First Look: WWE’s Mike ‘The Miz’ Mizanin to Guest Star on ‘Side Hustle’ on Sept. 18

Clint Kickwood is here to solve all your problems (as long as its not a busted door)

WWE Superstar Mike “The Miz” Mizanin is guest-starring on Nickelodeon’s Side Hustle, and just like his main job and those acting roles in the (post-John Cena) Marine movies, it’s a fairly physical gig. (As is his upcoming turn on Dancing With the Stars, though in a pretty different — yet just as demanding — way.)

On the new Side Hustle episode "Room For Munchy," Mizanin plays Jujutsu star Clint Kickwood, who grunts out “Kick-wood!” as he kicks down Jaget’s (Jacques Chevelle) dojo door. (Yes, he literally kicked wood.)

Kickwood was “hired by a very sorry young man,” he tells Jaget. That sorry young man was Munchy, Jaget’s little bro. Probably extra-sorry now because of the door.

As Clint Kickwood explains, “Clint Kickwood doesn’t just kick stuff, I fix stuff!” (Unfortunately, not doors, I'm guessing.)

He definitely does seem to kick an awful lot of stuff — especially when he played twins in the movie Double Kick. But his mission here is more one of mending a brotherly relationship.

Watch the video above, which is exclusive to TheWrap.

On Saturday’s episode, when Lex (Jules LeBlanc) and Presley (Jayden Bartels) discover that Munchy (Isaiah Crews) doesn’t have his own room but Jaget (Jacques Chevelle) has two, they go to drastic lengths to make Jaget give up one of his rooms. Their plan backfires and Munchy gets kicked out of both rooms so the kids make a Plan B.

Side Hustle follows best friends, smart and sarcastic Lex and confident and tough Presley, after fireworks accidentally destroy a boat belonging to the dad of their quirky friend and neighbor, Munchy. Needing to find a way to pay him back for the boat, they devise a plan to take on local jobs in order to make enough money to cover the costs. Using KidDING!, an app created by Presley’s tech-savvy younger brother Fisher (Mitchell Berg), the friends are able to connect with people looking for help with odd and unusual jobs, while Munchy’s bossy older brother Jaget makes sure they keep up with the payments. Currently in its first season, season two kicks off (#sorrynotsorry) Saturday, Oct. 2 on Nickelodeon.

Year to date, Side Hustle currently ranks as the No. 2 live-action program on cable among kids 6-11 — behind fellow Nick series Danger Force.

Side Hustle was created by Dave Malkoff, who also serves as executive producer and showrunner alongside John Beck and Ron Hart. Production of Side Hustle for Nickelodeon is overseen by Zack Olin and Shauna Phelan, the co-heads of Nickelodeon & Awesomeness live-action.

Omar Camacho is Nickelodeon’s executive in charge of production for the series.

Miz’s episode of Side Hustle airs Saturday, September 18 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, followed by an all new Unfiltered at 8:30 on Nickelodeon. Check out a super sneak peek from the all new episode, courtesy of TheWrap, below!:

What Did You Think of New 'All That' Episode 1120? | Nickelodeon Fan Poll

What did you think of the brand new All That episode 1120? Vote in the poll and sound off in the comments below!

WWE’s The New Day Crushes Coach Kreeton 🥊 | All That

WWE’s The New Day Crushes Coach Kreeton 🥊| All That

Coach Kreeton (Kel Mitchell) is back again to teach the students how to wrestle, but it looks like Aria Brooks already has a few moves of her own! She brings in WWE’s The New Day to teach Coach Kreeton a lesson.

Behind the scenes with The New Day on the set of "All That"

Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods show off their comedic chops in a special This Week in WWE feature on their upcoming appearance on Nickelodeon’s “All That.”

Catch All That on Nickelodeon!

From Ringside News:

WATCH THE NEW DAY ROUGH UP KEL MITCHELL ON NICKELODEON’S ALL THAT

The New Day have been given plenty of opportunities to have fun outside of WWE. They recently paid All That a visit and got to experience some major nostalgia.

Big E, Xavier Woods, and Kofi Kingston appeared as guests on the revived version of All That. It’s not the same cast, but it has much of the same feel (to a certain extent). The New Day certainly livened things up with the Power Of Positivity.

The New Day appeared in a sketch with Kel Mitchell, one of the OG All That cast members who is still around. The New Day played themselves. Kofi said it’s not as easy to play yourself as it looks.

They then demonstrated some wrestling moves with Kel in the sketch. Big E said that the script was funny, but being in a scene with Kel was something else completely. They noted that it is very hard not to “lose it” when acting alongside the Good Burger star.

The New Day are no strangers to appearing on Nick as they were previously on Double Dare. This is yet another great collaboration between WWE and Nickelodeon. You can check out the video [above].

From TheWrap:

Watch WWE Intercontinental Champion Braun Strowman Smash the ‘Ryan’s Mystery Playdate’ Door (Exclusive Video)

“Sorry about your door”

Yeah, there’s no way WWE Intercontinental Champion Braun Strowman, who stands 6’8” tall and weighs 386 pounds, was going to fit in the “Ryan’s Mystery Playdate” Mystery Guest Box. That’s not happening.

The “Friday Night SmackDown” star will be unusually busy on Monday, but not because he’s booked on “Raw.” Strowman is Ryan’s mystery playdate on Nickelodeon preschool show, “Ryan’s Mystery Playdate.” TheWrap’s got your exclusive first look at all the size disparity.

Created and produced by pocket.watch, the live-action series follows YouTube superstar Ryan, of “Ryan’s World,” as he tackles a series of imaginative, physical challenges and solves mystery box puzzles to reveal the identity of his playdate.

“Ryan’s Mystery Playdate” was the highest-rated preschool show for kids 2-5 on all TV for 2019.

'Double Dare' Season 2 to Feature 'SpongeBob SquarePants Week' & 'WWE Superstars Week'

Originally published: Saturday, March 16, 2019.

Who lives in a Pineapple under the sea, and is about to take on Nickelodeon's legendary Double Dare obstacle course? SpongeBob SquarePants!

It has been revealed that Nickelodeon has just filmed a sponge-tastic SpongeBob SquarePants Week of it's hit game show, Double Dare!

Credit: Twitter /@i3zKO.

Update (6/21) - Marc Summers has announced on Instagram that Nickelodeon USA will be hosting a special "SpongeBob Week" in July 2019! According to Zap2it, "SpongeBob Week" will begin on either Monday, July 8, 2019 or Tuesday, July 9, 2019.

Update (6/23) - Drake Bell and Guava Juice will take part in "SpongeBob Week Game 2"!

In "SpongeBob Week Game 1", two four-person teams compete in a series of challenges for the chance to advance in the first-ever SpongeBob Week Tournament; only one squad will swim its way onto the obstacle course and into the next games to play with their favorite celebrities.

It's currently unknown who'll be taking on all the super sloppy and slimy challenges in the week of SpongeBob SquarePants-themed episodes of Double Dare - it could be the show's voice cast, famous SpongeBob fans, SpongeBob superfans, or a mixture of all three. It could also feature the cast of SpongeBob SquarePants itself! It's not impossible, Cat and Dog from CatDog was a panelist on a episode of Nickelodeon's Figure It Out in the '90s - and got slimed! Maybe we'll see Fred take on the famous Double Dare obstacle course!

It's also currently unknown when Double Dare's SpongeBob SquarePants Week will air, however, it's thought that SpongeBob SquarePants Week will air in either May or July 2019, as part of Nickelodeon's "The Best Year Ever" celebrations to mark SpongeBob SquarePants' landmark 20th anniversary.

The “Best Year Ever” kicks off Friday, July 12, with the premiere of “SpongeBob’s Big Birthday Blowout,” an original mixed live-action and animated special. In the one-hour special, it’s SpongeBob’s birthday, and Patrick and SpongeBob journey to the surface world and come across a few familiar characters during lunchtime rush at The Trusty Slab restaurant. Meanwhile, the Bikini Bottom residents set up a surprise party for SpongeBob. The special which feature for the first time the celebrated voice talent behind SpongeBob, Patrick, Mr. Krabs, Sandy, Squidward and Plankton playing live-action doppelgänger versions of the animated characters they voice. The “Best Year Ever” will lead up to the Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies theatrical, The SpongeBob Movie: It's a Wonderful Sponge, coming summer 2020.

The SpongeBob SquarePants Week of episodes will form part of Double Dare's recently wrapped second season, which will also includes: the recently aired Kids' Choice Awards Week (March 11-14) and the upcoming WWE Superstars Week (which is speculated to air around the time of Wrestlemania 35 on April 7, 2019; two of the teams in one episodes will be Little Giants vs Generation Yes), Halloween Week (airing sometime around Halloween), and Holiday Week (Christmas Week; airing sometime around the holidays).

Update (3/22) - Nickelodeon will host Double Dare WWE Superstars Week between Monday, April 8 - Thursday, April 11, 2019! The news was announced by Double Dare legend Marc Summers! One of the child contestants taking part in the special week will be Steven Weitz.

Double Dare season two episodes were taped at CBS Studios-Radford in California between February 27-28, 2019, as well as March 2, 4-5, and 7-8, 2019. Three episodes were filmed per day. There are thought to be 20 episodes in total for season two.

A major difference between Double Dare seasons one and two is, season two features a new tournament-style to it, where "Game 1" is 4v4, then "Game 2" and "Game 3" split up half of the winning team to celebrity contestants, and "Finals" is where the winners from 2 & 3 face-off against each other.

In additional news, On Camera Audiences, which distributes tickets to watch and be in the audience of television shows being filmed, is reporting that Nickelodeon has already commissioned Double Dare season three, which is set to go into production in 2020! The news has yet to be confirmed by Nickelodeon.

WWE Superstars Naomi And Jimmy Uso Film New Nickelodeon Special; Slated To Premiere In November 2017

CBS Local Sports is reporting the exciting news that WWE superstar Naomi and her husband, Jimmy Uso, recently filmed an upcoming show for Nickelodeon that is expected to premiere on Nick USA in November 2017!

Although not much is known about the Naomi and Jimmy's Nickelodeon show, in an interview with CBS Local Sports, Naomi revealed that the show is a one-off special that will be "a race like a tournament", and promises to be really fun to watch!:

I have to ask you about a rumor making the rounds that you and your husband were off filming a new TV show. What’s the story there?

What?! I can’t say what it is, but I can tell you it’s for Nickelodeon.

It’s for Nickelodeon so who’s getting slimed?

Oh, man. I can’t speak on it yet, but it’s definitely a fun show, a kid-friendly show. We went out there and filmed it for four days, and it was a lot of fun. You guys will be seeing that in November, I believe.

I know you can’t give too much away, but was this a one-time thing?

Yeah. It’s not a reality show or anything like that. I wish I could tell you! I’ve probably already told you too much already! It’s just a one-time thing that we filmed, and we had a blast. It’s actually a kids show. It’s a race like a tournament. You guys will see it later this year.
