Nickelodeon Channels in Latin America and Brazil Switch to European Management

Nickelodeon Latin America today (October 17) switched its feeds up, with the channel's pan-regional feed serving South America, Central America, the Caribbean and Brazil now being managed from Europe. At the time of posting, Nickelodeon Mexico is still its own independent feed.

Update (16/11) - Nickelodeon Mexico switched to the European feed on Monday 14th November 2023 at 06:00, however, unlike Nickelodeon channels across the rest of Latin America, Nickelodeon Mexico has kept key localisation aspects, including localised promos and continuity, as well as continuing to air the end credits of programming.

With the move, Nickelodeon channels in South America, Central America, the Caribbean and Brazil have started to use slightly different presentation, with trailers now being textless and no credits being displayed at the end of programming, except to mention the dubbing studio and year/production date the episode was produced.

The news follows Nick Jr. channels in Latin America and Brazil switching to the global feed in September.

Este cambio NO se aplicó en el Feed de México, por lo cual este sigue transmitiendo de manera habitual, pero no sabemos si también ocurrirá lo mismo, ya que todo indica que ese cambio solo estuvo programado para el Feed Panregional y Feed Brasil. 👇

Una prueba de lo anterior es que México ha emitido nuevos episodios de The Really Loud House desde el 7 de octubre y los feeds Panregional y Brasil no, esto es debido a que en ambos feeds esos episodios estaban programados para el 30 de octubre al igual que en Nickelodeon CEE 👇

Nickelodeon [Feed México] - Cambio de la posición del logo |  14/11/2023

Recordemos que el pasado 17 de octubre de 2023, los Feeds Brasil y Panregional fueron fusionados con un feed europeo, lo cual significó cambios muy significativos en el canal que disgustaron al público. Esos cambios no habían sido aplicados en el feed mexicano, sin embargo, hoy (14 de noviembre de 2023) a las 6:00AM (Hora Centro de México ) ocurrieron algunos: el logo pasó a la misma posición que los feeds europeos y el banner de advertencia de contenido es igual al del feed panregional. Aún con esto, el canal sigue funcionando de manera normal: 

- No hubo cambios en la programación, la duración de los programas sigue siendo de 30 minutos.

- Hay un nuevo banner que indica la próxima serie que pasará, pero sigue teniendo texto.

- Se siguen utlizando los bumpers de pausa publicitaria "Ya volvemos con / Estamos de vuelta" en medio de los programas y también al final.

- Se siguen mostrando los créditos finales

-  Se siguen usando las mismas promos que tienen texto.

- Los próximos estenos no son iguales al Feed Panregional y Feed Brasil.

Con lo anterior se puede pensar que el canal continuará de forma independiente, aunque puede seguir habiendo cambios de un momento a otro, si eso llegara a suceder, se los estaré avisando.

Nickelodeon México - Ahora manejado desde Europa (14/11/2023)

Ayer la señal de Nickelodeon México pasó a ser directamente administrada desde Europa, sólo que este cambio fue mucho más sutil que en los feeds Panregional y Brasil, ya que múltiples aspectos (tales como los créditos, las tandas en medio de los episodios, los bumpers genéricos, los separadores "Ya Volvemos/Estanos de Vuelta", las promos propiamente localizadas y la promoción a Paramount+) se mantienen intactos. A continuación una lista con las modificaciones:

-El logo en pantalla ahora está en la misma posición que en el feed panregional, y ya no se mueve de lugar para los programas 4:3.

-El banner ATP ya no tiene el texto "el contenido puede incluir violencia de fantasía leve o cómica".

-Los banners "Ahora/Después/Más Tarde" fueron reemplazados por un solo banner con el texto "Proximo" (una traducción literal de Next). 

-Los PNGs de los banners ahora son los mismos que usan en Europa/PAN/BR.

-Los créditos se siguen emitiendo, pero ya no se muestra la pantalla negra con créditos de doblaje al final de estos.

-Ahora solo hay una tanda en medio de cada episodio en lugar de dos (o en el caso del feed panregional, ninguna)

Nickelodeon México | Primera tanda comercial después del cambio de feed | 14/11/2023 - 06:10 AM

Despues del cambio de feeds, en Nickelodeon México, así es como lucen las tandas.

Ahora los bloques comerciales solamente aparecen entre capítulo y capítulo de cada show, pero, para rellenar el tiempo de las que eran las dos tandas del anterior feed, se incrementan los espacios de cortos y fragmentos de episodios, así como, por fortuna, haber recibido de forma correcta el paquete de cortinillas de ida y vuelta de comerciales de cada uno de ellos. 

Nickelodeon | Inicio del nuevo Feed Mexicano operado desde Europa | 14/11/2023 - 06:00 AM

Lo que todos temimos, sucedió.

Desde hoy, Nickelodeon México, la unica señal que hasta el momento no habia sido fusionada con Europa, lo ha hecho.

Desde hoy, a las 06:00 AM, cambió su feed, mandando sus operaciones al otro lado del mundo, solo que con una diferencia.

Este feed está MUCHO MEJOR organizado que los demás, y manteniendo artística, cortinillas, créditos finales intactos y promos localizadas perfectamente, así como también se pueden transmitir libremente contenidos en 4:3.

Aunque, en sí, con ésto, Nickelodeon ha retirado definitivamente sus operaciones de transmisión en América Latina, siendo cedidas a Paramount Networks Global en Europa, y las señales latinas son solamente repetidoras de señal.
