Nick Jr. Italy to Premiere 'Corn & Peg' on Monday 15th July 2019

The brand-new animated preschool series Corn & Peg will gallop onto Nick Jr. Italy (Italia) in Canada on Monday 15th July 2019 at 17:00. The series follows the extraordinary friendship between Corn, a loveable Unicorn, and Peg, a plucky Pegasus, who share the same unbridled enthusiasm for doing good deeds. Corn & Peg features a social-emotional curriculum that highlights empathy and kindness, and a school readiness curriculum emphasizing colors, math, directions, and health and wellness.

Following launch, new episodes of Corn & Peg will continue to premiere weekdays at 17:00 on Nickelodeon Italia's top-rated preschool channel.

In Corn & Peg, the pair of inseparable best friends are inspired by their favorite superhero, Captain Thunderhoof—champion of all do-gooders—to make a difference and help the residents in their colorful equine community of Galloping Grove. Together, Corn and Peg are the dynamic duo of doing good, always putting others before themselves and believing that doing good feels good.

The US-English dub of Corn & Peg features the voices of: Jaiden Cannatelli (Blue's Clues & You, PAW Patrol, Degrassi: Don't Look Back, The Adventures of Napkin Man!, Odd Squad) as Corn, Shechinah Mpumlwana (Dot.) as Peg, Julie Sype (3 Amigonauts, Cupcake & Dino: General Services) as Captain Thunderhoof and Ava Close (Wishenpoof) as Clarissa.



Corn & Peg made its world premiere on Nickelodeon USA on Monday, March 4, 2019. Following its U.S. launch, the series will now roll out on Nickelodeon’s international channels and branded blocks throughout 2019. Nickelodeon renewed Corn & Peg for season two in April 2019. The series also airs on Treehouse TV in Canada.

Corn & Peg is produced by Nelvana Studios in association with Nickelodeon Productions.

Corn & Peg is based on a animated Nickelodeon Preschool short of the same name made in 2015. In the short, the role of CORN was voiced by Colin Critchley (Nickelodeon's Leyendas del Templo Escondido TV movie).

Nickelodeon to Give Out 'The Loud House Presents The Casagrandes' Summer 2019 Exclusive Comic at SDCC 2019

Nickelodeon is set to premiere The Casagrandes, the network's upcoming animated The Loud House spin-off which will follow Ronnie Anne and her chaotic multi-generational family in Great Lakes City, this fall, and to celebrate, Nickelodeon will be handing out "The Loud House Presents The Casagrandes", a brand-new summer 2019 comic exclusive to visitors of Comic-Con International: San Diego, taking place between July 18-21, 2019 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, California! The The Casagrandes comic book was also recently given out to attendees to Chicano-Con, a gathering made by and for Latinos hosted by Border X Brewing on July 3, 2019.

Check out a first-look at "The Loud House Presents The Casagrandes", courtesy of Lalo Alcaraz (Coco), an Hispanic-American cartoonist who served as a cultural consultant and consulting producer for the five-episode arc of The Loud House featuring the Casagrandes, below!:

The Casagrandes will follow Lincoln Loud's best friend Ronnie Anne and her brother Bobby Santiago as they adjust to their new life in Great Lakes City, where they now live with their big, loving and chaotic multi-generational family, the Casagrandes. In the series, Ronnie Anne’s new life promises to be an adventure, especially now that she lives under one roof with her grandparents, aunt, uncle, cousins, and a sass-talking parrot. As if that weren’t enough excitement, she lives over the family-run Mercado, which is a gathering place for everyone in the neighborhood.

The Casagrandes will feature the voice talent of Izabella Alvarez (Westworld) as Ronnie Anne, Carlos PenaVega (Big Time Rush) as Bobby, Carlos Alazraqui (Rocko's Modern Life, The Fairly OddParents) as Carlos, Roxana Ortega (The League) as Frida, Alexa PenaVega (Spy Kids) as Carlota, Jared Kozak (Born this Way) as CJ, Alex Cazares (The Boss Baby: Back in Business) as Carl; Ruben Garfias (East Los High) as Hector, “Abuelo;” Sonia Manzano (Sesame Street) as Rosa, “Abuela;”, Sumalee Montano (Nashville) as Maria, Leah Mei Gold (Legion) as Sid Chang, Lexi Sexton as Adelaide Chang, Eugenio Derbez (Dora and the Lost City of Gold, Overboard) as Dr. Santiago, Ken Jeong (Wonder Park, Dr. Ken) as Mr. Stanley Chang, and Melissa Joan Hart (Clarissa Explains it All, Sabrina the Teenage Witch) as Mrs. Becca Chang.

The Casagrande family was first introduced in the The Loud House special, “The Loudest Mission: Relative Chaos.” The family appeared throughout the third season of The Loud House and recently had a five-episode arc in season four of The Loud House, with crossover episodes also planned in season five. The Casagrande family has helped The Loud House garner acclaim, including two Imagen Awards.

The Casagrande family, along with their pets, also recently moved into the it The Loud House game app, Loud House Ultimate Treehouse.
