He was also character layout supervisor on The Rugrats Movie in 1998 and was animation director on the studio’s adult animated project The Immigrants. He also directed several episodes of Disney Jr.’s Sheriff Callie’s Wild West.

He also worked as a storyboard artist on a wide variety of projects including A Very Pink Christmas, Doc McSuffins, DreamWorks Dragons, Peter Rabbit, Masha and the Bear, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Mission Force One. Svislotski’s friends have set up a fundraiser to support his family during this difficult time.

They wrote, “On December 19th, 2022, our dear friend Andrei Svislotski suddenly passed away at work. He was 62 years old. Andrei was a man of enormous talent and a very fun guy to be around. He will be gravely missed by his wife Elena, their son Kirill, and all of his friends and colleagues which are many.”

Nicktoons Global Premieres 'The Twisted Timeline of Sammy & Raj'

Nicktoons Global today (December 27) premiered Nickelodeon International's brand new animated series The Twisted Timeline of Sammy & Raj, including on Nicktoons Germany (Deutschland), where the series airs weekdays mornings at 3:30 Uhr and 3:55 Uhr (3:35 Uhr and 4:00 Uhr from Jan. 29)! The series is locally titled Die verzwickten Zeitreisen von Sammy and Raj in Germany.

With a mysterious time-altering app at their fingertips, Twisted Timeline of Sammy and Raj follows the reality-bending adventures of a pair of cousin-brothers, as they pause, rewind, fast-forward and slow-motion their way into a whole host of rowdy laugh-out-loud exploits.

Nickelodeon International teamed up with Nickelodeon India, a part of Viacom18 that is a joint venture between Paramount Global (formally ViacomCBS) and Network18, to co-produce The Twisted Timeline of Sammy & Raj. The new series marks the first collaboration between the top kids’ entertainment brand and the leading Indian kids’ category brand from India’s fastest growing entertainment network.

The Twisted Timeline of Sammy & Raj was commissioned in September 2020, with animation and storyboards for the new 20 x 30-minute 2D animated series being developed in India, scripting in the U.S. and U.K., and casting being initiated in the U.S.

Chris Rose, VP, Animation, Nickelodeon International and Anu Sikka, Head Creative, Content & Research, Kids TV Network at Viacom18 are overseeing the project. The head writer of the series is Jordan Gershowitz.

“The popularity of international content is on the rise, and Nickelodeon is focused on meeting the rising demand for diverse, creative stories for a global audience. This groundbreaking partnership with Viacom18 goes beyond kids’ content, as we look to embrace greater diversity both on-screen and behind the camera,” said Jules Borkent, Executive Vice President, Kids & Family, ViacomCBS Networks International.

In Nickelodeon's original announcement for the show, Nina Hahn, the former Senior Vice President of International Production & Development at Nickelodeon International, stated: “In the creative world, geographic borders have diminished, as more content is drawn by the hands of global artists from every corner of the world. The idea for this series was developed in collaboration with the team in India as we sought a way to fuse western and eastern story telling elements. Indian culture is very much a part of this series’ DNA, and we are eager to share those elements with our global audience.”

Nina Elavia Jaipuria, Head of Hindi Mass Entertainment & Kids TV Network at Viacom18 said: “Over the years, Nickelodeon India has created successful local IPs and characters that kids love. This partnership with Nickelodeon International has gone beyond the border lines of creativity and stands testimony to the success of Nick India and Nick International in creating groundbreaking content. It further reinforces the capability of the Indian Animation Industry. We are happy to partner with Nickelodeon International for this show and look forward to working together in creating this series for kids across the world.”

Anu Sikka, Head Creative, Content & Research, Kids TV Network at Viacom18 said: “Kids imaginations and aspirations are universal and it’s this learning that has brought this show to life. The series will be showcasing stories that kids around the world will find relatable and engaging, hopefully opening up more opportunities for future collaboration. Our efforts are to make sure that kids get to experience the best of animation and that this show will stir their imagination and transport them into a new world of adventure.”

New episodes of Prodigy debut on Thursdays exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S., and on Fridays in Latin America and select countries in Europe. The series is also carried on SkyShowtime in the rest of Europe.

Developed by Emmy(R) Award winners Kevin and Dan Hageman ("Trollhunters" and "Ninjago"), the CG-animated series STAR TREK: PRODIGY is the first "Star Trek" series aimed at younger audiences, and follows a motley crew of young aliens who must figure out how to work together while navigating a greater galaxy, in search of a better future. These six young outcasts know nothing about the ship they have commandeered - a first in the history of the "Star Trek" franchise - but over the course of their adventures together, they will each be introduced to Starfleet and the ideals it represents.

In the remaining STAR TREK: PRODIGY season one episodes, as the hopeful crew makes their way toward Starfleet, their dreams are threatened when they discover the U.S.S. Protostar harbors a weapon designed to tear the United Federation of Planets apart. To make matters worse, the U.S.S. Dauntless is on a manhunt for the Protostar as the real Vice Admiral Janeway is eager to uncover what happened to her missing former First Officer Chakotay. With these two ships on a collision course and destruction on the horizon, the fate of the Alpha Quadrant hangs in the balance. New episodes stream Thursdays on Paramount+.

The series has been renewed for a second season, which is slated to premiere in 2023.

STAR TREK: PRODIGY is from CBS' Eye Animation Productions, CBS Studios' animation arm; Nickelodeon Animation, led by president of animation Ramsey Naito; Secret Hideout; and Roddenberry Entertainment. Alex Kurtzman, Heather Kadin, Aaron Baiers, Katie Krentz, Rod Roddenberry and Trevor Roth serve as executive producers, alongside co-showrunners Kevin and Dan Hageman. Ben Hibon directs, executive produces and serves as the creative lead of the animated series. Aaron Waltke and Patrick Krebs also currently serve as co-executive producers.

The STAR TREK: PRODIGY voice cast includes Kate Mulgrew (Hologram Kathryn Janeway), Brett Gray (Dal), Ella Purnell (Gwyn), Rylee Alazraqui (Rok-Tahk), Angus Imrie (Zero), Jason Mantzoukas (Jankom Pog), Dee Bradley Baker (Murf), John Noble (The Diviner) and Jimmi Simpson (Drednok). STAR TREK: PRODIGY currently streams exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S., Latin America, Australia, South Korea, Italy and the U.K. and is coming soon to Paramount+ in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and France as well as to Nickelodeon international channels, which are available in 180 countries globally.
