After being unable to take part in NBC's coverage of Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade for the first time in 27 years in 2022, veteran TV personality Al Roker couldn't have been more excited to be back this year — enough so that he cooked up a special greeting for Good Burger 2 stars Kenan Thompson and Kel Mitchell live on air.
The 69-year-old hilariously interrupted his coverage of the event alongside Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb to yell Good Burger quotes at the former Nickelodeon actors as the pair drove by in the film series' iconic Burgermobile.
"There they are, driving the Good Burger mobile!" Roker excitedly shouted, turning around in his seat to face away from the camera and toward the actors.
"Welcome to the Good Burger, can I take your order?" Roker shouted, catching the attention of the performers, who looked toward him from the Manhattan street below. "Yes, you can!" Thompson yelled back.
Roker, who has a cameo in Good Burger 2 - and even got the chance to drive the iconic Burgermobile - stretched the bit even longer, referencing Thompson and Mitchell's song from the series of films and All That TV sketches. "We're all dudes. You're a dude," Roker sang, prompting Thompson and Mitchell to reply in unison: "We're all dudes!"

Last year, Roker missed NBC's Thanksgiving Day Parade telecast after he was hospitalized for multiple blood clots in his leg. He celebrated his return at the top of the 2023 broadcast.
"I'm so grateful to be with you, Hoda, and all of you at home on this beautiful morning," the 69-year-old said during a live shot from the telecast.
