‘PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie’ Tunes Up with Tracks from Christina Aguilera, Mckenna Grace, and Bryson Tiller

Get ready to Pup Up The Volume!

Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon Movies and Spin Master Entertainment have announced a paw-some lineup of original songs for PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, in theaters September 29. The new tunes include:

“Learning To Fly” by Grammy Award-winning artist Christina Aguilera, to be released by RCA Records on September 22.
“Down Like That” by Grammy Award-nominated performer Bryson Tiller, to be released by Trapsoul/RCA Records on September 8.
“Bark to the Beat” by actor and singer Mckenna Grace, who also lends her voice to the character of Skye in the film, the PAW Patrol’s high-flying pup. “Bark to the Beat” features multi-platinum artist blackbear and will be released by Photo Finish Records on September 15.

Here's the film's official synopsis:

"When a magical meteor crash lands in Adventure City, it gives the PAW Patrol pups superpowers, transforming them into The MIGHTY PUPS! For Skye, the smallest member of the team, her new powers are a dream come true. But things take a turn for the worse when the pups' archrival Humdinger breaks out of jail and teams up with Victoria Vance, a meteor-obsessed mad scientist, to steal the superpowers and turn themselves into supervillains. With the fate of Adventure City hanging in the balance, the Mighty Pups have to stop the supervillains before it's too late, and Skye will need to learn that even the smallest pup can make the biggest difference."

PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie boasts a star-studded line up of world class voice talent, including Taraji P. Henson, Kristen Bell, Christian Convery, Mckenna Grace, Finn Lee-Epp, Lil Rel Howery, James Marsden, and Serena Williams join returning cast members Kim Kardashian, Marsai Martin, and Ron Pardo delivering the excitement for the pups second big screen debut.

Mckenna previously lent her vocals to the Ghostbusters: Afterlife soundtrack, the Ghostbusters movie in which the actor also starred in, performing the track "Haunted House" during the film's closing titles. Mckenna is set to reprise her Afterlife role of Phoebe Spengler in the upcoming Ghostbusters: Firehouse, currently set for release during Easter 2024.

Paramount and the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) today announced the first performers of the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards Abu Dhabi 2023, taking place on Saturday, 16 September at Etihad Arena. The global award-winning group Now United, Palestinian-Chilean singer-songwriter and composer Elyanna, top Saudi artist Bader Al-Shuaibi and Jordanian singer-songwriter Issam Alnajjar are the first names announced to take the stage at the biggest and slimiest party of the year for families.

Taking place at Yas Island’s Etihad Arena, the 2023 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards Abu Dhabi will also feature social media star and content creator Ossy Marwah as co-host of a party packed with family fun, unexpected moments, and more surprises than ever! The event that’s loved by kids around the world will feature a great lineup of talented artists who are sure to bring a fun-packed entertainment show for kids and families across the region, with more talent being revealed in the coming weeks.

Internet sensation Osama ‘Ossy’ Marwah, who will co-host the event, said: “Growing up, I watched all my favorite stars take this very stage! I cannot wait to make this KCA the best one yet!”.

Elyanna unites listeners worldwide around a stunning signature style steeped in Arabic music, pop, and R&B. Singing in Arabic and English, the Palestinian-Chilean singer and songwriter instantly enchants with soul and spirit. Being the first to perform in Arabic at Coachella Music Festival, she is at the vanguard of a new generation poised to make Arabic music heard globally.

Saudi pop artist Bader Al-Shuabi started his career at a young age, in 2002. He gained fame in the GCC and the Arab world with his distinguished and different art. Always keen to reach all audiences, he made it to the top as a global pop star, his face appearing on a billboard in New York’s Times Square to mark his collaboration with K-Pop star Alexa.

Jordanian singer-songwriter Issam Alnajjar first began his musical career by posting videos on social media. His debut single “Hadal Ahbek” went viral, leading to the young artist being the first person signed to Universal Arabic Music. Today, the young sensation continues to amass millions of streams with his impressive vocals, relatable lyrics, and acoustic tunes.

Osama Marwah, known as Ossy, is a Syrian-Canadian content creator known for his light-hearted and funny videos that often also involve his friends and family. Ossy has amassed over 12 million followers across all platforms, making him one of the region’s top YouTube stars.

Fans can vote across 16 categories on Nickelodeon’s digital site https://kca.nickelodeonarabia.com/ and on Instagram using the hashtag of their favourite nominee.

The show will premiere on Nickelodeon MENA and will be aired on Nickelodeon channels worldwide.

More New 'PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie' Character Posters Unveiled

The PAW Patrol are rolling back onto the big screen in PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, set to leap into theaters on September 29! The suits? Mightier. The vehicles? Shinier. The adventure? Could not be contained on a smaller screen. So needless to say, this latest installment in the beloved PAW Patrol franchise, presented by Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies and Spin Master Entertainment, is chock full of celebrity cameos.

It’s already an exciting day in when meteor lands in Adventure City... but this is no ordinary meteor: it’s magic. And its magic gives the PAW Patrol pups superpowers. Now they’re the Mighty Pups. It’s a dream come true, especially for tiny little Skye, but when their nemesis Humdinger breaks out of jail and teams up with villainous Victoria Vance, things take a turn for the worse. Will the pups be able to stop the villains, save the city, and maintain their incredible powers? Fingers — and paws — crossed.

In addition to the cast we know and love, the movie has a slew of new characters, many of whom are voiced by celebrities kids might not know but parents can get excited about, including Kim Kardashian as Delores; Taraji P. Laura Clunie, p.g.a., who served as a producer on the film, told Romper that from the beginning, the production was intent on making sure each voice actor was “the right fit” for their characters. “From the earliest days of writing [the character Victoria Vance], we had our sights on Taraji [P. Henson]... I will never tire of hearing her evil laugh,” she says. Casting other roles could get a little tricker; Clunie notes that about 200 kids auditioned for the role of Ryder before it went to Canadian newcomer Finn Lee-Epp.

“Working with our cast for the second PAW Patrol movie has been an incredible experience,” she says. “Each cast member gave it their absolute all in their voice records, bringing new dimension and personality to our characters for the big screen. They were all so down to earth and easy to work with – it was a blast.”

Other cast members include Mckenna Grace as Skye, this film’s heroine; Marsai Martin as Liberty; Christian Convery as Chase; Christian Corrao as Marshall; Ron Pardo as Mayor Humdinger and Cap’n Turbot; Alan Kim as Nano; Brice Gonzalez as Tot; North West as Mini (and her brother Saint West in a yet-to-be-announced role); Luxton Handspiker as Rubble; Nylan Parthipan as Zuma; Callum Shoniker as Rocky; and Kim Roberts as Mayor Goodway.

PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie is coming to theaters Sept. 29.
