In Dancing Brasil Júnior, celebrity judges Jaime Arôxa, Fernanda Chamma and Paulo Goulart Filho will evaluate the performances of 10 young celebrities: Kaik Pereira (actor), Leonardo Oliveira (actor), Lorena Tucci (actor), Luiz Eduardo Toledo (actor), Maria Clara de Rosis (singer), Maria Viel Faro (Rodrigo Faro's daughter), Matheus Ueta (actor), Nathalia Costa (actor), Serginho Rufino (JP Rufino's brother), and MC Soffia (singer), who are vying to win a family holiday to Disney World in the U.S.
Hosted by Xuxa and Jean Paulo Campos, the ninety-minute TV special is a Brazilian adaptation of the popular U.S. celebrity dance competition Dancing with the Stars: Juniors (produced by BBC Studios), a spin-off of the hit competition series Dancing with the Stars (produced by BBC Worldwide Productions and Endemol Shine North America), which is the U.S. version of the hit UK dancing competition series Strictly Come Dancing (produced by BBC Studios).
Dancing Brasil Júnior will premiere on Wednesday 19th December 2018 at 22h30 on Record TV, and will encore on Nickelodeon Brasil on Sunday 23rd December 2018 at 19h30.
Dancing Brasil Júnior is airing as a one-off stand-alone Dancing Brasil special, but also intended as a backdoor pilot for a potential spin-off full television series. It's currently unknown whether Nickelodeon Brasil will air the Dancing Brasil Júnior series if greenlit.
Dancing Brasil Júnior is directed by Rodrigo Carelli and produced by Endemol Shine and BBC Worldwide.
