The "Nick Nick Nick" jingle is officially called "The Nick Mnemonic".
It first appeared on Nick in the late '80s and early '90s.
The first performers of The Nick Mnemonic were "The Jive Five".
The original bumpers were producers by blues musician and Fred/Alan producer Tom Pomposello, who knew that a doo-wop group would capture people's attention.
The Nick Mnemonic has been re-interpreted countless times, and unites fans from every generation.

The brawler – which looks to be similar to Super Smash Bros. in style – will come to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch in Fall 2021. It's being developed by Ludosity and Fair Play Labs, and published by GameMill Entertainment. GameMill has previously partnered with Nickelodeon to release Nickelodeon Kart Racers and Nickelodeon Kart Racers 2: Grand Prix.
Check out a reveal trailer below:
A full list of characters has yet to be announced, but confirmed characters featured in the game include:
We'll actually get to see Nigel Thornberry "smashing" it up!
All-Star Brawl will also feature 20 levels based on Nickelodeon shows (including Jellyfish Fields from SpongeBob SquarePants, and the Technodrome from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), and will include single player and multiplayer modes, with local and online support for up to four players. You'll also be able to unlock new moves for every fighter, as well as earn bonus content for an in-game gallery.
A dev in the Ludosity Discord channel revealed that Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl will boast rollback netcode "on supported platforms." For anyone unfamiliar with the term, rollback netcode basically predicts a player's input when playing matches online, mimicking the conditions of local play, effectively circumventing delay issues.
Rollback netcode is especially popular with fighting games since their fast-paced action requires quick inputs. A bad internet connection can lead to moves not registering, which is why rollback netcode is such a popular demand for these sorts of games.
It's also been revealed that wavedashing, a Melee advanced technique featured in Super Smash Bros., will also be featured in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. In Super Smash Bros., characters are able to slide with attacks by air dodging into the ground. This allows the player to perform ground actions while still moving and is extremely important in competitive Smash play. This technique has a huge presence during high level gameplay.
A developer on Discord also revealed that would be a PC version, which is in fact the lead platform for the game. Additionally according to a developer on Discord, it will have GameCube adapter support.

Video game designer Christopher Gottron, the owner and developer at Konitama LLC, has revealed that he once made a mobile game for Nickelodeon, which unfortunately was never released!
In a recent interview with Game Rant to talk about Konitama's debut game Cloudscape and its Kickstarter campaign, Gottron talked about his storied career at studios like Nickelodeon and DreamWorks, and opened up about his experiences and what he learnt along the way:
"I eventually ended up over at DreamWorks Animation Television where I worked on a lot of the Netflix shows. I worked on Voltron, She-Ra, King [Julien], Kipo and the Wonderbeasts, and funnily enough, another version of Kung Fu Panda. I had pretty much the same role at DreamWorks as I did at Nickelodeon, so it was more animation and compositing there.
"I learned a ton of different software programs for animation and effects work, and had to wear many hats. Oddly enough, I ended up scripting quite a few plug-ins and tools for software to use internally at the studio, so I managed to get a bit of coding in at my job as well.
"My experience at these studios helped me strengthen my overall skills as an artist, take on a lot of interesting challenges, and learn how to hit critical deadlines."
Later in the interview, Gottron talked about when he developed an unreleased Nickelodeon mobile game for the Nick App:
"Around my fourth year with Nickelodeon, our small animation department started trying out different things to see how we could be of further use to the studio. Since I really wanted to make video games, I suggested we try to make some type of game.
"I ended up working as a solo developer (with some art and sound assets provided to me), and I prototyped a handful of games. We finally settled on a sort of arcade-style game where you would fling brains at zombies. I spent a few weeks putting that together and coming up with the design and overall gameplay.
"The end result was a pretty fun little arcade game, and people around the office ended up playing it a lot and attempting to beat each other's high scores. The game was designed for the Nick mobile app, but unfortunately I don't think it ever actually made it on the platform. It was a great learning experience nonetheless."

Cloudscape is currently in development for PC, PlayStation, Switch, and Xbox.
