The Ed Asner Family Center presents the 4th annual reading of It's a Wonderful Life, live on-stage on December 14 at the Garry Marshall Theatre and available for streaming on TrillerTV.
LOS ANGELES, Nov. 21, 2024 -- The Ed Asner Family Center is creating holiday magic as it presents the 4th annual reading of It's a Wonderful Life, live on-stage December 14 at the Garry Marshall Theatre and available for streaming on TrillerTV. Tom Kenny and the beloved cast of SpongeBob SquarePants, hosted by Tom Bergeron with special appearances by legend Mark Hamill (Avatar: The Last Airbender, The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants), comedian Ron Funches (Rock Paper Scissors, Trolls, Inside Out 2), and Joey King (The Act, The Kissing Booth series), are set to bring this holiday classic to life in a staged live radio play, complete with special effects, a band, and surprise guests to round out this all-star cast. Previous celebrity participants included Jason Sudeikis, Rosario Dawson, Brendan Fraser, Christina Applegate, and Pete Davidson. Victor Nelli is returning as director and producer, with Cellin Gluck, Karin Beck, and Tom McAndrew producing.
"With the challenges of the pandemic now behind us, we're introducing an exciting new twist this year. While we will continue streaming to thousands of viewers worldwide, this year's performance will be a 'Live Radio Play,' with all the performers together on stage. I also thank the family of Philip Van Doren Stern for allowing us once again to present this incredible story.
