The new Swedish six-part original dramedy series Where the Sun Always Shines, premiering exclusively from 10 November.
Leading the all-star ensemble cast is Erik “Jerka” Johansson (Bonusfamily), Rakel Wärmländer (Limbo), Per Lasson (Thin Blue Line), Lisa Linnertorp (Sunny Side) and acclaimed actors Claes Månsson (Äntligen!) and Suzanne Reuter (The Restaurant). The series is created by critically acclaimed director, writer and actor Felix Herngren (Sunny Side, Bonusfamily).
Filmed on location in Mallorca, Where the Sun Always Shines follows Tom (Lasson) and Petra (Linnertorp) a successful Swedish couple who sell their hypermarket in Sweden for a record sum to live the life of luxury on the Spanish island. But during Tom’s 50th birthday party, events take an unexpected turn – pulling Tom’s brother Timmy (Johansson) and wife Maja (Wärmländer) into the mix, setting off a chain of family drama.
