Rugrats, provided to Creators Syndicate by Nickelodeon, based off the popular animated television series has been created for children and family's to laugh and enjoy together.

Groundbreaking singer-songwriter Jill Sobule sadly died on Thursday, May 1 at the age of 66. Her death was announced by her spokesman, David Elkin, who said she died in a house fire in the Minneapolis suburb of Woodbury. Sobule had been on tour and was scheduled to play a hometown concert Friday night in Denver.

Sobule, beloved among the songwriter community and known for her political activism, broke through in the ’90s with songs like “I Kissed a Girl” and “Supermodel.” The former was the first openly gay song to crack the top 20 on the Billboard charts, the latter was featured in the 1995 film Clueless. Sobule had also worked with Nickelodeon over the years, including contributing the song "The Secretive Life" to the Harriet the Spy soundtrack and penning songs for Nickelodeon's mid-2000's comedy series, Unfabulous, for which she also sung the show's theme song.

Parques Reunidos and Paramount join forces to bring exciting themed experiences to park guests.

17th April 2025. Parques Reunidos, a leading operator of leisure parks, and Paramount, one of the world’s leading media and entertainment companies, have announced a strategic partnership to bring new and immersive experiences to Parques Reunidos´ portfolio.
This agreement marks a significant milestone in the development of Paramount-branded content within Parques Reunidos' portfolio, offering visitors a wider range of thrilling rides, interactive experiences, and entertainment for all ages, featuring some of Paramount´s most beloved characters.
“This collaboration will allow our visitors to enjoy more of Paramount´s characters and franchises and will enable Parques Reunidos to launch strategic projects in a more agile way to evolve our value proposition,” said Pascal Ferracci, CEO of Parques Reunidos.

“We have been excited to bring this new partnership to life through two very relevant investments: A Quiet Place Maze at Movie Park Germany opened this past Halloween season and offered our visitors an immersive experience based on the very popular Paramount franchise. The new Nickelodeon area at Mirabilandia, Italy represents a major improvement to the value proposition for families with kids. These are the first two of a long list of investments to bring this long-term agreement to life,” said Patricio Ramos, Chief Transformation Officer of Parques Reunidos.
“Parques Reunidos and Paramount have signed agreements in the past, but this strategic partnership will bring our relationship to new heights. The first Paramount-themed area under this new partnership is debuting this month at Mirabilandia, Italy, featuring attractions inspired by iconic Nickelodeon franchises such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and DORA in addition to Spin Master’s PAW Patrol,” said Marie Marks, SVP of Global Experiences for Paramount.
As part of this new agreement, Parques Reunidos also introduced a new Halloween maze in Movie Park Germany leveraging the successful franchise of “A Quiet Place.” Visitors become immersed in the film sets and can experience Evelyn and Lee Abbott's horror, as they try to escape from the deadly alien creatures who attack anything that makes a sound.
Parques Reunidos and Paramount are working together to develop new projects in the coming years, with further details and locations to be announced soon.

Momentum Leisure expands collaboration with Paramount
Amsterdam, April 16, 2025 - Momentum Leisure, leading developer and operator of premium theme parks in Central and Eastern Europe, is expanding its collaboration with Paramount Location-Based Experiences. Momentum Leisure's three Majaland theme parks in Poland are getting a brand new Nickelodeon zone, where guests can meet costume characters of the iconic Marshall, Chase and Skye of PAW Patrol®, produced by Spin Master Entertainment, in addition to SpongeBob and Patrick from SpongeBob SquarePants.
In July of 2024, Momentum Leisure and Paramount announced that they will further thematize the three operational Majaland parks. Within the partnership, Momentum Leisure is responsible for the construction and operation of the parks as owner. Paramount provides long-term design and licensing services for the Nickelodeon zones.

Momentum Leisure opened its third theme park in Poland last year: Majaland Gdansk. After Majaland Kownaty (2018), just across the border from Berlin, and Majaland Warsaw (2022), the company thus strengthened its position in the growth market of Central and Eastern Europe. The parks welcome almost 300,000 visitors per year. A beautiful new theme park in Gliwice, Poland, is expected to open its doors in the first quarter of 2027. With a residential market of around 11.4 million people, the new park will cover a significant group of future visitors.
Majaland Gdansk will be the first Momentum Leisure theme park that will be equipped with a Nickelodeon zone, followed by Majaland Kownaty and Majaland Warschau.

The Majaland parks already feature some Nickelodeon experiences. Majaland Gdańsk, for example, houses rides and attractions inspired by characters like SpongeBob SquarePants and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Opening Gdansk Nickelodeon land
On April 26, Majaland Gdańsk celebrated the grand opening of Nickelodeon Land, a vibrant new zone featuring popular characters such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Patrick and the heroes of PAW Patrol-Skye, Chase and Marshall.
Wouter Dekkers, CEO Momentum Leisure and Zaneta Gutowska-Rukszan, Managing Director Majaland Poland, introduced this major upgrade for the park in Gdansk.
Afterwards, visitors could enjoy interactive games, encounters with favorite characters, exciting attractions and the tropical Pineapple Juice Bar. This successful opening day ended with a colorful Confetti Party!
