As streaming services continue to remove library content to maintain costs, Paramount+ today (Dec. 19) removed more Nickelodeon shows from the service's programming library, including the network's very first original animated Nicktoon series, Doug.
The Nickelodeon series removed today are:
– AwesomenessTV
– Breadwinners
– Doug
– Game Shakers
– House of Anubis
– Kung Fu Panda: Legends of Awesomeness
– Let’s Just Play: Go Healthy Challenge
– My Life As A Teenage Robot
– The Penguins of Madagascar
– Welcome to the Wayne
– Wonder Pets
– Zoofari
In addition a Nickelodeon special was removed as well:
– The Massively Mixed-Up Middle School Mystery
Update: Even more shows were removed on Monday, December 23:
– ALVINNN and The Chipmunks
– Big Time Rush
– Blue’s Room
– Face’s Music Party
– Fanboy & Chum Chum
– Ni Hao Kai-Lan
– Oobi
– Sanjay and Craig
– Tot Cop
– The Upside Down Show
Along with the Nickelodeon special Nickelodeon’s Ho Ho Holiday Special.
Update (12/28) - In a statement to Deadline, a Paramount spokesperson said that the title purges are part of the company’s normal process of removing and adding titles, which is done on a monthly and quarterly basis.
