Melissa Joan Hart Reveals There Has Been Talk To Revive Nickelodeon Classic "Clarissa Explains it All"
Melissa Joan Hart has revealed in super interview with Us Weekly that Nickelodeon may be planning to revive Clarissa Explains it All!
During a chat with Us' Christina Garibaldi, the actress and LiveHealth Online spokesperson, 40, talked about her iconic characters Clarissa Darling and Sabrina Spellman, which she played on Clarissa Explains It All and Sabrina, the Teenage Witch, respectively.
Asked about the possibility of a reboot or reunion special for either classic '90s series, the sitcom star said that, while she doesn't think Sabrina will fly back onto the small screen anytime soon, Hart revealed that the hit '90s Nickelodeon TV series Clarissa, which ran from 1991 to 1994 and recently celebrated its 25th anniversary, might make a comeback, saying "I will say that there is - Clarissa - there is some talk about Clarissa, so we'll see which way that goes."
However, Melissa acknowledged that viewers and networks may be tiring to reboots, saying: "Well, I think people are actually getting a little fatigued on the reboots and I know that the networks are."
Earlier this year, Melissa, 40, revealed that Mitchell Kriegman, the creator of Clarissa Explains It All, was in talks with Nickelodeon and working on trying to come up with an idea to revive Clarissa Explains it All.
To celebrate the comedy show's recent landmark anniversary, three-time Emmy Award-winner Kriegman released the book Things I Can't Explain: A Clarissa Novel.
Sabrina the Teenage Witch ran from 1996 to 2000 on ABC, followed by The WB, and spanned a total of seven seasons. Both Clarissa Explains it All and Sabrina the Teenage Witch were firm fan favourites on Nickelodeon UK.

You can watch Melissa's interview with Us Weekly's Christina Garibaldi, in which the sitcom star and Mom of three - who married musician Mark Wilkerson in 2003 - also talks about her most cherished onscreen kiss, reveals her list of hunkiest costars, and favorite TV and movie makeout sessions that happened after the new millennium, including with Balthazar Getty, who the actress filmed a 2006 pilot called Dirtbags with, in the super video below!:
