It truly was the Best Day Ever on Sunday, November 10, as SpongeBob voice actor Tom Kenny and his band, the Hi-Seas stopped by Nickelodeon Universe at Mall of America to celebrate the 25th anniversary of SpongeBob SquarePants!

During his visit to the Nickelodeon theme park, Kenny performed several songs from Nickelodeon's beloved animated series, including "Don't Be a Jerk (It's Christmas)" and "Best Day Ever", the latter on the song's 18th year anniversary, accompanied by a SpongeBob costumed character on stage. Kenny also took time to meet and greet fans at the Bloomington, Minneapolis-based attraction.

The PAW Patrol spin-off is officially coming to Netflix!
The hit PAW Patrol spin-off Rubble & Crew is heading to Netflix in the United States. All 26 episodes (split into 49 segments) making up season 1 will join the streaming service on Monday, December 9th, 2024, in addition to the show’s current streaming home on Paramount+. The news comes to us through our friends over at What's on Netflix.
Set in the community of Builder Cove, a neighboring town to PAW Patrol's Adventure Bay, Rubble & Crew, the first-ever spinoff from PAW Patrol, centers on Rubble, the funny and optimistic leader of the construction crew. In the small, quickly growing town, lots of things are still needed for the community to come together. Rubble and his construction pup family--his pup cousins Mix, Wheeler, Charger, Motor, along with Grandpa Gravel and Auntie Crane--must work together to tackle and build all the projects the town needs.
Since launching on Nickelodeon on Aug. 12, 2013, Spin Master’s PAW Patrol has consistently ranked as a top-rated preschool series and is seen in 180 territories and translated in 33 languages. The beloved property’s first-ever spinoff, Rubble & Crew, debuted on Feb. 3, 2023 and quickly became a fan-favorite.
Produced by Spin Master Entertainment, Luxton Handspiker, Alessandro Pugiotto, Shazdeh Kapedia, and Alberta Bolan lend their voices to the series, currently airing its second and third seasons. The series airs in Canada on Treehouse TV and StackTV, with Nickelodeon up until now exclusively carrying the title in the United States.
The United States will be the second country to add Rubble and Crew, although it’s unclear whether more countries will follow suit. The first Netflix region to receive the show was Canada, adding the first season in late September 2024. Since that addition, the show has been featured in the Kids TV top 10 every day (47 days and counting), according to FlixPatrol.
The addition to Netflix US, in particular, comes as somewhat of a surprise given that PAW Patrol doesn’t stream there in any capacity despite streaming pretty much everywhere else in the world (albeit with only a couple of seasons available in most locations). Despite only having two seasons in most regions, we know the series still pulls in millions of viewing hours for Netflix courtesy of the three Netflix Engagement Reports.
This is just the latest Nickelodeon pick-up Netflix has made recently. In November alone, they scooped up the rights to three titles, one of which, The Fairly OddParents: A New Wish!, was a global release labeled as a Netflix Original outside of the US.
