player’s shop once they have earned some of his coins from the Content Pass. Once he does, he will visit daily, granting 5 Champion Coins for fulfilling his request.

Guest Champions

Guest Champions are a new category of Champions with a few special rules. Their most outstanding feature is that they are only available for a limited time. Once their time is up, they will leave the player’s roster.

Other special rules include:

Guest Champions may have a different maximum rank than other Champions. This means that they reach their final Leader Skill much faster.

Guest Champions still benefit from Power Up ranks once their maximum rank is reached.

Guest Champion appearances do not change with ranks.

Guest Champion Coins cannot be found in most places, such as chests and offers.

If a Guest Champion ever returns, they will keep their progress, such as level, rank, seeds, etc.

New Pet

A new pet, Momo the Winged Lemur, is now available for a limited time!

Momo is exclusive to the Content Pass, so if you’d like to have Aang’s best buddy hang around your shop, don’t miss it! Unlike Guest Champions, Momo can be kept forever once unlocked.

Major Changes

Decoration Duplicates

Up until now, any decoration received under special circumstances (such as from a pack or a giveaway) were limited to one copy. If you dreamt of a shop filled with Troublin Plushies, it was simply not happening.

With this update, owning any decoration also unlocks the ability to buy duplicates of it for gems. For example, lucky owners of the Troublin Plushie can now purchase any amount of them. Decorations earned from the Antique Store also unlock this option.

There are some exceptions to this new rule:

Decorations that cannot logically coexist with duplicates of itself (such as the upcoming Sleepy Appa).

Decorations from Seasonal Collections. These however are available for purchase every year.

Miscellaneous exceptions (Worker statues and the Synthesis Vessel).

Minor Changes

Added a new Full Moon recipe to transform an Opulent Key into 5 Opulent Chests.

Bug Fixes

Fixed a bug allowing players to donate to the collection book too early during its tutorial, causing it to freeze later on.

Fixed a bug causing Opulent blueprints to show up in daily tasks.

Fusion list now sorts available fusions first.

Fixed several issues with champion shadows not displaying properly.

Fixed a bug where a Hero’s total element score would display as 50/50 water if all their skills were maxed.

Fixed enchanted items displaying the wrong stat bonuses in their enchantment details.

Enchanted items now add a +1 to collection book sale stats of their respective enchantments.

Fixed further instances of players seeing packs they’ve already seen in flashback offers.

Fixed Gem packages not having proper title on Steam purchase overlay.

Fixed an instance where item cards would display required worker level instead of hire worker prompt.

Fixed issue where The Wise Scholar offer incorrectly displayed blueprint lines.

Fixed a crash that could occur when collecting a "Special" category fusion.

Fixed a display issue where the Crafting Details menu would show incorrect quality for item's name if navigating from Fusion Details.

Fixed an issue with pet shadows sometimes causing them to escape their owner.

Fixed an issue occasionally causing Daily Deals to be blank with no content.
