Tijdens de Jantje Beton Buitenspeeldag, op woensdag 10 juni, verandert heel Nederland in één grote buitenspeelplek. Honderden buurten, scholen, speeltuinen en straten doen mee, zodat alle kinderen van Nederland kunnen buitenspelen. Kom je ook?
Overal iets te beleven
Van stoepkrijtkunstwerken maken tot een spetterend waterballonnengevecht of een fanatieke spelestafette: in elke buurt is wel iets te doen. Of je nu houdt van rennen, bouwen, knutselen of lekker vrij spelen, er is voor iedereen een leuke activiteit.
Geef die bel 'n lel!
Wist je dat bijna de helft van de kinderen niet buitenspeelt, omdat er niemand anders buiten is? Dat moet anders! Daarom roepen we alle kinderen op: ga langs bij je buurvriendje of -vriendinnetje, geef die bel ’n lel en ga samen naar buiten. Want buitenspelen is niet alleen gezond, maar ook hartstikke leuk, vooral als je samen gaat!

Jantje Beton Buitenspeeldag 2026 | Jantje Beton
De Jantje Beton Buitenspeeldag (10 juni) was dit jaar groter dan ooit. Met een recordaantal van maar liefst 1.347 activiteiten – ruim 300 meer dan vorig jaar – kwamen meer dan 120.000 kinderen door heel Nederland buitenspelen.
Toch luidden we voorafgaand aan deze dag de noodklok: 400.000 kinderen spelen (bijna) nooit vrij buiten, vaak doordat er geen speelmaatjes zijn. Dit wordt in stand gehouden door 'aanbel-angst'. Tijdens de buitenspeeldag lieten kinderen massaal zien dat die drempel weggenomen kan worden als ouders, buurtbewoners, gemeenten, welzijns- en sportorganisaties de handen ineenslaan.
Daarom roept Jantje Beton op: geef die bel 'n lel en ga lekker samen naar buiten!
