TeenNick Starts To Air 'America's Funniest Home Videos'

TeenNick will start to air America's Funniest Home Videos from Monday, September 12.

Beginning with season 26, TeenNick will air three episodes of America's Funniest Home Videos nightly, at 7:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. ET/PT, respectively.

Amateur videographers in the U.S. submit ones of their kids, pets, friends and families in funny situations -- often embarrassing -- with the hope of winning thousands in prize money. Each week, the studio audience determines a winner by voting for the one they find most-hilarious. At the end of the season, weekly winners compete for the grand prize.

Hosted by actor and Dancing with the Stars Season 19 champion Alfonso Ribeiro (known for playing Carlton Banks on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air), America's Funniest Home Videos has given away millions in prize money and evaluated more than a million video clips from home viewers. The series is produced by Vin Di Bona Productions, with Di Bona serving as executive producer.

America's Funniest Home Videos, the longest-running primetime entertainment show in ABC history, has a mission: to provide viewers with hysterical moments that fly by at a dizzying pace. These real-life blunders are fun for everyone from four to one-hundred-and-four. AFV, the show that invented the viral video, has become a Sunday-night tradition for millions of families from coast to coast.
