College + Nickelodeon Creative Jam LIVE with Adobe XD by Adobe Creative Jams
Join hundreds of self-quarantined and study-from-home college students in the remote College + Nickelodeon Creative Jam.
About this Event
Join Nickelodeon, Adobe, and hundreds of college students across the nation in a beginner-friendly project challenge.
Use Adobe tools to create a project and present it to the Nickelodeon design team for insightful feedback. Compete in this weekend-long event and you may win prizes and bragging rights!
The event will be live-streamed on Facebook so your friends and family can witness your path to victory.
REQUIREMENTS
You MUST be a currently-enrolled student of an accredited college or university in the United States or Canada and register with a VALID campus-issued email address (.edu or equivalent). Registrants who are not part of a team of 2 or more are not able to participate.
AGENDA
Attend two 2-hour sessions with the Nickelodeon design team online and work with your 2 to 3-person team to compete, from anywhere you like, over the weekend.
- Kick Off: Friday, April 3 – 4:00 pm ET/1:00 pm PT At this 2-hour kick off, you’ll get a quick training session and learn how to design a user experience using Adobe XD! And then... our co-host will reveal the Jam challenge! Over the weekend, your 2- to 3-person team will collaborate on a submission that meet the challenge criteria. Submissions are due on Sunday, April 5 at 2pm ET/11am PT.
- Finale: Monday, April 6 – 4:00 pm ET/1:00 pm PT Join the 2-hour presentation and awards ceremony to find out if you’ve made it to the finale, present your work live on-screen to the judges, get realtime feedback, and if you win... go home with some serious gift card cred in your pocket.
PRIZES
Prizes include gift cards for each member of the winning team in the amounts below, PLUS a one-year student subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud (worth up to $240).
- First Place: $250.00 and a Creative Jam backpack filled with Adobe swag delivered directly to each team member
- Second Place: $200.00 per team member
- Third Place: $150.00 per team member
- Fourth Place: $100.00 per team member
- Fifth Place: $75.00 per team member
- Sixth Place: $50.00 per team member
Registration is limited to students currently enrolled at a North American college campus in the United States or Canada. Registrants must register with their official campus email address in order to participate and win.
