Rugrats, the reimagining of the classic ‘90s series, is back with more adventures from the colorful imaginations of Tommy, Chuckie, Angelica, Susie, Phil and Lil. The next eight episodes of season one will be available to stream exclusively on Paramount+ beginning Thursday, October 7. Ahead of the all-new episodes dropping this fall, the series was recently renewed for a 13-episode second season.

Joining the cast in this new batch of episodes are:
  • Charlet Chung (Craig of the Creek) as Kimi Watanabe, Angelica’s eternally cheerful adversary at preschool, in “Escape from Preschool.” [sneak peek]
  • Raini Rodriguez (Bunk’d) as Gabi, Betty’s niece and the babies’ favorite babysitter ever, in “Great Minds Think Alike” and “Betty and the Beast.” [sneak peek]
  • Henry Winkler (Happy Days, Arrested Development, Monsters at Work) as Boris, Tommy’s Zayde, in “The Bubbe and Zayde Show.” [sneak peek]
  • Swoosie Kurtz (Mike & Molly, Bless the Harts) as Minka, Tommy’s Bubbe, in “The Bubbe and Zayde Show.” [sneak peek]
  • Ben Schwartz (Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja TurtlesParks and Recreation, HouseBroken) as Lord Crater, the pompous but truly evil villain of The Final Eclipse movie franchise, in “Final Eclipse.” [sneak peek]

In the all-new season one episodes, the babies will continue to find themselves in a variety of situations by using their wild imaginations, including defeating an “outer space villain,” traveling through Chuckie’s dad’s body, embarking upon a daring mission to break Angelica out of preschool and more. The new batch of episodes also includes a half-hour, Halloween-themed special, "The Werewoof Hunter," where Tommy needs his friends’ help to save Angelica after she turns into a werewolf at a scary Halloween party as their parents seem to disappear one by one.

The series stars EG Daily (Tommy Pickles), Nancy Cartwright (Chuckie Finster), Cheryl Chase (Angelica Pickles), Cree Summer (Susie Carmichael), and Kath Soucie (Phil and Lil DeVille), all of whom reprise their iconic roles in this new series.

The original adventurous babies’ voice cast is joined by new voices, including Ashley Rae Spillers and Tommy Dewey (Tommy’s parents, Didi and Stu Pickles); Tony Hale (Chuckie’s father, Chas Finster); Natalie Morales, (Phil and Lil’s mother, Betty DeVille); Anna Chlumsky and Timothy Simons (Angelica’s parents, Charlotte and Drew Pickles); Nicole Byer and Omar Miller (Susie’s parents, Lucy and Randy Carmichael); and Michael McKean (Grandpa Lou Pickles).

From Nickelodeon Animation Studio, the brand-new Rugrats series features rich and colorful CG-animation and follows the babies – Tommy, Chuckie, Angelica, Susie, and Phil and Lil – as they explore the world and beyond from their pint-sized and wildly imaginative point-of-view.

This August 11th marked the 30th anniversary of the series. The original Rugrats series launched in August of 1991 and instantly became a groundbreaking phenomenon, spawning consumer products and three hit theatrical releases, and cementing its place in pop culture history through its iconic characters, storytelling and unique visual style.  The series earned four Daytime Emmy Awards, six Kids' Choice Awards and its own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Rugrats was in production for nine seasons (169 episodes) over the course of 13 years.

Produced by Nickelodeon Animation Studio, the all-new Rugrats is based on the series created by Arlene Klasky, Gabor Csupo, and Paul Germain. Eryk Casemiro (Rugrats) and Kate Boutilier (Rugrats) are executive producers and Dave Pressler (Robot and Monster) and Casey Leonard (Breadwinners) serve as co-executive producers, with Rachel Lipman (Rugrats) as co-producer and Kellie Smith (The Fairly OddParents) as line producer on season one.

New 'Star Trek: Prodigy' Teaser Airs During CBS's 2009 'Star Trek' Screening

With only a little more than three weeks to go until Paramount+, CBS Studios, and Nickelodeon's Star Trek: Prodigy makes its debut, CBS used Sunday night's airing of 2009's Star Trek to offer another look at the animated series!

Star Trek: Prodigy premieres Oct. 28, exclusively on Paramount+!

Developed by Emmy® Award winners Kevin and Dan Hageman (“Trollhunters” and “Ninjago”), the CG-animated series STAR TREK: PRODIGY is the first “Star Trek” series aimed at younger audiences, and will follow a motley crew of young aliens who must figure out how to work together while navigating a greater galaxy, in search of a better future. These six young outcasts know nothing about the ship (U.S.S. Protostar) they have commandeered – a first in the history of the “Star Trek” franchise – but over the course of their adventures together, they will each be introduced to Starfleet and the ideals it represents.

Star Trek: Prodigy stars Rylee Alazraqui as Rok-Tahk, Brett Gray as Dal, Angus Imrie as Zero, Jason Mantzoukas as Jankom Pog, Ella Purnell as Gwyn, Dee Bradley Baker as Murf, and Kate Mulgrew, who is reprising her role of Kathryn Janeway from Star Trek: Voyager. In the series, Janeway will serve as the starship’s built-in emergency training hologram.

STAR TREK: PRODIGY is from CBS’ Eye Animation Productions, CBS Studios’ new animation arm; Nickelodeon Animation Studio, led by President of Animation Ramsey Naito; Secret Hideout; and Roddenberry Entertainment. Alex Kurtzman, Heather Kadin, Katie Krentz, Rod Roddenberry and Trevor Roth serve as executive producers alongside co-showrunners Kevin and Dan Hageman. Ben Hibon directs, co-executive produces and serves as the creative lead of the all-new animated series. Aaron Baiers also serves as co-executive producer.

Stream Star Trek: Prodigy from October 28, exclusively on Paramount+! Try it FREE at ParamountPlus.com!
